Top place to complete your stay in Santa Cruz. Mateo responds to everything right away and helps you with everything. The arrival is fantastic by Mayra, after a long trip she makes sure you are immediately welcome. And the place is quietly located but still close to everything. An excellent place to stay! It's a fantastic location: super close to the main street and a short walking distance from tons of restaurants, the Darwin research center, several great beaches, and the main pier. The place was very clean and well-stocked with all the essentials, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The air conditioning worked well, which we really appreciated, and the WiFi was great. There's also a laundromat right across the street, which was very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Modern and spacious apartment in prime location

We visited in April of 2025. Having a comfortable space to spread out was truly great so 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms came super handy during out stay. The location could not be better: the fish market with cute sea lions and pelicans, restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream parlors, shops, main pier, tour companies and even a fantastic small local beach with lots of fish to snorkel with right from the shore are a short walking distance away! Jennifer is a great host, very responsive and proactive. She sent a taxi to pick us up from the ferry (you need to take it to get from the airport located on Baltra to Santa Cruz Island) and take us to the apartment. She also helped with recommendations and booking of 2 wonderful boat tours that were the best part of our trip to Galapagos. Jennifer provided detailed instructions on all the steps necessary to board the flight to Galapagos Islands. Overall, Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a success! Thank you, Jennifer!!!

George was incredibly attentive to our needs and super friendly, making us feel right at home! I loved that this Airbnb was in a local neighborhood, away from the tourist areas (though that area is easily a 15 walk away). We ate and shopped at local places and saved some money. Didn't get a chance to cook, as ingredients at shops actually cost the same as eating out (lots of locals places on the main avenue that offer good cheap food) but the kitchen was well equipped. The place was clean, lots of hot water, good AC and fast internet. Overall, good value for money!

We loved staying at the Dock House during our time in Puerto Ayora. It was very convenient to have access to the Ninfa Hotel for the amenities and breakfast available there. The house location is just a short walk away from the hotel but positioned very conveniently to the pier where we departed for all our tours and ferry. It was also close to the supermarket and local restaurants. We really enjoyed walking down to the pier in the evenings to watch all the sealife. The house is large and well equipped. The private yard with the hot tub, seating areas and hammocks was well enjoyed by our family when we needed some downtime after the long day tours. The bathrooms are updated and modern. They supplied a water bottle dispenser with drinkable water which was also appreciated. Overall, we think this was the perfect spot for our family of 5 during our stay in Puerto Ayora.

I loved our stay at Vinicio’s place. The apartment was just as described. Vinicio, was so welcoming he even picked us up from the airport, which we appreciated so much as we were traveling with our children. Vinicio, recommend local restaurants/things to do. I was very thankful for all the help he provided to me as we had left our computer behind and he helped us coordinate shipping it back to us. I would recommend Vinicio’s place and definitely would stay here again! Thank you so much for your hospitality and opening your doors to us! Leonor y familia.

We stayed here in Puerto Ayora that was a bit outside the main district, but the short walk into town was actually a nice way to explore the area. The value was truly amazing! Mari was incredibly accommodating, preparing the apartment for us on very short notice after another booking (on a different app) fell through. She even allowed us to wait in her living room while the apartment was cleaned, which was a huge relief for our family. The apartment was adequate for our short stay, comfortably fitting our family of five. Overall, a great option for anyone looking for good value and a welcoming host in Puerto Ayora. Highly recommend!

I stayed for 2 weeks at edgars place, i really enjoyed it. Edgar is verry friendly and helpfull, the place is nice and specially the rooftop is just amazing and of top of that you have hushy an verry friendly and kind husky :)

Took Maria’s advice to hire a taxi from the airport. Bring a lot of cash and small bills for the taxi. $1 per person. Or take the bus- 50 cents per person. The house itself is clean. There’s no AC so it was quite hot and humid in February. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The water pressure in the showers was good. You have to let it run a while to get hot water but once you do, it’s great. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect in the hot afternoons. The yard has a zip line and treehouse. Bikes were provided but we didn’t use them. The house is less than 10 minutes from town by taxi. To get the taxi we walked a block on a dirt road to the main road and put our arm out. Even at 5:45am we were able to hail a cab within 5 minutes. The taxis are Toyota trucks! We really liked that we were out of the hustle and bustle of the town. The roosters are loud in the morning so if you’re not used to that, bring earplugs. Don’t leave food out or you’ll have ants.

Sofia was genuinely the most amazing, friendly, warm and helpful host. i got sick during my trip and they were so so sweet and helping me with so many things! i highly recommend staying here :))
