The most perfect lodge for a perfect weekend, would highly, highly recommend. All the little touches on arrival made us feel right at home (cakes on the side, milk in the fridge, welcome book with info etc). The views are sensational and the lodge is so cosy and homely. The hot tub is easy to use but the staff are always on hand to help if needed (they also had it warmed ready for our arrival!). Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

we've have just had Christmas eve, Christmas day and boxing day at the mill. we had a lovely time and the space was well equipped to cook a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for seven people. The river setting is so picturesque, you can always hear the water running. There was always a heron or two to see and Nick said he's had some otters there on occasion! Nick was lovely and friendly, we would love to come back in summer and sit out on the patio and listen to the river. It's a short walk into Skipton via the track over the river. Skipton was beautiful for Xmas eve and we spent boxing day in grassington which is only 15 mins down the road.

This was a fantastic stay. We stayed three nights in the accommodation which was exactly as described and as the photos. Entry into the gardens before and after opening hours is a huge bonus. The gardens simply amazing and to walk among them in silence was really special. Accommodation was comfy, well equipped and warm. The wine in the fridge and eggs were a lovely touch. Will definitely stay again.

We felt right at home when we arrived at Benjamin's place. Everything from booking to check-in and check-out and everything inbetween went very smooth thanks to Benjamin's quick responses. The place was just as it was described, very clean, tidy, homely. There were even few little toys and card games for our children. They loved the swing :-) We would certainly come back to Benjamin's place and highly recommend it, as well. Thank you Benjamin and Louise!

Our stay at the pod was amazing. The pod itself had everything we needed and some lovely touches. It was so cosy and warm. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. We had two great walks near the pod. One day Penhill and another near Semer lake. David gave us some good advice for the walks to ensure we got the most out of them. I hope we get to the pod again soon and explore more of the stunning location. Thanks!!

Alex was a friendly and attentive host. The pictures don’t do the barn justice, it has spectacular views from the front door and has a warm and cosy feel. We also travelled with a baby and travel cot, baby bath and high chair were also made available to us.

We have returned home today from a 3 night stay and we're missing it already. There's nothing more to say other than...Perfect 👌 The location is peaceful and beautiful. We walked to The Abbey Inn the first afternoon and enjoyed a glass of wine sat by the fire. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed and bed linen was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, clean and the shower gel smelled devine. We had some beautiful weather so was able to sit outside with a drink and admire the gardens. Sitting at the table at meal times was a pleasure with such a stunning view too. We would definitely like to go back, there's so much to see and do in the area. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly too. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

We had a great stay at Box Tree Escapes! The lodge was a perfect base camp for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, with the starting point being only a 20 min drive away. After our mammoth hike, the hot tub was a real life dream. It was even companied with a spectacular view of the milky way at night! It would have been even better if the lodge had body wash to compliment the fantastic showers! We would definitely come again.

Lovely stay in Tollerton! Easy to get to York using park and ride and lots of lovely local walks and lovely local tea room and village shop. Walkable pub ‘black horse’ unfortunately seemed shut so worth checking if it’s opened back up. Great clean space with garden area was ideal for us travelling with a baby, our host made space in advance for our travel cot which was really helpful! Thanks for a lovely stay we will be back!! A great peaceful stay with good access to York and Yorkshire Dales
