We had the pleasure of staying with Anne and met a lovely host, full of good humor. She made sure we didn't miss anything for our stay without being intrusive. The accommodation is even nicer in real life than in the photos, the calm there is master, you will find something to do in the accommodation or there is no shortage of activities in the surroundings. We're already thinking about when we'll be back.

The accommodation meets our expectations: quiet, comfortable, well arranged, not overlooked, shops nearby (bakery, grocery, butcher, caterer, bar and press.) We were lulled by the singing, flying swallows, martinets and turtledoves. We recharged in your home.

We loved staying in the beautiful house in the countryside, it had everything you would need for a short or a long visit. It’s in such a beautiful area & although we treasured the quiet on our return to the house, we were close to many towns. A wonderfully relaxing base to explore this fantastic area from. Pierre was so very helpful & the extra touches in this house, made a lasting impression. Everything was thought of!! We were sad to leave & will return in the future, if we get over this way again!!

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

We spent a weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday, and we enjoyed the pool, ping pong table and swimming pool. We will definitely come back!

This lovely cottage has been in this family since 1896. It was lovingly restored to keep the old wine-country feel but add every modern amenity. It is extremely clean, well provisioned, and very comfortable. It is also very secure, not isolated, and very quiet. A few kms up the road is our favorite village in all of France, Saint-Emilion, with literally dozens of name vineyards/wineries closeby. Pomerol is next door as well. One of the very best rentals ever - and we have done dozens. We will be back. We love this cottage.

Marie’s home was beautiful and without a doubt the highest standard of accommodation we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. The location is so peaceful and felt very safe behind the remote controlled gate for your car and then the bungalow itself was absolutely superb, immaculately spotless with the most comfortable bed and living room accommodation and a kitchen and bathroom with all of the highest quality appliances, it really is superb. Marie was a charming host and if we get back to visit this beautiful part of the world again we shall definitely be staying here again, many thanks David & Teresa x

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

A very nice, spacious, comfortable apartment which met all our needs. Communication was very clear and helpful. From the place you are in the middle of the city centre in about two minutes walk. Also parking instructions were very helpful. Very good price/quality, would recommend to everyone!

Beautiful apartment, very quiet, a little sweetness in terms of heating would have been welcome, the weather was not very hot overall, very beautiful rental.

I can't say much about David's place 'cause we only stayed one night but it was exactly what I was looking for. The studio was one of a serie of studios/flats in the same building so it felt like a motel. There were also houses with a very nice and big communal garden, all Airbnb. The room was clean enough even if in certain areas, like under the bed, wasn't super. Keep in mind you need to clean before you leave as well. It's very much in the country side so I think you can only reach it by car. David was very nice to let us have a couple of friend for the evening. I think it's worth it for the price.

I had a very pleasant stay in this apartment with a very cozy and well-appointed atmosphere, ideal for relaxing. The location is convenient, with a view from above in a peaceful neighborhood and close to the city center. I recommend this rental for a quiet and comfortable stay.

We loved our stay here. Wonderful location - an easy walk to the cathedral, centre-ville, and markets. It is a medieval building with narrow, steep, and winding stairs, so if you deal with mobility issues, or are an over packer, lol, this is not the place for you. But we loved it. Everything we needed for a comfortable and wonderfully located stay. Would come again.

Best ever a truly 5 starts, great location, beutiful place confi bed, free parking is 10 minutes walking, great towels, cotton linen sheets, it my be a little more expensive but is worth every penny….i can’t fault this place in any thing…..

As usual, this is the third time I've booked the place, I'm still so delighted. I thank Agnès for the welcome and will of course return to her home during our next trip.

Lovely apartment. Great location. Well worth the money.

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
