Casa Sofia is an absolute gem! From the amazing remote and beautiful surroundings to the wonderful property managers, you will be in for a treat! We took advantage of the massages and Tico breakfasts, and they did not disappoint! Coffee and meditation overlooking the serene landscape was a little slice of Heaven. We toured Irazu Volcano, spent time at Termales Hacienda Orosi, and experienced downtown Cartago, including the market and the Basilica. We had a fantastic time everywhere! Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofia. Pura Vida!

Great place to stay if you want to go to the volcano. The house is very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and seems safe.

The apartment is amazing, very comfortable, the beds are very comfortable, Sergio gave us all the comforts to be able to get there. Chinese restaurant nearby, as well as a bakery and a grocery store. Everything was amazing and the place too

I had a wonderful stay at Laura and Oscar’s home in Cartago. This home is beautiful and spacious. It’s modern and equipped with Alexa smart features. The house is squeaky clean and comfortable and Laura and Oscar are friendly and answered any questions I had. They have put a lot of time, effort and love into this home and it shows. Their dog, Pat, is a sweetie and loves to keep people company. The home itself is in a quiet area and is gated and fully secure. Laura and Oscar live in the house next door on the same property and there is plenty of room to park a car if you’re driving. It’s a short walk into Cartago and is close to grocery stores, cafes and restaurants. Laura and Oscar were very flexible and accommodating to my plans and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!
