Vacation rentals with lake access in Santa Cruz la Laguna

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

This Airbnb is what Airbnb was supposed to be 10 years ago. It’s not just another property from a manager that you never see. Jean was very warm welcoming and welcomed us herself on our arrival. She was very proactive by giving us some tips from what to do, where to go or eat. She answered really quickly and helped us organized some massage sessions. The property is as described. The heated pool, the private beach and dock. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the property and that arriving there from San Marcos may be a little difficult because of the road. But in my opinion those aren’t a problem after you see how beautiful it is there. I hope I can return one day

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

This home was incredible! Not only is the location fantastic - private, right on the lake, easy to drive to, walkable to San Marcos - but it is decorated, furnished and staffed to feel like a luxury getaway. I would recommend taking the staff up on the option to have a chef and massage therapist come during your stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to returning.

La Casita del Lago was the perfect location for a gun and relaxing family trip. Lots of room for everyone, outdoor and indoor areas were comfortable and well designed. We used the grill and fire pit, hammocks and paddle boards. The best part was the support by the staff at the house, Rudy, Rosa and Maria were fantastic and they made our stay memorable. we will definitely come back!

Great place to stay for a decent price! Taxis come by every now and then so you might have to wait awhile. House was just as beautiful as the pictures.

Absolutely breathtaking. The photos truly do not do it justice. It is a magical home that I wish I could have stayed longer. Ryan & Byron were extremely communicative and made the trip very easy. Byron was able to provide contacts for private boats, food in town, tuktuks, and private massages that come to the house. They truly made the trip a dream. I hope to come back again and stay at Ryan’s home. Do yourself a favor and book this house!! You will not regret it.

This was a nice apartment in a local part of San Pedro, close to a couple of Spanish schools. It was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the beds were very comfortable with clean fresh linens. The best part was the above board service from our hosts. We were provided with eggs and bread when we arrived and they responded immediately to any requests. Highly recommend and should we return to San Pedro we would stay here again! Thanks Rosa for all your help.

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

The place has an amazing view — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly, without any delays. We had a lovely stay here on Lake Aitlan. It was so homely, Nico was very welcoming when we first arrived and throughout the trip, along with Venus and Mary - they were all so helpful. The views were incredible for the platform and so relaxing! All the villages were in easy reach via boat or tuk tuk. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to be surrounded by a lovely community in a peaceful location.

This apartment is s great deal for staying in San Pedro. Easy check in, responsive host, 10/10 location, beautiful outdoor space, well priced. Kenny helped us get s shuttle directly to airport after our stay and always answered immediately any questions that we may have had. Perfect Airbnb for a few days in San Pedro.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rocio's place, the views are absolutely stunning! It was so peaceful and we enjoyed the fireplace upstairs. Would love to return one day!

It's a very cozy place, with a spectacular view, better than in the photos. The facilities are very good. Highly recommended for relaxing and unwinding. We hope to come back soon

The accommodation is exactly as described. The location in San Pedro La Laguna is perfect, close to many restaurants, bars, and the pier, so you can easily access the other parts of the lake. And as everyone has said, the view of the lake and mountains from the patio is amazing. And the patio has been well furnished, and is perfect for spending time with friends. I'd recommend this place 100%

Our family agrees, our stay here was the best vacation we have ever had. The cottage was peaceful and clean and had everything we needed. We made plenty of ‘carne asada’ on the grill and swam in the lake a few times. The local people at both the Yacht club and in San Lucas Toliman were amazing. We recommend going to the market on a Sunday. It’s authentic and not geared as much toward tourism. We highly recommend staying here. You can sit on the porch and watch the lake.

a very nice and quiet place. with many public spaces and tranquility, it had an incredible view when you leave the cabin. The lack of exterior lights at night, especially during check-in, made it somewhat difficult. It was a bit dusty and had cobwebs. Using the facilities was somewhat complicated. The jacuzzi was empty and turned off, and the same with the sauna. The equipment for kayaking was all locked up. Every time I think that by not making a reservation directly with the accommodation, it feels like we are not important enough to be given that part of the service.

Casita del Sol is a very special place in Santa Cruz. I came to do some soul healing and the casita was the perfect place. Marcelo the guardian was very helpful during the stay. I especially enjoyed the quiet, surrounding nature, incredible views, and private garden where I could meditate peacefully. There are also 2 little kitties that came to say hello everyday. Loved my stay here, Pat was very responsive and helpful. Thank you

Great place! Absolutely loved the direct access to the water. The house is very cute and exactly like the photos. The steps to get to San Marcos can be a lot, but it was doable and really worth it in the end!

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..

Very clean, lots of amenities and access to the lake is the best within that particular Pueblo. Restaurant on premise made it super easy to get food, staff is all extremely nice

One of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed at. If you're on the fence, PICK THIS ONE, I swear. The location: close enough to Panajachel to take a $10Q tuctuc easily (Daniela's has recommendations of trusted drivers), but far enough to be away from the chaos. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. Better than the photos. The deck is the perfect place to do some yoga in the morning, or sip coffee overlooking the lake. Amenities: everything listed and then some. The bathtub is amazing. Paddleboards available for use at the private beach. I learned how to use an Italian coffee maker as well. Daniela was lovely, ask her about paragliding :) She was super responsive and helpful answering all of my questions about Pana, nearby towns, and best ways to get around.
