Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Perfect size cabin for 2 with a private hot tub. Cabin was very clean with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Clear instructions and a friendly host made for a very welcoming experience! Highly recommend!

We are a group of 3 families visiting the gold country on spring break. The house is just beautiful sitting on perched hill overlooking an open field. We woke up to an amazing view every day. I especially enjoyed cooking breakfast with the children in the bright open kitchen. There was plenty of space for just 8 of us. I also appreciated the bedroom with 2 bunks so all the kids get to stay in the same room. The location is private yet close enough to groceries and local eateries. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property with our large family. There were plenty of activities for the kids and the host was incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and easy to reach. A couple of things to note: there is a large wooden staircase separating the house which made it a bit tricky with the real little ones and one of the full-size beds is in an open space without a door. These weren’t issues for us but might be worth considering for others. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and we’re so grateful to the host for their kindness and attentiveness!

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

This is my second time staying at May's place and it is exactly as I remember it, breathtaking upon entrance. This time I brought my partner and she was blown away by the incredible experience. Most notably, sipping champagne in the spa, surrounded by trees, a rushing creek, singing birds, and the sun's rays painting the forest on the hill opposite us. Truly can't be beat.
