House vacation rentals in Río Segundo

This place was the perfect place for us. Although it was in a residential property with many homes, it was incredibly relaxing and felt uncrowded, allowing for true peace and quiet. I loved being able to walk to nearby stores, which made my stay super convenient. We made many meals with all of the kitchen appliances needed provided. This is a very nice place, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

I enjoyed my time here. Great space for 3 adults. We felt very safe in this gated community and relaxed in the home. Had a little struggle figuring out the electric stove and sadly there is no oven in the home, but we made it work. The hosts were very kind and responsive to all the questions we had during our stay. Very nice home and exactly as pictured.

Jorge is incredible, our flight from Panama to Costa Rica had mechanical difficulties so we didn't get to Costa Rico until 10:30 p.m. After picking up a rental (which I highly recommend if you are staying here) it was after midnight. We had some difficulty finding the house Jorge came out to meet us rather than just do directions. The house was very comfortable and the bathroom including the amenities were fabulous!

Beautiful place, with a pool and a private jacuzzi. Surrounded by nature. Tracy the host and Doña Maria the cleaning lady were exceptional and friendly. Very well-equipped house. We would definitely come back

Great place for a family, friends or work trip. The place is exactly as the photos and the host is very friendly and direct. The house is better than it looks and that’s a lot to say. Would definitely stay again here!

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!

I loved my stay at this home. The place was spotless, very well kept and as shown in the photos. The bed was very comfortable, the spaces were cozy and well decorated, and it had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. The location was excellent, close to everything I needed, but quiet enough to rest well. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future.

Excellent host, and one of the best equipped homes we have stayed in!! Very well decorated and sure made you feel the luxury component that this place offers. Directly around the corner from the unit is common area with conference rooms , gym, and an elegant lap pool backed by a forested setting! Highly recommended option!!

Really enjoyed this private little getaway in the city and near the airport. Walkable to a small supermarket and restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed, cozy, helpful and welcoming hosts. We were able to bring our little dog no problem. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place, I recommend it!!!!

This is a great place if you're traveling on a budget! We had everything we needed for our stay while we located a permanent home rental. Josue was flexible and good to communicate with. This is a Tico house, so if you're new to Costa Rica, know that means no hot water except the in-line heater in the shower, no screens on the doors, and you shouldn't flush the toilet paper. But all that said, it's a comfortable house in the mountains with incredible views, and the cows are a bonus. We would recommend it to our friends!

We only stayed the night here before our flight the next day. Sirlene was a great host and reached out to us well in advance with information and made sure we were comfortable when we arrived. She offered us fresh eggs from her farm. The home is in a unique location. It feels really private although it’s right in the city and close to the airport. I feel like this place is a fantastic value and was a very nice place to stay. I definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic spot with so much space in the heart of San Jose. Easy to walk around and find anything you need. Lots of privacy with an entire fenced in yard. Host was so responsive and very kind. Definitely recommend.

Great place, very clean and safe!

The first thing you will notice when you arrive at Pablo's property is the attention paid to the architectural design - while the property is in the city just minutes from the San Jose airport, the interior seems to merge seamlessly with the garden space that is planted with mature Costi Rican flora, including a massive Mango tree. Similar attention has been paid to the interior design. It just all blends together. When we had a question, Pablo came over and was very helpful. We were not surprised to learn that Pablo is, in fact, an architect by trade. We then had a great conversation with Pablo about Costa Rican architecture and his approach to design. Finally, the beds are super comfy and we had a great sleep before getting up early to make our way to the airport. We definitely plan to return.

Mykie’s place was an absolutely incredible peaceful little oasis that felt like a world of its own. The check-in process was seamless, and we instantly felt safe, relaxed, and welcomed. The location was great. We all loved the unique, eclectic decor that created such a calming and cozy atmosphere. Every room was thoughtfully styled with artistic touches and soothing details that made the space serene. My three teenage kids especially enjoyed the colorful, customizable lighting and the cozy, dimmable lamps that gave the house such a warm, tranquil glow. The blend of textures, colors, and decorative pieces gave the home a creative yet calming energy that really set it apart. Despite not having air conditioning, the place stayed cool and fresh, thanks to the fans in every room and the smart layout that embraced an airy indoor-outdoor vibe. We only stayed one night before flying out, but every one of my kids said they wished we had booked a longer stay. It truly felt like a hidden gem!

The Eco casa Airbnb was perfect for our family. We traveled with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. We could easily get to and from the airport. We walked to restaurants an a Fresh Market grocery. The house was clean and well appointed. The shower and fluffy towels, and well furnished kitchen were much appreciated.

Carlo's place was great! We stayed almost a week and felt right at home. We saw many birds and even a couple frogs from the expansive living room and deck. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated and worked great. The showers were nice. We cooked in the kitchens many mornings and were very happy with the set up and appliances. I also have to say that Cuidad Colon was a charming small town and I hope to return someday. All in all I highly recommend Carlo's place!

Daisy’s place was the perfect location to start our adventure. Everything was on point, clean and free of clutter. The restaurant, at just one minute walking distance, was a convenient option and the food was good. I highly recommend this place to stay as it’s closer to the airport and at reasonable distance to explore around San Jose.

My stay at this Airbnb in Alajuela was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I stepped in, I was in love with the place—it was so inviting and beautifully maintained that I playfully told the host I wanted to buy it! The cleanliness was impeccable, and the amenities were thoughtfully curated, ensuring every comfort was met. Located right in the heart of Alajuela’s city center, everything—shops, cafes, and local sights—was just steps away. While the central spot means some nighttime traffic noise, the area felt incredibly safe, which added to the overall charm. The host was exceptional, graciously allowing us to check in early, which made our arrival stress-free. Having the airport nearby was a huge convenience for our departure. As someone whose father grew up in Alajuela, staying here felt like a heartfelt return home, blending nostalgia with modern comfort. This Airbnb is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it enough for an unforgettable Costa Rican experience! Pura Vida!

Federico’s place is airy, light and comfortable. It has a wonderful spacious back patio where we spent time talking and lingering over meals. And Federico was very supportive and responsive
