Hurmaava pieni hirsimökki ylitti kaikki kaikki odotukset! Mökkiä oli remontoitu ja sisustettu hyvällä maulla, kaikkialla oli erittäin siistiä, eikä tavaraa ollut liikaa. Grillasimme ja saunoimme pitkän kaavan mukaan. Näimmepä yön hämärässä myös elämämme hienoimmat revontulet! Heittämällä paras AirBnb-kokemus, suosittelen erittäin lämpimästi! Vous recherchez un chalet cosy en pleine nature mais avec tout le confort, sauna en plus et des vues imprenables sur la rivière gelée et la forêt enneigée, n'hésitez plus! Loin du tourisme de masse de Rovaniemi et tout près de la belle balade à Auttikongas ( je recommande la soupe et les délicieux gâteaux au Café tenu par Minna) le chalet est aussi sur la route vers l'extraordinaire parc naturel Riisitunturi ou encore Korouoma connu pour ses cascades givrées ou enfin le parc animalier Ranua! Il vous faudra louer une voiture qui sera fournie avec pneus cloutés, aucune crainte! Notre séjour s'est fini en apothéose avec les aurores boréales vertes vues du chalet! Le sauna après les randos est aussi un vrai atout. Minna est d'excellent conseil pour vos sorties. C'est sûr, nous reviendrons !

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

Mökki vastasi täysin kuvausta. Viestittely Jarin kanssa onnistui nopeasti ja vaivatta. Palju oli ihanasti esilämmitetty ja hän olisi tuonut lisää puitakin meille tarvittaessa. Mökki oli siisti ja meille kaikki tarvittava löytyi.

Wer seine Ruhe möchte ist hier absolut richtig! Eine super schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft mit eigener Sauna direkt an einem See. Es gibt zwar zwei weitere kleine Blockhütten in der direkten Nachbarschaft aber man fühlt sich dennoch ungestört. Bei unserer Ankunft hat Juho uns alles erklärt weswegen der Aufenthalt auch insgesamt ohne Probleme verlief. Würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen und können sie absolut empfehlen! Wichtig ist nur, dass es kein fließendes Wasser und keine Dusche gibt. Man kann das Wasser aber ohne Probleme selbst an einem Brunnen pumpen und in der Sauna erwärmen. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen!

Le due host sono estremamente gentili e ti fanno sentire a casa. Il cottage è fornito di tutto ciò di cui si possa avere bisogno. La sauna è un plus straordinario, provvista di tutto. Il luogo è incantevole, nella pace assoluta, con un panorama mozzafiato perfetto per osservare l'aurora.

The best A&B ever ! This is amazing place when you are close to nature , and have all modern necessities. Main building is so cozy and well decorated and furnished with open plan , our family enjoyed spending time together. Sleeping cabin was very cosy for night , although we spend most of our evenings in Igloo and saw ye most beautiful Aurora light display. It was unbelievable ! We have used teepee with open fire for most of our dinners , it’s so much fun and felt so cool doing with our kids . Our kids (4 and 6) could have enough of sledding down the little hill just next to the sleeping cabin, they had so much fun ! I have to admit We have joined them and had a great fun! Sauna has the most wonderful views over the lake and woodlands , it felt almost surreal being inside and enjoying some heat ! Overall - we can’t wait to be back ! We were just at the end of the winter season , but very lucky to have enough snow around. This place is truly magical !

Wir hatten im Mökki eine super Zeit! Es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön! Mitten in der Natur konnten wir gut entspannen. Die Lage ist richtig toll direkt am See (das heißt natürlich auch matschige Wege im Wald bei Tauwetter, Achtung bei der Autowahl). Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Mit dem Auto sind gut Wanderrouten erreichbar. Alexandra war sehr freundlich in der Kommunikation und konnte uns viele Tipps geben! Der Checkin/Checkout waren problemlos. Wir hatten einen hilfsbereiten Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Urlaub dort war den Preis definitiv wert. Immer wieder gerne!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit bei Jani! Ganz ruhig gelegen, tolle Sauna und Pool draußen und wir konnten die Polarlichter fast jeden Abend bestaunen :) Jani war immer erreichbar und hat sich erkundigt, ob alles nach unseren Vorstellungen ist.

