Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Province of Matera

This was such a luxury. This cave house was just as described. It was the best shower, the best sleep, the best comfort I have had in my long tour of Italy. Daniella, the host, was so responsive and accomodating, making sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend this space to anyone I know. If we are fortunate enough to visit this magical city again, this is the home I would choose.

A simple and efficient accommodation in a small Italian village. The sunny balcony is very nice in the morning to enjoy the tranquility of the village while sipping its coffee. Teresa is very responsive, pleasant and welcoming.

My time in Matera was great and Stefania's apartment the perfect place to discover the city. In the middle of the old town of Matera, just below the cathedral, the apartment is close to many sights but still not on the main axes. The apartment is superbly furnished and architecturally very exciting on two levels. The roof terrace is another highlight of the apartment. If the weather permits, you can enjoy the time very comfortably over the rooftops of the city. Should I travel to Matera again, I'd love to come back here.

Nice and clean apartment, quiet and very close to the stones. It's like the pictures. We did not meet Alessandro personally but in addition to having always responded immediately via message, he called us as soon as we arrived and provided us with both the contact of a guide and useful information about restaurants and more. Highly recommended!!! If I had to go back to Matera, I would go back right away

Absolutely fabulous location and lovely place to stay ! We were completely wowed by Matera in general and the location and views were incredible . Loved our stay and wished could stay longer …have made a promise to myself I will go back ! The apartment was truely beautiful and we appreciated the little touches of yoghurt cake and juice which we had on the balcony for breakfast before we left. Many Thanks !

I loved staying at this place. The place is decorated and has amazing furniture (I love the atmosphere that all the lamps give), it shows that the details have been taken care of. Patrizia gave me perfect directions on how to get there, and although you have to go down some stairs, you soon realize that there are few by Matera standards. The view it has is unparalleled and the ease with which you can reach the different points of the historic city made it easy for me to get to know Matera thoroughly. There were many things to have for breakfast or a snack, something that is much appreciated. Patrizia's place contributed greatly to how much I enjoyed Matera

a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

we stayed for two nights, the house was super clean, equipped with everything we could need. Aldo was extremely kind, he gave us great tips for visiting Gravina. highly recommended!

Comfortable, clean apartment just a few steps away from the stones. Great base for getting around Matera, Carmelita is super helpful and provides a lot of information, she responds immediately to any request. in an upcoming stay in Matera we will come back here.

Very well located apartment close to the city center without being in the tourist center. we were able to park without problem on the street. we were like at home..with two bathrooms, luxury!

Beautiful large and light-flooded apartment with fantastic views! Montescaglioso is a wonderful and very lively place. Many shops, a beautiful monastery and walks. The local area is lovely

We had a great stay in Matera. Mikele and Nicola’s place is easy walking distance to Sassi, and to great restaurants. We’ve stayed in many airbnb and this was, without a doubt, the best equipped when everything you could need, including a plentiful assortment of food, coffee, tea, fruits and drinks. Check in was so easy - Mikele found free parking for us nearby and helped carry our suitcases up to the unit. He was friendly , helpful and proactive with restaurant recommendations. He showed us how to make coffee and provided a helpful tour of the unit. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location. Everything is walkable including the main attraction, Sissi! Place was clean. Host gave great instructions and gave us some good recommendations.

Nino was immediately professional and friendly. The house is a real gem, in a quiet condominium setting within walking distance of the center. Excellent possibility of a reserved parking space inside the condominium. Highly recommended hosts and apartment!

Great place to stay for a day trip to Matera. Just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping and the Sassi. Was perfect for us!

The 1er Grand Cru of airbnb. In Te Reo Maori has a word to describe care and hospitality, being manaakitanga. Pasquale has this with a strong commitment to his craft of hosting. He spent time orienting us with the area and provided a generous selection of local delicacies. An unobtrusive host with a meticulously appointed property. Pasquale's apartment is exactly as it appears in the ad. It's fantastic. It's ideal for visiting Matera without the problems of access to the center and we were very comfortable. It is important to note the information that appears in the apartment description: the kitchen is for preparing breakfast, as it is not equipped for cooking, although that is not a problem thanks to the gastronomic offer of Matera and its surroundings ;-) On the other hand, the underfloor heating is wonderful. Quiet and effective. We recommend the apartment 100% and hope to return in the future.
