The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

Flaming sunsets and moonlight silvering the ocean, plus rocky tide pools accessed from the park next door. Blocks away, Garnet nightlife is wild. Walk to Wayfarers bakery or Paradisea restaurant. Grill & kitchen sink. Watch the ospreys! No blinds yet, but no one can ever see you.

This newly built guest suite at our home sits above our garage high up on a hill in one of Encinitas' oldest neighborhoods: Olivenhain. Despite its charm, it's only minutes away from countless shops and restaurants but most importantly: The Beach. The toughest decision you'll have to make while here is whether to go to Cardiff by the Sea for the day or Moonlight State Beach, often ranked one of the best in the country. Olivenhain also has an incredible "dark sky policy."
