Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Sarlat-la-Canéda

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Christiane’s place is outstanding! Very clean and comfortable. She is a very warm and friendly host who goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. She sets out a lovely breakfast each morning to help get your day started. The location is a short distance from Souillac, a larger city. The location itself is in a beautiful forested area. I would highly recommend this location.

Christiane is the best. Excellent communication and very welcoming person! The appointment was initially scheduled for 3 p.m.; following my request, she kindly agreed to move our arrival forward to 2 p.m. This accommodation is very peaceful, close to Sarlat and plenty of beautiful places to visit in this beautiful department. Very clean accommodation. The description of the offer is totally identical to the reality of this rental and unbeatable value for money in the area! Chantal and Christophe are extremely kind hosts. Ensure a warm and friendly welcome. Breakfast is perfect too. Very attentive to our well-being, they offered us a cooler with frozen bottles to keep our small things cool. I highly recommend it and I even shared their site to recommend it to friends. We had an amazing stay with Chloe and Greg at their beautiful home in the countryside of the Dordogne. The location was peaceful and we had the best breakfast in France each morning on the terrace. Thank you both!

A perfect stay at Nathalie and Patrick's place. We stayed there for two nights: relaxing, with all comforts and even more! The house has been tastefully renovated. The pool, undeniable asset, very appreciable when returning from our outings, comfortable bedding, impeccable cleanliness and attentive hosts with a hearty breakfast with garden melon, homemade jams, etc. A fridge is available, much appreciated in times of heat wave, and there are even some cutlery for dinner outside when you want to avoid restaurants. A big thank you for the start of your stay in the Périgord, and good luck for your future projects!

Keiyuki and his friends were lovely and offered a consistent breakfast including: fresh croissant, and bread, orange juice and hot drink, homemade piece of cake, butter and homemade jam. The swimming pool with the view is great!

Emmanuelle is very friendly and provided us with her breakfast room for dinner because many restaurants were closed. The room is very nice and the breakfast is delicious and hearty (fresh bread and croissants, brioche, fruit etc.) A beautiful place, quiet, to visit the surrounding sights and cities.

We had a great time at Mathilde and Martin's. The place is sublime, the house very warm. The common areas are very very very pleasant to live in, you almost feel in nature while cooking. The huge table invites long discussions with the different guests of the house. It's modern, welcoming, soothing, bright, friendly. We were with our one-year-old baby. She was able to roam everywhere with peace of mind. Everything was provided to accommodate children. Thank you! And it was a great meeting with Martin and Mathilde. You've successfully made a very nice project of this house, well done! To sum up: we spent our stay wondering who we will come back with to spend a week or two. We loved it so much that it already makes you want to come back! Looking forward to it!

The accommodation is warm, bright, cozy and clean. You'll find all the amenities of everyday life. The setting is quiet, wooded and peaceful. Pets are nice. The dog will naturally take you on a walk around, she is a very pleasant GPS:D Jocelyne and Jean-Pierre are very welcoming. They are warm but discreet. The kitchen offered is of quality, they are professionals (literally)! Feel free to ask them for tips for ideas for activities! We had a wonderful time in this department and this accommodation is a perfect inking point from which to weave very nice adventures.

Beautiful place where we had the pleasure of spending two days. Also delighted to have met Olivier and to have had the pleasure of interacting with him. The breakfast outside is very good with local products and with an amazing view. The property is beautiful!

Accommodation surrounded by nature but not far from the village. A small private outdoor space, a large fireplace in the bedroom that must make it pleasant when you stay there in the wrong season , and especially a very comfortable kingsize bed are the assets of this rental. Hosts are present and available, and the welcome is warm.

We had a short stay of 3 days at Claire and Marc's estate. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the estate with the pool and spa, the well-equipped and arranged studio with stunning views on a cow field where the sun sets, beautiful! But also the meal we could have had one night. We enjoyed ourselves! A big thank you to Marc and Claire for their hospitality and kindness. We were super well received. A short break out of time in this very neat and easy to access place from the A20. A little more for the calm, the view of the valley the spa and of course the welcome of his Host Stephane very warm and responsive. We would highly recommend 😍
