Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Cruz Island

We stayed here in Puerto Ayora that was a bit outside the main district, but the short walk into town was actually a nice way to explore the area. The value was truly amazing! Mari was incredibly accommodating, preparing the apartment for us on very short notice after another booking (on a different app) fell through. She even allowed us to wait in her living room while the apartment was cleaned, which was a huge relief for our family. The apartment was adequate for our short stay, comfortably fitting our family of five. Overall, a great option for anyone looking for good value and a welcoming host in Puerto Ayora. Highly recommend!

We visited in April of 2025. Having a comfortable space to spread out was truly great so 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms came super handy during out stay. The location could not be better: the fish market with cute sea lions and pelicans, restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream parlors, shops, main pier, tour companies and even a fantastic small local beach with lots of fish to snorkel with right from the shore are a short walking distance away! Jennifer is a great host, very responsive and proactive. She sent a taxi to pick us up from the ferry (you need to take it to get from the airport located on Baltra to Santa Cruz Island) and take us to the apartment. She also helped with recommendations and booking of 2 wonderful boat tours that were the best part of our trip to Galapagos. Jennifer provided detailed instructions on all the steps necessary to board the flight to Galapagos Islands. Overall, Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a success! If I could give 6 stars in my review, I would gladly do so! My friend and I found Casa Marina to be luxurious. It has four levels. The first level is the main salon which includes a beautiful dining area, a spacious living room, a fully-equipped large kitchen, a workout area, and a beautiful bathroom. It is simply gorgeous, with many of Celso’s beautiful photographs on display that capture the magic of the Galapagos wildlife and breathtaking scenery. The next level has the bedrooms which are well-appointed and individually air conditioned. We slept very well in super comfortable beds. The next level is the spacious terrace that overlooks Peurto Ayoro’s bustling harbor. Just steps away from Casa Marina Galapagos, we found a terrific place to eat, “The Rock”. They have the best craft beer and food and their service was always terrific. I hope to return to Santa Cruz with my wife. We will definitely stay at Celso’s place. Celso is the best Airbnb host I have ever had!

Es handelt sich um eine hervorragende Unterkunft um abzuschalten oder Zweisamkeit zu genießen. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt mehr als genossen. Die Hütte ist makellos und in sehr ruhiger Lage mitten im Grünen. Das einzige das bei der Buchung bedacht werden muss, der Mittelpunkt der Insel Santa Cruz liegt in Puorto Ayra (wichtig bei Buchung von Touren). Das ist von der Unterkunft eine halbe Stunde mit dem Taxi entfernt (einfacher Weg 15 bis 20 Dollar). Die Taxifahrer sind super, brauchen jedoch ein wenig Vorlauf. Wenn das kein Problem darstellt würde ich diese Unterkunft empfehlen, es ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

Encantadas is a lovely, light and airy studio - right near the Tortuga Bay trailhead and a short walk to town. Mayra gave a warm welcome and overview information 😊 It has a well equipped kitchen and access to a laundry as well (at no additional cost). Would definitly recommend staying here if coming to Puerto Ayora.

I loved that this Airbnb was in a local neighborhood, away from the tourist areas (though that area is easily a 15 walk away). We ate and shopped at local places and saved some money. Didn't get a chance to cook, as ingredients at shops actually cost the same as eating out (lots of locals places on the main avenue that offer good cheap food) but the kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean, lots of hot water, good AC and fast internet. Overall, good value for money!

Paola avait prévu notre arrivée et avait envoyé Jackson nous chercher. Une agréable attention. La maison est chaleureuse, elle possède même une terrasse bien agréable. On recommande vivement !