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, abgeschieden und mitten in der atemberaubenden Natur. Die Umgebung hatte es uns wirklich angetan. Wer Glück hat kann Rentiere und Nordlichter direkt von der Terrasse, der Sauna oder dem Whirlpool aus beobachten. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet – es war wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Ausreichend Handtücher, genug Feuerholz, kuschlige Decken & eine Spülmaschine. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Es war wunderschön. Wir waren mitte April 2025 in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist schön in der Natur gelegen und trotzdem ist Rovaniemi mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Wir wurden noch mit einer neuen Sauna auf dem See bzw. Eis überrascht. Es ist traumhaft in der Sauna und dem angrenzendem Wintergarten zu entspannen. Alles was man braucht war da und es war die perfekte Unterkunft um mal raus zu kommen und mitten in der Natur zu sein. Das man um ins Badezimmer zu kommen kurz raus musste, hat uns nicht gestört. Das Badezimmer ist direkt neben der Eingangstür. Wir würden immer wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Our Christmas stay was truly magical! The location was perfect, with snow-covered landscapes and an unforgettable view of the Northern Lights. The added bonus of a sauna made the experience even more special. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing kick sleds for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Everything was perfect—exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

Ha sido una estancia muy agradable en la cabaña de Alexey. El alojamiento tiene todo lo que se indica y es muy cómodo. Lo único que cabría destacar es que a veces en coche el acceso puede ser complicado pero las máquinas quitan la nieve periódicamente.

Todella ihanat ja viihtyisät puitteet. Mökki oli siisti ja myös todella kaunis niin ulkoa kuin sisältä, kuten myös koko Luoston kelokyläalue. Ikkunoista avautui kauniit näkymät tunturiin. Hiihtoladulle pääsi kävelymatkan päästä ja muutkin Luoston palvelut vain lyhyen matkan päässä. Iso plussa myös mahiksesta tuoda mukana lemmikki, kissani viihtyi erinomaisesti mökillä kuten mekin! Suosittelen rauhallista luontomatkailua arvostavalle. Kiitos myös majoittajalle, kommunikaatio toimi ja puitteet oli mitä parhaimmat! :)

Il soggiorno in questo piccolo cottage è stato davvero piacevole. La casa è accogliente, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort essenziali. La zona è tranquilla, perfetta per chi cerca un po’ di pace e natura. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio a chi vuole staccare la spina e godersi qualche giorno in serenità.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Blockhütte in Rovaniemi war einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft hat uns von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert – sie war sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (sogar die kleinen Extras wie Kaffee, Tee). Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Rovaniemi, sodass wir alles problemlos erkunden konnten. Ein riesiges Lob an Tiina und Juho, die uns herzlich empfangen und während des gesamten Aufenthalts schnell auf Fragen reagiert haben. Die Tipps zu lokalen Highlights waren Gold wert – wir haben uns wie Einheimische gefühlt! Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die gemütliche Atmosphäre und die liebevollen Details, die die Unterkunft zu einem echten Zuhause auf Zeit gemacht haben. Erittäin viihtyisä majoitus tunnelmallisen kelorivitalon päädyssä. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi majapaikasta, myös kokkaukseen. Kiitos, Jussa! Paljon mökkejä lähistöllä, mutta alue kuitenkin erittäin rauhallinen. Pyhän palvelut kävelyetäisyydellä. Myös kansallispuiston reitit lähtevät läheltä. Isokurulle iso suositus, jos sääolot sallivat.

Johanna and Matti were very nice, helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what things we could do in the area. They helped us out with reaching some nearby destinations, because we arrived without a car. The Husky-Farm, that was close by, was really nice and being able to feed the reindeer and alpacas on Johannas farm was another highlight. The cottage itself was the perfect place to stay. It was cozy, privat and provided everything needed. We enjoided the sauna and even were able to see auroras directly from the cottage. Over all the stay there was beautiful and I can only recommend it :)

Viola and Pertti are very friendly host, always available in case of need of support or questions. The house is cozy and warm as it has central heating as well as a fire place. It is well equipped with everything necessary. The temperature of the heaters can be regulated. The outside toilet is just next to the house, easily accessible even with - 16 degrees and very hygienic. It's possible tu use the sauna and even to take a shower there. All in all highly recommended hosts and location. Thank you for everything, we will be back! :)
