The interior consists of a lofted queen size bed with a large skylight for stargazing, as well as a lounge space with an oversized leather sofa. The highlight of the cabin is the outdoor space. Beside a pocket park on the edge of the Pacific ocean, this Suite offers 600 sq. ft patio and 234 sq. ft Suite but book Master Suite (1400 sq. ft total) if you need more space. Tide pools are about 100' away. Bluffs are too dangerous for kids but ok for surfboards. Two person spa, dining table, chaises await. Beach access from park, sandy beach one quarter mile away. En suite/king bed with Espresso and microwave, frig/freezer, electric fry pan & dishes. You can throw stones into ocean from here.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.
