Vacation rentals with a patio in San Juan

My time in Costa Rica was great but what made it the best experience was my Airbnb with Leidy she was absolutely amazing the entire way and very helpful and communicative. I can’t wait to stay at her property again. Definitely worth it. The place was beautiful and clean and it made me forget all about my own home 😂

The apartment is exactly as you see it in the photos - super clean, modern, uncluttered, very nice bathroom including the spacious shower with plants and lots of natural light. It was so nice having the secure garage available with the room. It's not always easy to find parking in San Jose, especially overnight, so it was great having the private garage. The hosts here are very responsive! Any time I sent a message, someone would reply within a minute or two. Check in is do-it-yourself following the thorough instructions form the host. It's a quick and easy process! The bed was comfortable and you get a nice view from the big window. Being right in the city, you will hear traffic noise at night, dogs barking, passenger trains - pretty typical urban noise. There are lots of great bars, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance.

This type of apartment is exactly what we consider ideal for long stays. The apartment is brand new, with all new items and plenty of comfort—from the bed and shower to the living room and kitchen. The condominium offers great amenities, such as a gym, swimming pool, game room, and an excellent coworking space with fast internet. The host was always very helpful, assisting us with everything we needed and answering all our questions. The location is also excellent: there is a supermarket very close by, several restaurants right across from the building, and a park just a few minutes’ walk away. The parking garage is great, and Uber arrives quickly, making it easy to get to the city center. In short, the apartment’s structure and everything it offers stand out. I hope all my future long stays on Airbnb are as good as this one.

Quiero dar las gracias a Luis por su hospitalidad, siempre estuvo atento a las dudas y respondía rápido de hecho sin que le solicitara ayuda él ya me estaba dando las instrucciones para facilitarme la llegada y claro que nos encantó el lugar. Nos recibió con un presente 👌🏻. Si regreso a Costa Rica seguro regreso al Airbnb de Luis. ¡¡Recomendado!!

Excelente alojamiento, el edificio es especial, cada puerta te lleva a un espacio diferente. Lo voy a recomendar y espero tener la oportunidad de volver con ustedes.

Omar was 100% the best host I’ve ever experienced from the quick responses to the helpful information advice I couldn’t have asked for a better stay I 100% recommend staying with Omar if you’re going to be looking for an Airbnb in barrio Escalante, it is close by everything and the staff in the building are extremely helpful. Will stay again 20 out of 10 experience.

The house was clean and very pretty inside. The host was super responsive and nice. It is a great place to stay if you're coming in on a late flight or leaving early morning. It was perfect. Only thing please note the gate to go out to the patio is just a gate there's no door so if you are not a nature person you will be a little scarred of sleeping in a home that has no back door just a gate it does have a lock though. You will get the feel of typical Costa Rica living. Also no Ac but the house felt cool with the fans..Loved it and highly recommend.

Great place. Being from the USA, it really made me feel immersed into the costa rica culture, while also feeling safe at home.

Clean and comfortable! I had to book this Airbnb very last minute so I truly appreciate the quick response I received. The house was very clean and the neighborhood felt safe.

El lugar es pequeño, pero acogedor, las vistas hermosas. Cuenta con bastante facilidades, aunque no cuenta con cocina en si, tiene muchos electrodomesticos con los que se puede cocinar algo si se quisiera. Lo unico es que esos dias se estaba trabajando en el lugar y personalmente si llegue a sentirme incomoda por momentos. Pero despues de eso es un lugar muy bonito y Kim es una super host, estuvo siempre contestando mis preguntas y dandonos indicaciones

Beautiful property! Our family had a wonderful stay. Marlen was a very nice host and responsive to all our needs. We would highly recommend staying here. You get the secluded mountain feel while being close to the airport.

El apartamento es lindo. Y está muy bien ubicado, frente al mall, cerca del aeropuerto, de la estación de buses... Mi único inconveniente es que sólo me quedé una noche y necesitaba descansar y la calle donde se ubica es muy transitada por lo que es bastante ruidosa. Pero vale la pena por la ubicación!

Federico’s place is airy, light and comfortable. It has a wonderful spacious back patio where we spent time talking and lingering over meals. And Federico was very supportive and responsive

Perfect landing spot in the city, fantastic facilities. Wish we had more days and would have stayed longer just to explore the building and surrounding restaurants.

El departamento es igual a las fotos, muy limpio, ordenado y estético. David siempre estuvo atento y dio instrucciones útiles. El condominio cuenta con muchas facilidades, además de la plaza que es muy completa. Me encantó el lugar.

Lymon is beyond exceptional as a Host and as an individual. Every time I sent a message to Lymon he responded quickly. The building is very secure with a guard at the front gate. Location is central and was just what I needed. I had just underwent major surgery. The second day at his flat I realized I needed support and help. I messaged Lymon via Airbnb - my crisis number at the time and within 30 minutes someone was at my door to help me! Edith, my angel, is so awesome! She truly is a gem; she helped me with everything in the condo and came by twice a day to make sure I was ok. I did pay her; that’s just normal. I am so very grateful and privileged to have met these 2 special souls. If you have any questions let me know!
