Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz la Laguna

This Airbnb is what Airbnb was supposed to be 10 years ago. It’s not just another property from a manager that you never see. Jean was very warm welcoming and welcomed us herself on our arrival. She was very proactive by giving us some tips from what to do, where to go or eat. She answered really quickly and helped us organized some massage sessions. The property is as described. The heated pool, the private beach and dock. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the property and that arriving there from San Marcos may be a little difficult because of the road. But in my opinion those aren’t a problem after you see how beautiful it is there. I hope I can return one day

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

This home was incredible! Not only is the location fantastic - private, right on the lake, easy to drive to, walkable to San Marcos - but it is decorated, furnished and staffed to feel like a luxury getaway. I would recommend taking the staff up on the option to have a chef and massage therapist come during your stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to returning.

La Casita del Lago was the perfect location for a gun and relaxing family trip. Lots of room for everyone, outdoor and indoor areas were comfortable and well designed. We used the grill and fire pit, hammocks and paddle boards. The best part was the support by the staff at the house, Rudy, Rosa and Maria were fantastic and they made our stay memorable. we will definitely come back!

Great place to stay for a decent price! Taxis come by every now and then so you might have to wait awhile. House was just as beautiful as the pictures.

This was a nice apartment in a local part of San Pedro, close to a couple of Spanish schools. It was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the beds were very comfortable with clean fresh linens. The best part was the above board service from our hosts. We were provided with eggs and bread when we arrived and they responded immediately to any requests. Highly recommend and should we return to San Pedro we would stay here again! Thanks Rosa for all your help.

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning home on Lake Atitlán. The views of the lake and volcanoes are truly breathtaking — photos can’t capture just how magical it feels in person. The house itself is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for spending a relaxing week. The kitchen is well-stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. It is a bit of a hike up to the house, but Ventura (the house manager), his son Randy, and Captain Martín made our arrival and departure seamless. In my opinion, as long as you’re physically able to walk up to the house on your own — about a five-minute uphill hike after taking a tuctuc as far as the street will take you — you’ll be totally fine. They provided plenty of help with bags and anything else we needed both on the way in and out, so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Restaurants and stores in town close early, so good to keep some food and snacks in the house. Once you arrive you won’t want to leave!

We had a lovely stay, the view is amazing and it’s very calm and peaceful, but still relatively quick to get to the centre of San Pedro (20 min walk). We would definitely come back!

This apartment is s great deal for staying in San Pedro. Easy check in, responsive host, 10/10 location, beautiful outdoor space, well priced. Kenny helped us get s shuttle directly to airport after our stay and always answered immediately any questions that we may have had. Perfect Airbnb for a few days in San Pedro.

Larissa’s place was beautiful! It was wonderful to wake up to such a wonderful view and sip coffee on the patio, watching the lake wake up. Larissa also had a wonderful guidebook with great recommendations! We felt very prepared going into the trip due to this guidebook. Highly recommend!!

Teva's place has a great location, right between Santander St and the ferry dock for the towns along the north shore. The location is also quiet, and you feel extra safe behind the perimeter wall. The unit itself is perfect for a couple/3 people for a few nights - it has space, plus a great balcony, plus the bathroom is a decent size. I would definitely stay there again.

The accommodation is exactly as described. The location in San Pedro La Laguna is perfect, close to many restaurants, bars, and the pier, so you can easily access the other parts of the lake. And as everyone has said, the view of the lake and mountains from the patio is amazing. And the patio has been well furnished, and is perfect for spending time with friends. I'd recommend this place 100%

Highly recommend! It’s a beautiful place to stay both inside and out. There are stunning views of the lake and volcanoes and the apartment and grounds were beautiful. Furnishing and design was modern and well thought out. Very easy to find and check in/out very smooth. Hosts and grounds man were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for us, quiet and beautiful, but still close to restaurants we could walk to. It’s also a quick tuk tuk ride into Panajachel and into Santa Catarina Palopo main town where there are other restaurants. Overall my stay was amazing and I would highly recommend, we travelled with 2 children and they also enjoyed the stay.

This place is just so cute and the garden is so beautiful. Plus it's got the best location. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to come to Pana. There are different size places and each of the different places are spacious with cute nic nacs and just gorgeous garden areas around the entire compound. I have nothing but good things to say about this air B N B listing . Plus it's priced very well

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay. The view of San Pedro from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! I ended up spending more time at the unit in the hammock for that reason. There is no A/C (as most accommodations in the area) but you can leave the windows open to cool down at night (I didn’t have any insect problems during my stay). The unit is situated between San Pedro and San Juan so you’ll have easy access to both areas via tuktuk. San Pedro is a loud nightlife area so bring ear plugs (also what other guests have mentioned in their reviews so I was aware when I had booked this). I’m not sure if there are any other spots that you could get the same view without the noise. The unit is outside of the main busy areas so there aren’t any restaurants nearby but it’s really easy to grab a tuktuk right out front for very little (10-15 GTQ). Clemente was also very kind and very responsive. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here.

Alejandro's place was great! We loved the 360 view and the outdoor shower. It was great seeing the sunrise from the balcony every morning! Host is very responsive and helpful as well. Something to note - the neighborhood has a lot of roosters crowing all night, and because the metal roof is not completely closed, it might be hard for some people to get a good night's sleep. By no means is this the place's fault though, but just to be aware if you're a light sleeper! Everything else was awesome, very clean and good amenities! Drinking water in the kitchen, warm showers, good working faucet, a desk to work at, a bench on the balcony! Power outlets were also abundant and there's a good working ceiling fan:) Thanks, Alejandro!

Excellent service, hygiene, clear instructions, excellent quality services, a little far from the living area but you could reach it in a tuktuk without any problem, very friendly Don Cirilo.

Stayed for 3 nights and loved it! Andrea is very responsive to messages and helpful. The place was beautiful and was perfect to watch the morning sunrise. It is about a 20min walk to town but she gives you info for a tuktuk driver who is also reliable. No issue with bugs or scorpions like I’ve seen in reviews for other hostels/airbnbs/hotels. Overall would stay here again if I return to Guatemala

The apartment is beautiful and very clean, the view is incredible, a whole landscape! We will definitely stay here again when we return. Cariva is a super host, very friendly and communicative. Sarah’s place was in an amazing location in Pana! A short walk away to literally everything, the best grocery store, shops, cafes, restaurants, and the docks. Her place feels extremely safe with a locking main entrance door to the complex after the cafe below closes at night. We felt so lucky to have this modern, clean, and comfy studio space in a modern and well-maintained complex to return to after so many adventures out exploring this incredible area. We worked remotely from here and the WiFi was very reliable other than when the entire town lost power for 4 hours during a storm. It was fun to watch the world go by from the window seats…we caught a few parades from there! We were so grateful to have air conditioning here as we visited when it was quite warm. There were a few nights where you felt like the live band nearby was literally inside the complex, but we were warned in advance and it was only on weekends. All in all, great place to stay in Pana!
