Lake house vacation rentals in San Francisco

As a family of 4 with 2 adolescent kids, we couldn't have been more pleased with our 3 days stay. Jim, the house manager who lives downstairs, played a big part in that. He was very helpful and friendly to everyone. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to stay in the Sunset district. Public transportation very near, good food and coffee, easy access to the beach... We felt like most of the issues mentioned in previous comments had been addressed, except perhaps the door codes. The shower is new and pleasant. The apartment is very convenient, the beds are confortable and the house has a lot of character. For the price, this is a gem and an experience you won't forget thanks to Jim!

Stayed here for just two nights to go fishing on the delta. The dock and slip for the boat was very well kept, the house was small but very cute. Upgraded bathroom, a.c. and tv worked well, small kitchen but all we needed and a nice size bedroom. The bed was older and stiff but linens were clean. The room is right on the road and you do hear the cars but there isn't much traffic on the small road. There are some rougher and run down areas near the house but the rental itself and direct neighbors are nice and well maintained. for us it was a perfect location to be on the water to take the boat fishing all day. The hosts were extremely kind, responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay again if i was coming with the boat for a fishing trip.

I booked super last minute, and Henry was great. Very chill. His place matched the photos exactly. Neat, clean, and the w/d was a nice bonus! Close to the lake and vegan options (Vegan Mob was amazing). Although I couldn't take advantage of it, I appreciate the 3:00 check-in and 12:00 check-out. Neighborhood is pretty quiet with an occasional dog barking. Street parking was available. I will definitely stay again. 💜

Li, is a fantastic home. I stayed at her place during my internship for almost 3 months. She is always helpful, proactive. It really felt like home for me. From the moment I arrived, Li made me feel welcome and at ease. Her warm hospitality and kindness made me feel like I was part of the family. Throughout my stay, she was always helpful and proactive, ensuring that I had everything I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. Li's home is truly a fantastic place to stay - it's cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The location is also perfect, with stunning views of the lagoon and easy access to public transportation. What really made my stay stand out, however, was Li's exceptional hosting skills. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had, and she went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. I got back home with so many memories. I look forward to come back here again!

A very lovely place, equipped with everything you can possibly need. Perfect location with the views of Mt. Diablo, and open sky. It was so peaceful! We were able to relax and unwind right away on the porch with a glass of wine. Sounds of nature surround you. Beautiful decor, comfortable, and super clean! Has all the extras including a sauna in the bedroom. The jacuzzi over looks the water and views. Lots of toys to play with. Fishing off the dock was fun. Thank you Preston, a Super Host! A lovely quaint home. I adore the backyard, especially in the mornings. Shower supplies and towels were provided, which was greatly appreciated. The house is private but the driving areas is difficult to turn around in, especially with the SUV we had rented. There’s a unit attached to the house that had a car parked there, I’m not sure if it was actively in use or not. Overall a good stay, mostly just a house to sleep and shower in.

Roble Rd was the perfect place for us to land for a very long stay for a botched all house remodel. The private, gated location was perfect as we had to park bicycles and two cars and my dog had more room to run than ever. The nearby Berkeley shopping and restaurants were wonderful - it's a great location and a very nice house....

Lovely peaceful 1 br cozy unit w large veranda settled in the hillside. Eucalyptus scented breezes and backdrop of nearby park preserve a great refuge from hectic world below. Very accessible and convenient to get back and forth while on call at nearby hospital. Police substation at base of hill and peripheral location near Chabot Lake Park adds to feeling of secure location. Reconfirm entrance instructions, Meg is a very helpful and caring hostess.

Great apartment, spacious and comfortable with lots of light. Quiet location close to the lake. Great attention to detail: Jane's place had extension cords on each side of the bed and even the dental kits in the bathroom.

Emily’s house is beautiful and was a great place for our family of 3 to stay for a few nights. Our toddler loved the toys, books, trampoline, and the kid-sized picnic table in the backyard, where we ate many of our meals. The adults enjoyed the short walk to the many excellent restaurants on Park Blvd, the simple and elegant furnishings and decor, and the Samsung Frame TV. Emily was an excellent and responsive host. We will definitely consider staying here on our next visit.

I had a great stay! The space was very clean and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Mia was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay, making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Jiuling is an amazing host and her place was wonderful. Her place was very neat and clean and truly enjoyed staying at her place. She also recommended places to visit nearby and visiting salt pond A8 was the best moment i stayed during this trip. We really enjoyed our stay at Fouad’s lovely house. It is charming, tastefully furnished and full of every amenity you can think of. As well as lemon trees and flowers in the garden, a cute neighborhood and beautiful views across the bay to San Francisco. Six stars.

The house was exactly what we needed for three people. Location is very convenient for us and everything we needed was available in the kitchen. The owners are very nice and so are the neighbors!
