Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sandpoint

Very beautiful home, great surroundings very peaceful, the host responded quick to any question we had. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. Jake and Kim ended up getting us in last minute because our other Airbnb had some issues. Things were looking pretty bleak but they came through and saved our vacation. While I didn't get a chance to really do any exploring since we were doing some skiing and ended up getting in while it was dark. What I did see of the river was awesome. I'll definitely be coming back with our extended family in the summertime to take advantage of the area. The place is quiet clean and comfortable. and the hot tub was a lifesaver after a hard day of skiing. Really hard to get out of 😅

I can’t say enough about this place. It is literally heaven on earth. Not only is the host extremely nice and easy to get in touch with, her space is AMAZING. Everything was clean, organized, she had everything you could need. One night we planned on going downtown Sandpoint and we opted to stay at the cabin to enjoy it because it was so cozy and enjoyable. We will be back! This place is an absolute must!!!!!

We loved this cozy air bnb! It was great for kids and adults. The place was clean, quaint and had everything we needed. We couldn’t figure out how to heat up the basement but our kids were more interested in the hot tub and playing in the rest of the house anyways. We used the available air mattress and it fit right at the same level as the couch downstairs which made for extra cozy movie nights for the kids! This was about an 8 minute drive from downtown sandpoint which was very convenient. Joey was very quick to respond to questions. The keypad on the front door gave us a bit of trouble but we made do (we didn’t reach out for help on this but I’m sure Joey could have helped out). We read about the train noise so we made sure to bring sound machines for each room. We loved having the fire pit too!! There were tons of board games too which was a nice touch. Light switches and such were labeled nicely as well as extra linens for the air mattress/futon if needed. We will be back!

Our stay here was lovely. The cabin has adorable seasonal decorations and the space was just right for our group of three. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub overlooking the river. Dave and Gloria were very nice, I will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This little slice of heaven was such a nice place to stay. The views were incredible, the home was cozy and extremely clean (which is a huge plus for me as you don’t find that often these days), the bedding was so comfortable (except if you want a softer pillow bring your own) and the shower was a plus with all the heads. The owner was so responsive, the instructions were clear and we did a very last minute booking which still went smoothly. I would stay there in a heartbeat next time I’m in the area.

Kayla is a great host - very responsive and friendly. Gorgeous views of the river and forrest beyond! House was very nicely stocked w/ the essentials for cooking meals. We're looking forward to visiting again during the summer when we can make use of their water toys and dock! Once we figured out the hot tub, it was glorious! Thanks for a great stay!

This is a great place to stay in the winter, given that it is just 30 minutes from Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Hottub. a great kitchen, and tons of places to sleep makes this a wonderful home for a group trip.

What a GEM! Dover Bay is like a scene from the Truman Show. Tucked away from the highway, it's located on the river and next to a park. Highly recommend the cabins with a view. We were in town for a ski weekend in January so I image it would be busier during the summer when the marina is open. Just 3 quick mile into Sandpoint. And worth the extra fee to bring your fur-baby too. I will be looking forward to staying here again.

Really enjoyed my stay at Dover Bay. Check in and check out was a breeze and the area is so beautiful. The host had a little package for the pup which was a nice touch. Loved it so much planning a trip with the family soon! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful location right on the water, extremely cleanly bungalow, and wonderful amenities. It’s a perfect place for a family getaway as well, we brought our 2 year old and she loved it! We ate lunch one day at the cafe on site and it was delicious and the staff was wonderful! Both the gym and pool were great as well. Will definitely be making this an annual trip!

Great place right on the lake and a block away from an awesome restaurant!! Cozy is the word for this cabin.

Very quiet bungalow with easy access to the water, parks, restaurants. It’s set back from the water with a row of others bungalows between. We, and or pup, were very comfortable. Property is very clean and well maintained. Owner was easy and quick to communicate with.

Excellent location and the cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. We will be back again.

Dave & Alirene (Al) were wonderful! They greeted us at the front door and welcomed us to their home. They gave great instructions and were happy to answer any questions. We really appreciated that they welcomed and loved dogs. Finding accommodations that accept pets is not easy. The kitchen was spacious, with a large island, to gather around. The home was grand, with a huge fireplace and comfortable furniture and a gigantic, beautiful fireplace in a large but cozy room. You must see it! The home is older but very spacious and charming. There were plenty of beds, bathrooms and showers for all-two couples, one single, and 2 young children. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The only thing I would change is possibly add a couple newer sheet pans, for the oven and a box grater for cheese grating. We never did find one-we could have missed it.

This place is incredibly clean! We loved the location. Beds were comfy. You can walk to Coolin.

Great place to stay! The home is beautiful inside, and surrounded by beautiful open space. The master bedroom was comfortable. The master shower is very luxurious with its multiple jets. Lots of closet space if you need that. The kitchen is very well furnished - good knives, multiple cutting boards, mixing bowls, measuring cups, utinsels, lots of plates/bowls/glasses/mugs, and serving dishes. It's great to have your crew sitting at the kitchen island while prepping a meal. The fireplace adds a warm ambience and warmth. The floors are polished concrete with heating coils so bring your thick socks or slippers to soften up the walking. The bunk room has 2 bunk beds = 4 beds. The game room has a pull-out bed that was judged to be "very comfortable". The 2nd bathroom has a double sink area and then a separated toilet & shower room, so it can handle all the people. There are two cool cats that live in the garage. They will greet you and want pets if you're into that.

The stay was amazing we were a little nervous due to it being surrounded by trees but it was amazing it felt safe super clean! She had good branded shampoos and conditioners as well as body wash! Plenty of towels lots of fun games plenty of place an amazing area for s’mores beautiful view outside with all the outdoor light it was super fun we will definitely be returning:) the host answer all my questions within mins of me asking she was super patient with my questions they answer the phone super fast she was so flexible with our arrival the manager was so great she helped us with some tap that was so needed for decoration such great people loved everything about the place:)

Our stay was great. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs. We had one beautiful sunny day where we got to sit on the back deck. My four year old granddaughter loved all the toys that were available to play with. Sheri was great-responsive and helpful. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

We will definitely book this Airbnb in the future! The best one we have had in Idaho for sure. Super friendly host. Lots of special extras. Everything we needed to cook. Our dogs loved the yard! Amanda was great to work with.

So cute, quiet and beautiful! Close to market, Roku TV ready was a bonus!! Firewood chopped and ready! Will stay again!
