Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sassi di Matera

This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

This place is conveniently located and has got a beautiful rooftop which is perfect place to watch the sunrise. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom was big enough for 4 of us to stay very comfortably. recommend for group or family stay! host was always very responsive and let us leave the luggage earlier than check in time.

Stefania’s apartment was a great place to stay in Matera. It was well located with easy access to both Sassi, the large public spaces, shopping and restaurants. Besides the excellent location, the apartment itself was wonderful. The bedroom was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom, tons of storage space and extra blankets. The large living room had a futon for extra sleeping space. The kitchen was very well equipped and maybe the only Airbnb I’ve stayed in with good, sharp knives! The downstairs bathroom is the larger, with a nice-sized shower. In addition, there are two outside spaces with small seating areas, one on the roof giving a great view down the hill and one outside the front door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay.

la posizione è il punto forte dell'alloggio centralissimo a Matera, da lì si possono raggiungere tutti i punti di interesse con facilità. l'oste è sempre pronto a rispondere alle richieste. unico neo la mancanza del bidet, ma in una casa nel centro storico è anche comprensibile.

La casa nel Sasso Barisano è stata una scelta casuale, ma fortunata! Il quartiere è molto tranquillo, silenzioso, pulito, perfetto per chi non ama ritrovarsi fra troppi turisti. L' alloggio è adeguato per chi voglia passare un fine settimana a Matera e dintorni.

Ci siamo trovate, veramente molto bene a casa di Alessandro, la comunicazione con lui è sempre stata molto facile! la casa è davvero molto gradevole e comodissima per visitare i Sassi di Matera. È andato tutto benissimo, ma un complimento speciale al nostro host che ha saputo essere immediatamente d aiuto in una situazione indipendente dalla volontà sua e nostra ! Grazie Consiglio questa casa in ogni suo aspetto!

Absolutely fabulous location and lovely place to stay ! We were completely wowed by Matera in general and the location and views were incredible . Loved our stay and wished could stay longer …have made a promise to myself I will go back ! The apartment was truely beautiful and we appreciated the little touches of yoghurt cake and juice which we had on the balcony for breakfast before we left. Many Thanks !

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

We were two couples and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in the modern part of Matera but only a very short walk to elegant shops and restaurants, and to the amazing historical center you'll be exploring. The apartment is modern, spacious, nicely furnished, with a very nicely stocked kitchen. The patio is very large, secluded, and comfortable. We loved everything about the place and would definitely stay here again. I'd note that there is one bathroom adjacent to both bedrooms, but the second bathroom is at the other end of the apartment. The host offers secure garage parking for a modest fee. I recommend you take advantage of this but be sure to drop your bags off at the apartment before you park your car.

Like stepping into a beautiful home, packed with every extra you can imagine it didn’t seem like an AirBnb. From the snacks and drinks to personal greeting and keeping a parking space - expectations were exceeded. Only a short stroll from the Sassi and probably the best view available from any accommodation. If you’re going to Matera, don’t hesitate to book this.

Appartement très bien situé a proximité du centre ville sans être dans le centre touristique. nous avons pu nous garer sans problème dans la rue. on était comme a la maison..avec deux salles de bain, le luxe!

Dies war eine der besten Airbnb Erfahrungen. Die Wohnung ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dadurch einfach wunderschön. Wir fanden das Bett unglaublich bequem. Leider hatten wir nicht das beste Wetter, aber ich kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass es sich auf dem Balkon auch sehr gut essen lässt. Zögert nicht und bucht diese Unterkunft, wenn ihr einen schönen und bequemen Aufenthalt in Matera wollt 😊

Soggiorno stupendo in una città da fiaba. Tutte le promesse sono state mantenute. Carmela è stata gentile e sollecita. L’appartamento è spazioso e garantisce un’ottima privacy se si è in più persone. Pulizia al top, comodità e confort. Lo consiglio vivamente

Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πάρα πολύ καθαρό και ευρύχωρο! Η Μαριάννα ήταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει για κάθε μας απορία μας και απαντούσε πολύ γρήγορα σε ο,τι χρειαζομασταν!

Nino si è da subito dimostrato professionale ed amichevole. La casa è una vera chicca, in un tranquillo contesto condominiale a due passi dal centro. Eccellente la possibilità del posto auto riservato all'interno del condominio. Host e appartamento super consigliati!

En la ciudad había un problema de tuberías y no había agua. Nos hizo el gesto de pagar la mitad, por no poder usar el agua este día. Se agradece mucho! Ejemplar en la comunidad de Airbnb. Mil gracias!

He spent time orienting us with the area and provided a generous selection of local delicacies. An unobtrusive host with a meticulously appointed property. El apartamento de Pasquale es tal y como aparece en el anuncio. Es fantástico. Es ideal para visitar Matera sin los problemas de acceso al centro y hemos estado muy a gusto. Es importante remarcar la información que aparece en la descripción del apartamento: la cocina es para prepararte un desayuno, ya que no está equipada para cocinar, aunque eso no es problema gracias a la oferta gastronómica de Matera y alrededores ;-) Por otro lado, la climatización con suelo radiante es una maravilla. Silenciosa y efectiva. Recomendamos al 100% el apartamento y esperamos regresar en un futuro.

Ci siamo fermati solo per una notte di passaggio. Appartamento di un’artista sicuramente, molto particolare e piacevole ci è piaciuto tantissimo. Se dovessi ritornare in zona ci ritornerei volentieri.

Pani Ersilia bardzo miła i pomocna, mieszkanie zgodne z opisem, mieliśmy okazję być tam tylko przez jedną noc więc okolicy nie zwiedziliśmy ale sama lokalizacja bardzo korzystna, blisko do Bari. Czysto, skromnie, przytulnie :)

Un agréable séjour dans l’appartement de Luciano, les photos correspondent à la réalité. Tout était bien propre, idéal pour un voyage en famille. Tout est moderne, décoré avec goût, fonctionnel ! On s’y est très bien senti avec les enfants. Luciano est accueillant, a fait l’effort de parler français avec nous et nous a offert un petit cadeau de bienvenue.
