What a wonderful place Sunshine Cotrage is and Naomi is a fantastic host. The cottage was spotless, excellent quality throughout and the projector in the bedroom is top notch. Wirksworth was great, recommend the small, private cinema, The Feathers, Hope and Anchor and le Mistral. The chippy was brilliant as well. The Wirksworth circular walk was easy going as well. Loved it!! Thanks Naomi.

As a hen party of 12, we had an amazing long weekend at Sally's house. There was safe and ample parking for all the whole group and we were blown away by the surroundings. The views were gorgeous and we had a lovely walk round the nearby fields and public footpaths to a great local pub. The house was spotless, and more stunning than the photos. The house felt like a home whilst also feeling luxurious and everyone loved their rooms and the communal areas. The house had so many thoughtful touches and we especially enjoyed the easy to use hot tub. Massive thank you to Sally for being a great host - responsive, helpful and allowing us early check in to decorate for the bride too. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Thank you so much!

This is a lovely cottage ideally placed to explore places of interest in the area. Jon always responded promptly to any queries, and the jar of homemade jam he left for us was a nice touch.

Jane's place was a great base for my visiting family / friends in Nottinghamshire. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing accommodation, I booked this for our family (10 of us) so we were all together for my sisters wedding nearby this was my first time using Airbnb and could not find a fault at all, check in was easy, the place is so spacious at no point did we feel too cramped the outdoor space is great the information pack left for us was great and came in handy for the day after wedding as we all felt a bit worse for wear Thank you

We rented the house as a base for a reunion of five, senior citizens. It looked fascinating from the pictures and so it turned out. There’s plenty of space and the house is well equipped for eating and drinking. We didn’t use many of the extensive collection of music and games but thoroughly enjoyed the pool and darts. Matisse was very prompt with her communications and wanted to make us feel at home, we even took in packages and chatted with the bin men!!! Local shops and a pair of pubs just a short walk away and an easy trip into town. All in all an excellent venue for our needs.

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

I enjoyed my stay at Lola's. It was a nice, clean, wonderful stay. Lola was a great host. I will definitely return on my next visit to Leicester.

Steve and Lisa’s place is a total gem and like an oasis in the middle of the village. The instructions were spot on & everything was as described. In many respects it was underplayed as the property was way better than the description. The annexe could have slept more people as the lounge was massive, and to have a pub on site (closes 8pm) and another 200 yds away was just the icing on the cake.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. The communication and instructions from the host were amazing from the get go. The cabin was really cute, with a spacious hot tub and surrounded by nature. I adore the honesty shed as it provided relevant supplies for the stay. It was extremely peaceful and would be happy to come again!

Enjoyed a beautiful stay with my boys, who adored the pod and bunk beds. Peaceful setting, very easy to switch off and just spend time together. Sarah and Paul were wonderful hosts, happy to resolve any issues. Very thoughtful touches throughout the pod, and surrounding grounds to create a fun break, a field for the kids to play in with outdoor games, fire pit complete with lighting supplies/wood and even forks to toast marshmallows! We are already planning our next trip back! Thank you for a fab break and creating such an experience :)

We stayed at Orchard Stables for 1 night. When we arrived (which was late due to motorway accident traffic) we were welcomed cheerfully by Ian, who gave us lots of helpful info about the cabin and hot tub. Upon confirmation of our rough arrival time which was already on the later side, Cathy offered to pre-light our hot tub which would save the 2 hour wait for it to heat up. Much appreciated! Once we’d settled in, we walked to the centre of the village (5-10 mins) to find some food and drinks, there are plenty of options for both. When we returned the tub was still 50°c, but easily sorted by adding cold water from the tap. All lights and jets worked nicely, we spent around 2 1/2 hours in it before going inside. In the cabin, we didn’t require much with us arriving late and leaving early-ish, but it had everything we needed. The bed was a little on the firmer side but this is purely personal preference. I’d highly recommend staying here, we’d happily return!

What a great find, we loved staying at Melissa's place. It was so clean, so stylish and classy. The fire pit, BBQ and log burner hot tub were all in use and that, coupled with a walk around their gorgeous land, watching the baby goslings march by in the morning was exactly what we wanted and more. We'd 100% go back, in fact we are already talking about it! Also Melissa and her mum Chrissie were lovely and very responsive - thanks for a great stay guys!

We stayed at Marmalade Cabin for 3 nights with our 12 year old daughter and dog. The cabin is so beautiful and peaceful, I can't recommend it enough. Simone is lovely and very helpful. Thank you ever so much, we definitely want to return!!
