Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Sassi di Matera

The house is very nice, clean and equipped with everything you need. We were in two families and we were very comfortable in the townhouse. Each room has mosquito nets, and air conditioning, the outdoor space is equipped with a table and armchairs for dinners or breakfasts. The village has a shared pool and a tennis court.

One of our favorite stays in Italy so far. Matera is such a magical place and this home made it even more magical. Very friendly hostess, and the breakfast each morning plus snacks left for us was such a nice touch as well. The view from both balconies is just incredible. Can’t recommend enough ♥️

This place is conveniently located and has got a beautiful rooftop which is perfect place to watch the sunrise. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom was big enough for 4 of us to stay very comfortably. recommend for group or family stay! host was always very responsive and let us leave the luggage earlier than check in time.

Eleanor’s place was perfect. What a great location. Easy walk to the Saadi. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The apartment was very clean, spacious and has everything you may need. There was a lovely breakfast each morning to bring to our apartment. We highly recommend Eleonora’s place.

I stayed in Stefania's apartment for the second time after four years. It is a perfect nest in the middle of the sensational old town, the Sassi of Matera. Very quiet location with an almost fairytale view of the old district and the gorge on the outskirts. A special highlight is the large terrace. Here you can read wonderfully under the umbrella, laze or drink an apero (except at lunchtime. Then it's too hot even under the umbrella). The apartment is conveniently furnished. If you don't need a lot of luxury, Stefania will certainly feel comfortable.

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful room in Matera! The location is perfect—within walking distance of everything while still being in a quiet and peaceful area. The view is absolutely breathtaking, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring the city. Claudio was fabulous—communicative, flexible, and always quick to respond, making check-in and any questions a breeze. He gave plenty of ideas about places to eat and left plenty of resources to learn about the history, restaurant guides and maps. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Matera!

If we could leave a 10* review - we would! Do not hesitate to book Francesco’s place! He was so accommodating as we were not sure of our arrival time (we came in by bus from Salerno). He waited to greet us to explain everything! He had the lights on and candles lit so when we walked in- WOW! Soooo MAGICAL! The location is just perfect and for our two dinner meals - we ate at restaurants within steps from “our Sassi” (he recommended!!) -We would have loved to stay longer, however, our travel schedule wouldn’t allow it) You must take advantage of the Relaxation Room… it was heavenly taking a bath at night with the candles lit. Book before you miss out!!

Host was amazing!! Probably best host we’ve had in Italy! He sent so many local recommendations and history of Matera! Was always responsive and flexible with our last minute travel changes. Apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay here in Matera!

We were two couples and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in the modern part of Matera but only a very short walk to elegant shops and restaurants, and to the amazing historical center you'll be exploring. The apartment is modern, spacious, nicely furnished, with a very nicely stocked kitchen. The patio is very large, secluded, and comfortable. We loved everything about the place and would definitely stay here again. I'd note that there is one bathroom adjacent to both bedrooms, but the second bathroom is at the other end of the apartment. The host offers secure garage parking for a modest fee. I recommend you take advantage of this but be sure to drop your bags off at the apartment before you park your car.

There are people and people. Anita, our host, belongs by right to the second category: immediately friendly, welcoming and professional, everything is easy with her. The house is perfect for groups, comfortable, clean and relaxing. Anita puts that "plus" that really makes the difference between a place and "your home": impossible to remain indifferent to all this, kindness before everything else. 😊

Everything was as indicated. Really perfect location, in a few minutes in the old town or Sassi! Would book again and can honestly recommend it!

Ideal location, walkable to everything you would want to see and do - a little closer to the Caveoso than the Barisano side of things, but all within reach. Perfect property outfitted with everything you might expect and more. Amazing host who is thoughtful, proactive, knowledgeable, accessible and never intrusive. I will absolutely seek out one of Pasquale's units next time I am in Matera without even thinking of looking elsewhere.

Nino was immediately professional and friendly. The house is a real gem, in a quiet condominium setting within walking distance of the center. Excellent possibility of a reserved parking space inside the condominium. Highly recommended hosts and apartment!

Great place to stay for a day trip to Matera. Just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping and the Sassi. Was perfect for us!

We only stopped for one night on the way. Definitely an artist's apartment, very special and pleasant, we loved it. If I were to return to the area, I would gladly return.

The house is really nice and equipped with ALL the comforts. Despite the heat due to its exposure, it remains cool so we turned on the air conditioner a little. The residential complex has a beautiful pool (a little expensive) and is located in a somewhat secluded but still convenient location; in 8/10 minutes by car you can reach the beaches of Castellaneta Marina and in 15 minutes to Ginosa Marina. Alfredo was super helpful. We were sorry to leave.

Good morning I stayed in this apartment recently. Very clean house, helpful and kind owners made me feel at home, even in the village and the people at the entrance in the guardhouse were helpful and friendly. In the evening by the pool they always organized something. I would say that if it weren't for the fact that my car broke down and this year the shuttle service didn't leave from the village, they would have been perfect. Simona
