Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Province of Matera

The apartment is as described, very clean. The welcome is very friendly. Breakfast (free) is very hearty. Good bedding. The small town has a very beautiful abbey, we meet people who say "hello", a rather rare thing these days. Great stay, thanks to our host.

It’s a gem, this appartment. Quiet with a fabulous roofterrace and in about 30 Minutes you are in Matera. Owners are quick responders and gave us usefull (diner)suggestions.

We were very well received with an early check-in by Mr. Pino, who was extremely kind and very detailed in his explanations of the place, which we had underestimated, but which were useful during our stay in Matera. The area is quiet, but to get to the center it is better to travel by car. The apartment is quite new, very clean and very cool despite the high outside temperatures. They also left us everything we needed to make breakfast. Overall a great experience, thank you so much!

Newly renovated apartment, cozy and comfortable. There were two of us, but it easily accommodates four people. We were greeted in person by Giovanni who was very caring and helpful. The beaches of Policoro can be reached in about 20 minutes by car, Matera in about an hour. Great point to visit the sights of the area. Recommended!

Francesco and his family were very kind and helpful hosts. The house is in a beautiful viewpoint very close to the pollen national park to be able to make various routes in nature even during the day. We were with our dog and the huge garden of the house was perfect for her too. Tidy house, equipped with all comforts. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

This is a great place to stay to check out the whole of the old town of Matera. One bedroom is fabulous, the kitchen is very well equipped and the bathrooms are fine. The second bedroom could do with some more furniture - a small table, bedside lights etc. if there are two of you one of you will get a much shorter straw (we flipped a coin)!

Very comfortable house, well-stocked and really clean. Friendly and helpful owner. The place is easy to find. Calciano doesn't offer much (apart from beautiful landscapes), but it's a good place to explore the area. In any case, we had a great time.

What can I say, starting from the assumption that nowadays finding people so humble and so good is really rare! My travel companions and I, at a time of extreme difficulty with our means of transport, asked Federica for which she did not hesitate to waste time, together with her father Mr. Senatro to come meet us to help us. They were super helpful and really kind, I HIGHLY recommend their super cozy and comfortable apartment. Despite the inconvenience, my friends and I were really happy and super satisfied! We stayed at Francesca‘s place for the holidays. Veronica, the local guest coordinator, was there to welcome me and my dogs and was available for any questions I had. I was surprised by the size of the apartment as it was a lot bigger than I expected. We had a good time for our holiday getaway to disconnect. I am sure this place is even more amazing for summer holidays. Definitely recommend.

I stayed here for one night and was thrilled! The apartment is very well cared for, with a simple but welcoming style, and everything was impeccably clean. It is ideally located, within walking distance of the historic center of Tricarico. The owner was really friendly, providing us with detailed directions and responding quickly to all our questions. A short stay, but one that left me a beautiful memory! Highly recommended for those looking for peace of mind and an authentic touch of Basilicata.

The apartment is very spacious and pleasantly cool, and an excellent base for visits to Matera and Gravina. It is located on the edge of the cozy centro storico of Altamura. Annamaria and Antonio are perfect hosts, helpful and have plenty of tips for restaurants and attractions. Absolutely recommended!

What a great place! The hosts were extremely friendly. The apartment is quite large-much bigger than the pictures can show. It was comfortable and clean and a nice place to stay in Highly recommend.

We spent 5 days in the accommodation. It is located in the quiet countryside, and above all perfect for shining throughout the tourist sites of the region. The place is quite recommendable for a family of 4 (I had read in a review that it was a little small for a family of four but it is not). Well equipped kitchen, everything was good for us, I would take over this accommodation without hesitation!

Overall- incredible. In a rustic building, but the space was very modern. The kitchen was stocked with all needed items and more. Same with the bathrooms. Lots of extra bedding. No complaints about the space, but the real star of the show was the location, animals, and friendly hosts. Hectares of farmland, with beautiful view of the sunset when it’s clear. There were dogs (very friendly), cats, sheep, a pig, chickens, and ducks and geese. The staff of the farm and Nicola were all easy to talk to and friendly. The dogs did a great job of keeping the property safe! It was fun to be surrounded by real life on the farm.

Great service, very good communication and very very clean appartment. Great pool with enough beds to relax. Swimming cap is required which keeps also the pool very clean. lovely welcome drink, breakfast cake, coffee provided. Just great!!

Our visit at Masseria Misossero was truly pleasant! After we have arrived to the place Miriam showed us the house and explained how to take care of the facility. The communication was clear and fast when we had any questions. We were happy about the overall cleanliness of the house. It is a beautiful area and we enjoyed the views every day. We loved the big pool. Thank you for the lovely stay!

It's a perfect place to stay for big group. Large kitchen, dining area and living hall. Giovanni had been a great host. Prepare breakfast every morning and responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Matera & Alberobello area.

House surrounded by countryside, well equipped, with everything you need for the kitchen, there is also a grill if you want, I only missed having a microwave. The house is clean, recycling is carried out, and in the courtyard you will find some cats to greet you, as well as having a piece of land with olive trees and other trees. If you want to relax, it's the perfect place!

This was our third visit to the property and it was exactly what we needed, as always. Beautiful surroundings, well-provisioned kitchen with plenty of space to eat and lovely large pool.

The loveliest house and the sweetest hosts in Italy! We were welcomed with the most amazing lunch of icy prosecco, various delicious dishes based on local produce from Puglia, as well as soft and tasty freshly baked cake. We had informed the host that we had a child of 3 years old and a 6 month old baby, and when we arrived, they had made sure to prepare changing pillows, high chairs, toys and toy blanket, hair bucket, crib, etc., so we had absolutely nothing to think about ourselves - to the very great pleasure of the parents. In addition, the host bought the sweetest gifts for our oldest child of 3 years when we checked out after 18 days in a luxurious and safe environment. We often had contact with the hosts, who really made us feel welcome and comfortable. They provided local recommendations for places to eat, sights, etc., and helped us book a table at a lovely local restaurant. All in all an unforgettable stay! 5 stars to Ottavio and Margherita. We will definitely be back!
