Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Charles

My family and I have stayed in airbnbs all over America and Europe. We were so impressed with this home. The details in decoration, the cleanliness, the beautiful architectural detail. This place is walking distance from the waterfront Main Street. It’s full of great places to eat and shop. We loved staying here!

A beautifully, tastefully remodeled older home very close to downtown, Main St, Katy Trail and the Missouri River. This home has a modern kitchen and bathrooms while still maintaining the aesthetics and charm of an early 20th century home. Everything was well appointed: Plenty of dishes, utensils, towels and bath and kitchen amenities. Living room had lots of comfy couches with recliners and a large flat screen. Huge dining table, perfect for large groups. Backyard was immaculate. Host went out of their way to accommodate us. We've stayed in several places in St. Charles, this is, by far, the best, hands down.

This place is the definition of charming. We truly didn’t want to leave. We felt perfectly comfortable and well situated with in the quaint town of St. Charles and also had super easy access to the highway to go into St. Louis for some sight seeing. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel at home. We PLAN to stay here again!

This was my first Air BnB rental and I could not have asked for better. Andrea was amazing and her house is adorable. The location is two blocks from the Katy Trail and everything you you need or want is in close proximity.. The house was more than what we needed (only my husband and me) but the upstairs adds more space for families. If you are going to St. Charles, I highly recommend the Frenchtown Inn!

Anna’s place was great, awesome location and so close to everything. Stayed here with our 5-yr old and 4-mo old, super easy and convenient. Definitely recommend!

This hidden gem in the area is a great place to stay! It’s conveniently located and surrounded by walking trails. Local restaurants are just a stone’s throw away. It’s one of my favorite spots to rent, and Daniel is an excellent host.

Wonderful Oasis on a quiet neighborhood street. We very much enjoyed this property for the stylish decor, helpful communication and recommendations that our host, Sean, provided. We easily checked ourselves in and felt right at home. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the attention to detail stood out to us. Sean was an attentive host, checking in from time to time to see if we needed extra coffee pods or such. We can highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you.

It was a great stay and felt safe and comfy! We tried one of the local food recs, Cafe Piazza, and it was really yummy! Caitlin was communicative and helped with anything we needed!

Kathleen's apartment was perfect for my 3-day stay. Very clean and noticeably comfortable in every way, the apartment had everything I needed, including good lighting and ample workspace. Kathleen is a thoughtful and responsive host--a pleasure to work with.

We were popping in to have a good place to sleep before continuing on our road trip… not far from getting off & on the highway + close to some good places to eat!

Perfect place! Perfect location the hostess was very accommodating for our late arrival and late depart and we slept so good in the comfortable clean quiet accommodations!

John's place was good for our 2 nights in St. Louis. We were able to walk to a coffee shop at the corner for breakfast on our first morning there. A tornado hit the area on our 2nd day so we were not able to stay. John offered to reimburse us for the second night. Good host, good location.

Smaller space but perfect for two, close to the city was great for getting to and from attractions.

Thoughtful, generous host. The space was cozy and comfortable after a busy graduation weekend. Great location—easy Uber access and walking distance to restaurants and Whole Foods. The well-equipped kitchen was a nice bonus.

Our stay was very comfortable! We had no problems checking in, the home was well-appointed and well-maintained, and we loved the location on the Loop. Very glad we stayed!

Exceeded my expectations! Beautiful view of River, could walk anywhere, loved the front patio and high Adirondack chairs so you can see over railing! And 4 of them. Very clean, felt new, would definitely stay there again and always quick response!! 5 star rating!! Be sure and grab any supplies, good, water, creamer, before you get to Grafton as there are no grocery stores! And limited good restaurants but the place was great!

Danny was great host, very responsive. Location was near Lafayette Square, which we wanted. Easy check in and out, will use again!!
