What a fantastic location, with a great host. First, if you want to stay in a little slice of paradise, this is the place to go. A well equipped home in a gated community - which really is a community with everyone so friendly and helpful. The property itself is great, a real home away from home. It came everything we needed for a month in paradise. The property itself more than lived up to expectations - when we originally looked at the listing we were skeptical that the monkeys and other wildlife would be seen but the wildlife was abundant, the property extremely well maintained, and the common areas all very well kept. The location is amazing as well, especially if you don't want to be in a tourist town like Quepos or Jaco. Secluded, with a short walk to an amazing beach, a short walk to an amazing local restaurant, and a drive or bike ride into the town of Parritta where all you shopping needs can be met. Mauricio was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We have already recommended the location to our friends and family, and would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

Fredy and his wife were excellent hosts. Vey beautiful place with outstanding landscaping. The cabin itself was very nice. They have two big dogs and three cats, but animals are very common in Costa Rica. Good location for day trips, and places to stop/eat. Quiet, peaceful, enjoyable area! When we reported a sink faucet developed a problem ,Fredy replaced it while we were out. Would stay here, again!

The view from this Airbnb is absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours with our binoculars, watching toucans and macaws glide over the treetops with the ocean as a stunning backdrop. The price for that view is unbeatable. During our stay, construction started nearby, and it seems likely to continue through the year. The crew worked most of the day, so if you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing headphones or another way to block out the sound. It would be wonderful if the city of Quepos considered limiting construction hours to balance development with the area’s natural beauty.

Beautiful space and surroundings, awesome pool, super friendly and responsive hosts, darling children, and big adorable (sometimes loud) dog. Short bike ride to beaches, restaurants, and yoga classes. All round a great place. We loved our stay.

Wonderful place in the middle of the jungle. Very quiet and secluded. Absolutely needs a 4x4. The pool is shared with another house. Stunning views from the pool. Would come back.

We had a great stay at Katherine’s guest house. We were using it as a home base while we looked at houses in Ojochal and the surrounding area. The location was super convenient with great restaurants in walking distance. Katherine was there to meet us and let us in when we arrived to town late in the evening, and she was a great sounding board for us as we went about our home search with her experience and knowledge of the area. The price was very fair. The house itself was incredibly comfortable with cold AC in the bedroom, a full kitchen, and the amazing/private outdoor shower!

We loved to stay at Casa Morpho. The views are spectacular and it is very peaceful. Everything you need is available to you. The open air kitchen is a great place to hang out. Thank you Sonja for being so accommodating. We will be back soon.

My family and I spent the new year on Doña Machelly's airbnb and everything was perfect! The house is just as seen in the photos, I'd even dare to say it's even better. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you may need, the space the house has is giant which our dogs enjoyed too much and also the pool is perfect. It has a perfect location since it is close to the beach but also has just a convenience store just on par for everything you need to buy. Doña Machelly helped us in absolutely everything we needed and answered quickly. In conclusion, my whole family was satisfied with the stay and we hope to be back soon, if you have the chance to book this airbnb definitely do!

Len and Vani’s place was such a dream to stay at, absolute paradise. The house looked exactly as pictured and was very clean. It was great to be able to relax in the hot tub and pool and we loved waking up to the sounds of the jungle each day. They also have the two sweetest dogs, and their pup Reina always lovingly greeted us whenever we would return from our daily adventures. Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation! Thanks so much Len & Vani!

Anita and Pirmin are super hosts! The lodge was newly built this year and is up to date. The two are always available, always kind and helpful. Even when we had a very nasty stomach intestinal flu, the two came up in the middle of the night, made us tea and brought missing medication. The bungalows are high quality built and very well equipped. You have almost everything you need, even coffee, salt and pepper and oil and vinegar are available. The towels are thick and fluffy and the bed linen very comfortable. Also in the large 2m wide bed you sleep very well. The terrace is great, you have a view of the forest and we saw a lot of toucans and other birds, one morning we were woken up by a group of howler monkeys sitting right in the trees in front of our terrace. Wonderful!! The pool is great. All in all, we were highly satisfied and would be happy to come back!! Thanks for the great time!!

Beautiful place, as described. A quiet and safe area just to rest. It's close to the beach. Minor was the one who helped us at the place, he is a super attentive, polite and respectful person. Excellent!

Excellent place, just as shown in the photos, with an excellent view of the Orosi Valley. Ury is an excellent host, with recommendations to get to the place by an easier route.

The place is very complete and clean, the pool was quite clean, maybe the kitchen is a little dirty, it could improve. Unfortunately, we ran into an incredible storm and the power went out, we had to lock ourselves in but Reggie was always making sure we were okay and even went to look for us. He was always attentive, it's close to restaurants and Playa Esterillos. We highly recommend this place.

The place is beautiful, very peaceful, which was what we were looking for, the comfort of the house and the spectacular pool, a place made to rest and have a good time, totally recommended. The good service. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely family and a wonderful set up. JP and Emma were friendly, accomodating, and took us to local attractions when it aligned with their plans which was a nice authentic Air BnB experience. JP sorted a local mechanic for my car when my cars starter died. A real help! They inspired us with their trampoline wall, along with zip wire and general awesome play orientated set up. Its a great place for a family stay (we had our 16 month old and she loved it) also they have 2 lovely young children under 4. There is a lovely community feel here if you stay a while. Even the travellers without children were great to have around. These guys are circus pros, and you will see some cool stuff if you stay a while. We will be back!

The place is nice. Close to a nice beach and surrounded by nature. Fatima is always ready to answer any questions or concerns that may arise.

Location is very central, super close to the National park and lots of restaurants around. Nick is an awesome host, very responsive and hospitable. Made sure we had everything we needed!

This place is very special; magical. The host cares a whole lot too, which really makes a difference. The setting by the river is unreal, the bed is comfortable, place is clean. The area is cute and has little attractions and beautiful cloudbridge rain forest.

rita was super nice and welcoming. the place has a nice little pool that the kids enjoyed very much. and sitting on the couch looking at all the greenery was great. the house has extra small things that helped, like usb splitters to charge all our phones (our appliances aren't with the local plug, so that helped a lot). the television is only in one room though. and can't be seen from the living space. if you decide on ojochal, i definitely recommend Rita's place. aside from that, about the location. it is quiet and pretty, but ojochal was a bit problematic for us. some water, and electricity cut offs (didn't have water for half a day), and the main bridge to ojochal sometimes gets swept away by the rain, only to be rebuilt in a few hours. there is another longer way around though in case that happens
