Cozy, comfy 1 BR unit in triplex, 4 blocks to Mayo

Anthony & NancyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our third stay at Terri and Brett’s. Each time, it has been in a different apartment. Getting in is easy. If you have to do laundry, it’s right there. The WiFi is the best of the three apartments. The apartment is cozy and inviting. You are 2 1/2 blocks from the Mayo subway where you can find one of the healthiest Mayo cafeterias in the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center. While the healthy living center is for Mayo employees, the cafeteria is open to anyone. A couple of blocks away is Kutzy Park, which provides a nice, secluded walk. A short drive away are Hy-Vee, Nupa North, a no frills Mediterranean restaurant, and Forager, a locally sourced restaurant, that are consistently recommended by locals.

Great location if you are visiting Mayo. Walkable distance from the hospital and also a supermarket within walkable distance. The room is spacious and the sofa in the living room opens up to two beds if needed. Host is extremely quick to reply on any messages. The building management team is also very helpful. I had an amazing time there!

Kaleidoscope Suite 2 bd 1 mi to Mayo Free Parking

LisaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at this conveniently located place for 6 weeks to help our family member recover from major surgery at the Mayo Clinic. We felt right at home and very supported by the thoughtful way Jeff and Stephanie have furnished the place, including height-adjustable beds, a shower stool and grab bars, and two comfortable electric recliners in the living room in front of a large TV. The bonus space in the partially finished basement provided extra space for privacy when needed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and generous in providing assistance when we needed it, sometimes even before we realized we needed it (such as a heads up about a coming snowstorm). As other reviews have noted, there is a small flat upstairs that is separately rented as an Airbnb (which we also have stayed in in the past, very cute) and so there was some sound of footsteps from time to time. It was easy to adjust to the sound though and everyone was respectful. Highly recommended!

Fresh space near Mayo Clinic and downtown

HawraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We recently completed a 3 month stay at this Airbnb, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The place was clean and decorated in a lovely, modern style. It felt fresh and new, which made a big difference for such a long stay. One of the biggest perks was the location. It was incredibly convenient, with close proximity to almost everything we needed. Most importantly for us, it was super close to the Mayo Clinic, which we had to visit frequently for appointments. The river was just a block away, which provided a lovely spot to walk and fresh air. Kris and Doug were fantastic hosts. They were incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs. Whenever a minor issue arose, the host came right away to fix it. It was clear they cared about our comfort throughout our stay. The Airbnb itself was well-equipped with all the gadgets and appliances we needed for an extended stay. We were able to cook meals easily and felt comfortable settling in for the long term. Highly recommended.

Cozy Nook | Right Across From St Marys!+Parking

SusanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
While here at Mayo it was a perfect location for me as it was close to the clinic. The apartment was quiet and peaceful. If I had to give a downfall it would only be that the parking, getting to the actual apartment could use a walkway of sorts as it's gravel (rocks). Would stay again. Host was great. Highly recommend.
The living area features a comfortable gray sofa adorned with decorative pillows and a stylish throw. A wooden coffee table sits on a patterned area rug, accented by a modern lamp. The backdrop includes a kitchen area with wooden cabinetry, visible in soft light.

Brand new place with a piece of mind location. Very quiet, green areas, and sidewalks around the property. Great clubhouse, gym, and amenities. Host was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. 5-Star 5 Mins to Mayo 2 Bedroom Discounted Duplex!

RickRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We stayed here because one of us had surgery at Mayo, so we didn't do things around town or use the walking trail, etc. Things we really liked in the rental: memory foam toppers on the beds made them super comfortable; plentiful outlets and USB ports that were easily accessible; well-stocked kitchen; comfortable double recliners; and a lift recliner that was a godsend after surgery. John was very responsive with a couple of issues, and was easy to communicate with. I'd highly recommend this rental.

Penthouse Suite—Steps from Mayo Clinic Hospital

KimberlyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed in the Penthouse apartment, and it was perfect for our week of appointments at Mayo Clinic. We walked to/from appointments at the Mayo/Gonda buildings as well as to local restaurants and parks.
The bedroom features a dark wooden bed with layered bedding and a decorative cushion. A matching armchair sits in the corner, and a lamp is placed on a bedside table. The window is covered with a golden curtain, allowing for natural light.

Had a wonderful stay! Clean, cozy and private. I was in town for 3 weeks while transitioning to a new job and the fact that I had a nice place to return to each day was such a relief. Great host, very responsive and he gave clear instructions on how to get in and out.
The living area features a cozy green upholstered loveseat and a patterned chair, complemented by a small dining table for two. Soft lighting illuminates the space, which includes a tasteful rug on warm wooden flooring and framed botanical artwork on the walls.

"Don't Bonk Your Head" Small Living

BrianRating, 5 stars18 months ago
The reviews are correct. If you are above 5'10", you will have to duck in the bathroom and a couple doorways. If someone is staying above the unit, it can be a bit noisy. Otherwise, everything was great. Plenty of space for one person. Everything was clean, and cookware, flatware, and silverware was plentiful. Bed was comfortable. It was nice that there were chairs and a small table that could function as a desk. Parking was easy and super clear. Wifi worked flawlessly. It's a little further from Mayo Clinic than some of the other places that I've stayed, but it's closer to the Hy-Vee and Forager.
