We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

A nice surprise much better than in the photos , this pretty stone house in nature is nicely decorated , combining high-end furniture, modernity and the charm of this old Perigord house. The pool area is beautiful and very comfortable we enjoyed these few days with family as a family

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

We really loved our two week stay and hope to return for a month next year. Didier and Christine are charming hosts, helpful and fun. The house is characterful and comfortable. The pool is great for doing laps and is shared with the three other gites in the small complex. The location is perfect, rural yet only 6 minutes' drive from Beynac. There are lovely forest walks. We found it so peaceful and relaxing.

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Our stay at the beautifully renovated and well appointed stone gîte was very pleasant. It is surrounded by extensive gardens including a clean and private pool .Sean and Bridget gave us a warm welcome and provided us with recommendation for places to go and things to do. What a great place to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside.

House with lots of character, very well-equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Great place for a great relaxing time. It is a great and homely furnished home. Lots of privacy, and beautiful views from really any space! We immediately felt at home. At the beginning we had a request to Nathalie, which was immediately arranged for us, really great. In short: highly recommended, also because it is a perfect base for the area between the rivers Dordogne and the Vésère, near the beautiful town of Sarlat.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

Lydie, our host, was absolutely discreet, full of good advice and attentive to any request. A nice gourmet touch on our arrival. Perfect stay to repeat as far as we are concerned.

We were warmly greeted by Adriano and Maria. Their son will translate if you don’t speak French, but fortunately I speak a little so it was like being welcomed by friends. The house is newly renovated, immaculate, well equipped, and they left us fresh flowers, strawberry jam, mineral water, and chocolates. Love the Nescafé pod machine. It is a 5 minute walk into gorgeous Sarlat. There is secure parking and/or a garage from the adjacent street. A table, chairs and umbrella in the yard by the front door are available and two recliners in the garden. Adriano also rents out the other half of the house on Airbnb, but it is totally separate and we had to go out of the way to meet our neighbours. Location is very quiet. There are so many beautiful villages, stunning countryside and chateaux around Sarlat you find it difficult to do everything and enjoy the accommodation. This is one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in.

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

We wanted to thank Daniel for his welcome and for a pleasant stay in Sarlat-la Canéda. The information to access the space is very clear. The accommodation is well located, close to the historic city center and the main sites. The interior is clean, well maintained and matches the photos. The neighborhood is very quiet, which allows you to rest after long walks in the beautiful surroundings of this wonderful city!. We recommend this place.

A really fabulous place to stay in a peaceful rural hamlet in perigord region. Julie & Vincent were great hosts & made us feel very welcome. Close to a number of beautiful towns & villages, with loads to do & see. The accommodation itself is very charming and a great place to unwind & relax. The local Sunday market in St Cyprien is a delight, with every kind of local produce you could imagine, live music, crafts etc. and there was a real buzz about the place.

We had a pleasant time at the red studio, Evelyne is a very friendly and accommodating host. We are delighted with our stay and have more than enjoyed this peaceful place where our 2 dogs and ourselves were able to walk in nature.
