Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rochester

Loud construction noise during this trip, since neighboring house is getting sided, but that’s just the luck of life. This is a great spot – our favorite whenever we come back to Rochester!

Very nice house. Well equipped, spotlessly clean, excellent instructions. Location great near to my family in a lovely quiet and central area. Near to everything. Have already booked again twice for the coming months. Ila is a great host highly recommend

We had wonderful stay at Emily’s place. It was within 15 mins of the Mayo. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive.

This house was perfect and Hana was so kind and helpful. We were traveling with our 14 month old and everything we could have needed was provided. It was such a nice place to go to after long days. We'll plan to stay here again when we have Mayo appointments.

This place is tremendous. Pamela’s home feels so awesome like you are on a luxury vacation but so comfy it feels like home! Literally everything you could need or want. Everything is top notch. No cut corners here. From the furniture, the bed and beddings, TV, soft blankets, the view!!! I could go on and on. The kitchen is perfection. Modern and all the pots, pans, silverware etc are upscale. Heavy duty and a breeze to use and clean! The kitchen was so fun to cook in! The deck upstairs has a beautiful view and a really cool huge table: The theater and game room was so fun. The TV is ginormous… we had a blast up there. The themed rooms are done so nicely and the beds are big and comfy! The master bedroom has a huge closet and the connecting bathroom is a fantastic. The heated floor tiles are a dream! The garage is huge and the neighborhood is lovely Do not hesitate to book this place, it is exceptional and the host is wonderful and very accommodating. A+++

We had a nice, peaceful time. The home was as described and well appointed, especially the kitchen. There was a little hiccup when the fridge needed replacing but Xiaoming had a replacement there in less than 8hrs! Communications were always prompt and clear. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. A+++, highly recommend!

This home was everything and more! If you're looking for a peaceful home with beautiful surroundings...look no more! Seriously. :) The home was SO clean, VERY well stocked (we needed NOTHING during our stay), in a quiet neighborhood, and plenty of space for a family to spread out! Also, nice deck to wake up and have a cup of coffee while watching the wildlife - we saw deer, birds, rabbits and squirrels. Our host, Nils, was both helpful and kind without "over communicating" as some hosts can. ;) Clear and easy instructions without over complication's. Our 3 children ages 8, 9 and 11 all enjoyed the ping-pong table inside and corn hole outside! There were also PLENTY of board games and books to keep them busy! This home is well worth the price.

Perfect location about a 10-minute walk from Mayo, a grocery co-op, and a dozen great restaurants. Mei's place looked exactly like the photos and was spotlessly clean. Having a washer and dryer and fully functional kitchen was a great benefit for a week-long trip. I would stay here again.

We loved this little apartment! Felt like home and great place to just relax after all the appointments and testings we had to do at Mayo. Would 100% rent this place again in the future.

Awesome place! We stayed for almost two weeks while a family member was at Saint Mary’s. It was so close, and saved us the stress and money of parking daily at the hospital. Britt was very responsive when I had a question, and provided clear instructions for checkin/out. Great experience, and would definitely stay again!

Highly recommend this space and host. Clean and well organized upon arrival. Clear and detailed instructions for everything, along with local recommendations. The backyard is beautiful and we saw so much wildlife during our stay. Birds, otters, woodchucks, deer and more. Walking distance to quarry hill park which is lovely. There is a bus stop about a block down the road so it was easy to get around even when we didn't have our car for a couple days. The host was incredibly quick to respond and very kind.

Emily is a great host. We always try to book a location owed by Emily when we are in Rochester, MN because everything is just outstanding and she is so responsive, kind, caring and goes out of her way to help you anyway possible. She is well organized and always has information in a booklet that can answer most all questions about rental and area. The description Superhost doesn’t even begin to describe Emily. We highly recommend Emily and any of her Airbnb’s to rent and you unquestionably will not be disappointed.

We came for Mayo Clinic and surgery. This is the perfect get away for taking a break and feeling not stuck in hotel. Easy to access and was able to get in and out simple for someone with limited movement. Also accommodates for children with a high chair pack n play tv and kid dishes.

The apartment is clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the linen is of good quality. It is in the back of the building, facing the parking lot and away from street noise. Most importantly, it is about five minutes walk from the Mayo clinic and downtown restaurants. On the minus side: The kitchen sink is minuscule, equipped with a bathroom type faucet that makes it difficult to wash even dishes, let alone pans; the shared washer and dryer are often busy, because the cleaning crew uses them as well. That said, it was a good value overall.

Host was extremely helpful, very attentive to how my stay was going. Highly recommended!

The house was exactly what I needed. It was a bit smaller than her pictures and there were a flight of steep stairs I was not expecting. They have done a nice job of providing everything one would need and more. Thoughtfully set up. Close to the mayo clinic a short walk of a few blocks. I think this space is perfect for one person, two may find it a little smaller than but it is still very comfortable. Thank you both

Jackie’s place is superb. Best location to visit Rochester, especially if you are visiting the Mayo Clinic, walkable distance to many places. The place is huge, great for family like us. Many games provided for the kids: pingpong and board games. Big kitchen and living spaces. Jackie the host is super friendly, helpful and responsive. All communications are smooth and fast. Greta place to stay with a responsive host. I would highly recommend this location if you need a place to close to Mayo Clinic or the downtown area.

Everything was great, just what we needed for our stay at Mayo

I stayed here for a week while at Mayo Clinic. It was a wonderful place to rest and recover. The beds are very comfortable, the place felt modern, and it was way more convenient than a hotel room. Had everything I needed for the stay. It is downtown, so there are some downtown noises - the train, traffic, etc but that didn’t bother me at all, I knew this going into the stay. Also, stairs to get to the unit, again not a problem for me. Perfect place, will be back.

Very nice, clean, and spacious apartment. All appliances work well. Julie, the host, was very responsive and kind. Parking was easy (in a shared lot), but can be tight with a longer vehicle. Just a note that there are a lot of smokers in the apartment complex so there will be some smoke smell.
