Easy on-street parking (yes, it's true!) with time-of-day restrictions (Our side of the street has street cleaning on Thursdays 9am-11am and across the street is on Wednesdays 12pm-2pm.)

My need was very basic - a nearby place to crash after a late party instead of long drive home. I’m grateful Linda’s was available on such short notice. The room is welcoming and super clean, and the bed luxuriously comfortable; I was exhausted but also wired after a full day of rally and music jam! Linda kindly offered parking in driveway as long as I moved the car by 8 am, but I parked a couple of blocks down and felt fine walking to the address at night. Street was silent and empty. In Bayview you do have to be aware of surroundings and not, for instance, look lost or leave anything in your car - which Linda makes clear in detail in her guest guide. The home and room are extremely secure, and seem a fine base for visitors with car, carshare, or nearby buses. Great to know about for another time! Sorry that after entering quietly as a mouse at near midnight I couldn’t resist greeting pup, causing excited noise - a further testament to the home’s safety. :-) A+++

Within a large hotel, so everything was probably the same as any other guest although the Airbnb room is the same room. Fantastic location, felt completely safe, major shopping and pedestrian area right off street with cable cars and bear Bart line and all public transportation in city. Bed was extremely soft and squishy -- pillow top on a soft matress -- so if that's what you'll like, you'll think it's great. If you need a firm sleeping surface, probably not a good fit.

Brenda was a fantastic host - Greg was also awesome! The bedroom, bath, and house was so comfy and clean. She gave great recommendations and we loved all of the places we ate at and walked to. If we ever travel to San Francisco again, we are definitely staying at perfectly located castro!

Qiaoneng was very flexible , she let me check in a little earlier and on the day of departure she let me keep my luggage at the place while I explored city until later in the evening since my flight was at almost midnight. The place was phenomenal, exceeded my expectations! It was very clean just as in pictures! She also had a few goodies for her guests in kitchen which was very nice (: also loved that we could use washer and dryer for a few dollars to take back home clean clothes !!! Thank you so much Qiaoneng , you were so accommodating and would definitely stay again !
