Cottage vacation rentals in Riverside

Hi, We had a great time at storybook cottage. Everything was excellent. Only have one comment. We would have like to use the spa. We attempted twice to turn it on and get it warm up. But we’re unsuccessful. The first day, we turned it on too late. Didn’t realize it takes hours to warm up. Second night we turn it on early in the day allowing it to warm up for about 5 hours. When we realize it turned off and water was still the same temperature. I think you should check the spa. We were looking forward to using it. Not our luck! Best, Janessa S.

the back yard, pool and cottage is beautiful and relaxing. the pool was wamed up for us. everything was clean and very cute. i hosted a little bbq here with the family and the main reason why everyone was so delighted with the place was because of Connie. such a wonderful soul. thank you and we will definitely make this a spot to book throughout the year.

Staying at the Cozy Cottage was an amazing experience! I booked the cabin for a weekend trip as a Valentine’s Day present, and our stay there was perfect. Mary Ann & Chuck were both very helpful, they guided us to an alternate route to the cabin to avoid an icy/snowy hill, and made sure we got there okay. As far as the cabin itself goes, there’s really nothing bad to say. The heaters upstairs and downstairs work great, and they work fast. You don’t need to go above 68° to really feel warm. The water pressure & heat in the shower is great, the bathroom’s immaculately clean, and very well-themed! The master bedroom is also very well put together. Everything is labeled, but non-obstructively; you only see them when you need them! We made sure to follow the guide & instructions in welcome packet & introductory e-mail, and we had no questions. Check-out was very flexible, and the amenities are amazing. Make sure to sign the guest book if you visit :) 10/10!!

Kristin did a wonderful job and was very helpful on planning an Anniversary get away. Would recommend to anyone looking to reconnect.

We loved staying here. While it's not the "newest" of places, it's exactly what we wanted. We were looking for something cozy with a cabin feel and we go that here. The jacuzzi was a nice place to relax at night. They had YouTube TV and we were able to watch movies with the kids at night and cuddle up in the living room. BONUS - Crazy fast internet. I work from home and I had a lot of work to do while during our stay. I have to upload videos to YouTube for clients and holy smokes batman, the internet was fast!!!

We really loved this little cottage. Felt very at home straight away. Great location for a quick walk into town to all the lovely shops. Supermarkets within a 10 minute walk too.

Our stay in Big Bear at Jon's cottage was nothing short of perfect for a work/play trip. The house is super comfortable and highly functional. We deeply appreciated all the amenities such as the bikes, ping pong, hot tub, snacks, coffee, full spice rack, ice in the freezer, great Wifi, and central heating. The location is great being close to the ski areas and the three grocery stores in town. Our dog loved spending time on the deck looking for squirrels and chipmunks. We look forward to returning for another family trip someday.

The home was perfect for our family Christmas. Our kids loved the outdoor fire pit and board games. Home was perfectly described as an antique home with very a lot of detail in the home still. We will definitely be booking again

1 block back from beach. Can see bit of beach from front porch. Ernie responsive and helpful. No shampoo, bath soap, Kleenex, laundry detergent but laundry available in garage so pack/ shop accordingly. Lots of beach chairs, bikes, surf boards, sand toys, beach towels. Look forward to staying again.

Kelly’s house is beautiful my family and I loved it very peaceful. The view is amazing. House is exactly like the pictures kitchen/bathroom was fully stocked. I would definitely book again.

My favorite airbnb experience so far. Lovely cosy home, great facilities.. Arlene thought about everything we may need and made sure we felt at home. Appreciated the kind special treatment for PCT hikers!

Our most recent visit was our third stay at Kristin and Richard’s place. We love the location. Great for visiting the entire Pasadena and LA area. Their place has tons of character and many thoughtful touches. Kristin and Richard are very friendly and super responsive.

Cindy's cozy cottage was exactly as we expected and worked perfectly for two adults and our dog. It was very easy to find and access. The cottage looks exactly like the pictures and was a very short walk to the village and many restaurants. It was also a short drive to the trailhead of the hike we chose to do on the north side of the lake. Cindy graciously allowed us a late check out which we very much appreciated. We would stay again!

This is such a beautiful cottage! I needed space to get away for a little bit and this place was a dream. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage had everything we needed in case we just wanted to relax in the cabin. We got to explore the area a bit and hike some. Very much recommend! Would love to come back again.

Great location if you are visiting Lake Arrowhead. It’s less than 5 minutes to get to the village that has most of the restaurants. Lake Gregory is also about 15 minutes away. Great space for our family of 4. Cassidy was very responsive and gave great details about our stay.

This house is beautiful and just steps to the beach. The house is completely updated and very clean! The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. And the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived. The location of this house is the best part. It is located steps from not just the beach, but from the grocery store, coffee shops, tons of restaurants and the best Newport has to offer. We hit up several of their recommendations and loved them all. Everything was so close that we didn’t use our car the entire week. Don’t hesitate to book this rental. We can’t wait to come back. 10/10 stars 🌟 This space was so beautiful, peaceful, and had everything you could think of for a wonderful stay. I was so at home, appreciated being able to cook my own meals and loved that it was dog friendly. Mary was so sweet, kind, and responsive. She is a fantastic host who truly thought of everything to make this stay above and beyond. We would absolutely stay again. The oranges from the garden were an extra plus! So delicious!

Favorite Airbnb ever! So comfy and cozy. Walking distance to many fun things. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great outdoor spaces to relax in. Extremely comfortable couch and beds. Loved the local recommendations. We had such a great time, thank you Carmen!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything matched the description and very clear instructions. Location was great, parking is always hard to find in Laguna so being able to get the Trolley from right outside was so convenient and nice to get around. It is on PCH so you do hear cars at night which we didn’t mind, we were still able to sleep with no issues. One thing to keep in mind is because there is no AC, the place does get really warm. We thought we would be fine because the weather wasn’t too bad but we came back to it being really stuffy. We had to open the windows to let the fresh breeze and it was okay after that. Overall loved the place and location, definitely recommend for anyone staying in Laguna Beach!

Beautiful cabin in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Felt like home as soon as you walk in. very cozy, clean and had all the amenities. The double-deck was absolutely fantastic, you could eat breakfast and bath in the sun on the top level or relax in the shade on the lower level if the sun got too hot. There are hiking trails with a beautiful view of the lake just .5 miles from the cabin. The surrounding area is walkable too if you feel like staying closer to home. If you need anything, there are shops and things to do just 5min up the road. And if you want to hit the lake, the town is only a quick 10min drive. Yvette was quick to respond and was a great source of information if you need it. I will definitely be returning soon.

Anha's has been one of the most pleasant hosts to communicate with. She was quick to respond, super sweet, and very accommodating. The place was very clean and I loved the way she decorated the place, modern but still gives that cabin feeling. I really enjoyed the kitchen, the layout was super functional and it was fully stocked. I also loved the open layout of the living room and kitchen because the whole family still gets to be together and interact while we made dinner. Really really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend.
