Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

Extremely welcoming even just for the conformation, hollow and rounded it looks almost like a mother's womb. The bathroom, although small, has a bidet and a shower. The small cave house has a separate entrance. It is a small underground room completely carved out of the tuff rock. The caves have their own particular microclimate that is regulated by heating in winter and dehumidification when necessary. In the outdoor space, furnished with a small table and chairs, you can meet and make friends with my kitten and my dog, a very sweet Border Collie. Staying in a cave is an experience.
