Monthly Rentals in Riogordo

My three month stay at Casa Luis in Riogordo was fantastic. Michelle was a wonderful host and made me feel right at home from the word go. At 50MB download (and upload) speed, the broadband was ideal for my needs as a "digital nomad". I also loved the real fire in the evenings when it got a little chilly (I was there Nov-Jan so not surprising). Riogordo is a lovely traditional Andalucian white-wall-red-roof village, not at all touristy, and the people were very friendly and welcoming. I also loved the plunge pool on the sun terrace, which was private and perfect for sunbathing. The local team Michelle has in place were also great, and I also commissioned them for cleaning and ironing on a regular basis. Michelle was incredibly responsive and proactive from the word go to the time I left, she is a person with a very kind heart and soul. For me, this is something I really like to get from Airbnb hosts, not all do it. Michelle (ably supported by her husband Ian) came up trumps everytime.

Since the bookings, they have been very kind and easy to reach. The apartment was super well located in a quiet little corner and the instructions were very clear for accessing the accommodation. In addition, they had left a list of suggestions for activities and restaurants to try, it was a very nice touch!

I also personally sent us a coupon voucher from a nearby restaurant.The hilltop village is tranquil and natural, the sunrise and the sunset are different every day.We stayed for almost a month and loved it.

Juan was very friendly, helpful and responsive upon arrival. The cottage is situated in very beautiful surroundings, it is also very private to yourself, you’d struggle to not having a relaxing time there, would be somewhere I’d look forward to returning to and highly recommend!
