Kid-friendly vacation rentals in River Tees

Peter was a great host who communicated very well. Very clear instructions on how to find the house, how to work heating and even how firm each mattress was! On arrival we noticed attachments for a baby gate which he came and fitted within 10 minutes of asking. The house was very spacious and well equipped. Beds and sofa's were very comfy. The homemade brownies left for us were unbelievable and a really nice treat! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely house which was very clean & tidy. Was just as described in the photos. The house is at the bottom of a quite busy road so there is traffic noise which passes with minimal disruption, this is also within walking distance of Bishop Auckland centre. Only thing could say there were no teabags but there's a shop over the road & we had family round the corner. I would definitely recommended staying here as we hopefully will on our next visit to family.

Anne's home is very clean,well equipped and comfortable. It's in a very quiet neighbourhood. It's ideal for visiting local attractions around Durham. Anne is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the cottage for a couple of nights and had an amazing time! The cottage itself is gorgeous and feels so cosy and homely. The decor is beautiful and the place was pristine. The large bathtub was a real stand out and worth booking the cottage for that and the log burner alone! Everything you could ever need is provided and we were so grateful for that. Any extras were available at a local small corner shop which was fab. We had a lovely couple of days away relaxing and have already recommended to a couple friends. We’d definitely come back again. Fantastic place - one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Immaculately presented and in a quiet farm location adjacent to some woodlands which were great for walking. Perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful break. Jane was a fantastic host who responded quickly to our messages. The welcome pack and information supplied for visitors were excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! My friends and I stayed here for a wedding nearby. It was a great location which was easy to order taxis to and from. There is a big Sainsburys right next door for anything you might need. Beds were VERY comfortable and it was great to have a shower in each room. It was clean and tidy. Geoff and Julie were very friendly and welcoming and we’re really grateful for a lovely stay ☺️

An absolutely beautiful accommodation, comfortable & large in a glorious setting. Zoe is so friendly, unassuming & helpful. Encouraged us to wander around her lovely garden, the very old courtyard & surroundings. Her dogs & cats add to the pleasant home stay atmosphere. The breakfast supplies, tea & coffee were very generous. Zoe booked us into a nearby pub for dinner which was a good idea as they can be very busy. There are a number of things to see in nearby towns. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer & will definitely return to Zoe’s if we ever get back to the UK.

Fantastic location overlooking marketplace in Masham with its beautiful Georgian buildings and independent shops. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Good centre for visiting Ripon, Harrogate, Fountains etc.

Lisa's place is exactly what it looks like in the photos. Better even, as they take care of little comforts such as tea, coffee, basic groceries, soaps, towels etc, which makes you feel at ease. It is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, iron, Utensils etc. Lisa and Steve are friendly, helpful and quick to respond online. The location is a bit of a hill climb, but very close to both train and bus stations, and Durham City centre. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend it to others. Thanks Lisa and Steve! Beautiful little hidden gem! A perfect stay whilst we attended a wedding at Middleton Lodge. The flat was well equipped, bed was super comfy and the towels were large and fluffy! I would deffinatley reccomend to others 😃😃. Thank you Fiona!

This is a quiet apartment on a small estate close to the railway station. It is great if you are working away from home, or visiting for a few days. Instructions were clear and Mike was responsive. It looked like the description and it was great to have 2 bedrooms.

From the moment we arrived Barry and Sue went out of their way to make us feel at home and aware of all that Richmond and its locality had to offer. The apartment was meticulously clean, so well furnished and comfortable and everything we would want for using the equipment and services as well as local guide books etc. the location was brilliant for a stay in Richmond which itself was a surprise and really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation for the 2 of us & had everything we needed for a long weekend exploring this area of the Yorkshire Dales. We enjoyed the suggested walking routes, the route details provided were really handy. Viv and Ernie were lovely hosts and nice to chat to.

A lovely apartment, bright and comfortable in a historic area of Newcastle, near to the castle and cathedral. Lots of good restaurants on the doorstep, a perfect place to stay.

This really is a gem, fantastic value for money and in our opinion ticked all the boxes. Would not hesitate to recommend it to any one.

Fintan's place is located in the attractive village of Ovingham and is very convenient for accessing places along the Tyne Valley as well as Hadrian's Wall. The bed and shower were both great and all essential needs are provided for.

We had a great time and really appreciated how spotlessly clean and well thought out the apartment was, especially the small thoughtful touches.
