Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Río Segundo

A wonderful stay that's close to the airport (30 min walk). I loved staying in a more "local" neighborhood and still having the amenities of being close to a mall. Jennifer was extremely responsive throughout my stay and provided clear instructions and pictures for check in. Some things to note for future guests: the stairs leading up to the unit are very steep so be mindful if you have heavy luggage, the AC in the unit wasn't really strong enough to keep the apt cool enough for me during the hottest part of the day (this didn't bother me as I was out and about), turning on the hot water in the shower was not immediately intuitive for me so Jennifer had to give me instructions, if you need a REALLY hot shower, this might not be the place for you as after following the instructions I noticed it didn't get super hot (though the city is very hot so taking a colder shower was ok with me!) Overall a great value for a short term stay with a great host. Thank you, Jennifer!

La propiedad es muy agradable, con todas las comodidades necesarias para una permanencia de corta o mediana estancia. Cuenta con los dispositivos necesarios para llenar las necesidades básicas de las personas alejadas. Es muy segura, silenciosa y con una excelente ubicación. La atención del personal de la recepción y de seguridad fue excelente. El anfitrión es una persona muy atenta, educada, siempre estuvo presente cuando lo necesitamos y nos resolvió todos nuestros requerimientos de manera eficiente. Es un magnífico anfitrión.

Carol’s place was exactly what we were looking for! After spending most of our trip further south, we needed a place to stay for the night before our flight out of San José. The place was easy to find, very convenient to the airport, and exactly as described. Very clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Surprisingly quiet for how close it was to the airport. Not much car traffic. Walking distance to a mini super and great restaurant, Tierra Fertil. We would stay again if we were spending more time in Alajuela. Thank you Carol!

Sin duda alguna la joya del lugar es la vista, es imponente durante el día cautivadora durante la noche, la cama es extremadamente cómoda, el baño es limpio moderno y agradable. El lugar cuenta con Wi-Fi estable y está cerca de varios restaurantes, definitivamente pienso volver, es un lugar excelente para descansar de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza o para una cita romántica.

I had a great stay here. The kitchen had everything you could wish for, there was not one but two coffee makers and a blender. The private garden was nice and I enjoyed making use of the pool and gym. The only slight downside is that there are a lot of dogs in the building so it is inevitable to hear a bit of barking, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay in San Jose!

Wir haben die Tage in dem Apartment sehr genossen. Es war alles da , was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die Lage ist super. Kurze Wege zum einkaufen. Den Pool haben wir auch sehr geliebt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Nice loft in peaceful neighborhood and with an amazing view. Had all amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

Alejandra's house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space and very clean. The best part was how lovely and welcoming Alejandra's family are. They made us feel like part of the family and so comfortable to stay there. Thanks for everything!

Wir waren (leider) nur eine Nacht in diesem wunderschönen Airbnb. Alles ist wirklich fantastisch. Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus. Sehr gepflegt, eine extrem tolle Aussicht. Und alles wird gekrönt von dem coolen Jacuzzi, welcher auf der Terrasse steht! Vor gewärmt für uns – das war perfekt. Alles in allem Fünf Sterne Deluxe. Super Kommunikation mit dem Host –MELANY. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis. Wir sind öfter in San Jose und werden definitiv diesen kleinen Umweg in Kauf nehmen. Herzlich und warm beschreibt es am besten. Casita impecable. Yo y mi familia disfrutamos de nuestra estadía, en especial la naturaleza y las caminatas. El desayuno delicioso. Volveremos 100% recomendado.

Esta es nuestra segunda vez hospedándonos con Shirel , es una excelente persona , siempre amable y atenta. La adición de aires acondicionados especialmente con el clima de San José ahora es perfecta. Yaritza, la muchacha de limpieza fue excelente, colaborativa y me ayudó mucho. Recomiendo esta hermosa casa 100%

Federico’s place is airy, light and comfortable. It has a wonderful spacious back patio where we spent time talking and lingering over meals. And Federico was very supportive and responsive

Excelente ubicacion y horario de llegada flexible

I honestly can't say enough good things about my three month stay at Laura's San José condo. Laura and her brother, William, were wonderful throughout the whole stay, always helpful and responsive. THE CONDO: Looks just like the pictures and is very well furnished for long stays! They even had a pet bed and toys there for my pup! You'll spend lovely afternoons on the balcony watching the Pericos fly by. Condo has AC, but you hardly need it. My stay also came with weekly cleaning! THE COMMUNITY: Very welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly. If you stay for awhile, try to get plugged into the community group chat. Avalon Country Club is a gated community with a lovely lake right behind the building and manicured gardens throughout. The elevated pool overlooks the San José valley. Right outside the gate are a vet and groomer, and a small corner store/grocery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would rent this unit again.

Nice place. Worth the money

Eduardo is a great host and very attentive. The location is simply the best and the building comes with a beautiful pool gym , sauna and steam room which was very important for me. The location is simply the best you’re in the middle of escazu , and everything is in the area. Thank you Eduardo I hope to be back soon.

Ricardo’s place is great! San Jose downtown as well as the airport are very easy to reach from his place. Communication and check-in went very smoothly.

El espacio es súper agradable, tranquilo y privado. Nos quedamos con nuestra hija de 7 semanas y nos faltó nada. Muy cómodo lugar. Michael es un súper anfitrión respondiendo a cualquier petición inmediatamente y con mucha empatía. 100% recomendado! El espacio está cerca a senderos y sin tráfico solo a 20 minutos del centro de San José.

This is a wonderful, clean, spacious and beautifully presented condo. The view is stunning and peaceful. Kelly is a gracious, friendly and welcoming host who is always on hand for anything you need. We would definitely come back and completely recommend this peaceful place. There is everything you need for a complete and comfortable stay in San Jose. The property is also well served for takeaways and ubereats groceries, as well as having a number of tasty restaurants close by. The wifi is fantastic, fast and reliable. There is also large flat screens across the condo connected to netflix if you are looking for additional entertainment. We completely recommend!!!
