Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Rethymno

Everything was wonderful! The house was clean, every day our towels were changed and it was well equipped. The location is very good, not far from the beaches and restaurants, but definitely you need a car if you want to visit. The pool was also very clean and the stuff from the pool bar was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Right in the center of Agyroupoli. Cafés, Supermarket, Avocado shop, ancient Mosaik all in walking distance. Great to explore the area.

Lovely location and very accessible from Heraklion, really easy drive from the airport. Hosts are wonderfully friendly, apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Note that the twin room doesn’t have AC but the other bedrooms benefit from the AC in the other side of the apartment. Pool and outdoor terrace are lovely - a very relaxing space!

Alma’s place is the best loft I’ve ever stayed! Outstanding quality of all features / amenities. Very well thought out design, decor, and use of space. The location of Joel's place is really great. On foot it is only 5 minutes to the beach. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the city center of Rethymno, but it is an entertaining walk along the sea. There are several small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. A large supermarket is also a few minutes away (down the road to the sea and then turn right in front of the sea). Bars, restaurants and coffees are numerous. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated. Everything was clean and tidy. The large bedroom with the three beds has a large wardrobe, the other two have no closet but a dresser. The mattresses were all good. The two larger bedrooms have air conditioning, the smallest room has none. Communication with Joel was perfect and always very friendly. He always responded quickly and was very helpful. For example, when we asked him for a big knife for melons, he immediately bought one and brought us. In summary, we can say that we enjoyed the stay very much and the apartment is a great choice for the holiday in Rethymno - a clear recommendation.

The view from the deck was astounding! The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. The hosts were kind and very helpful. They responded to every message including helping us with our car rental( telephone issues on our end) we were given a beautiful block of cheese and a bottle of wine, not to mention the cookies and buns:)) We would definitely stay again.

I was very pleased that the host greeted me personally at the entrance to the town and showed me the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, had all the amenities (as in the photos), the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is very beautiful and clean, the bedding is fresh and fragrant, as are the towels. Very comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. And of course the hot tube where you can relax and unwind in the evening. Nearby there is a small shop and a pastry shop and taverns with very good food. I highly recommend this apartment and the hosts. An ideal place to visit both the north and the south of the island.

Amazing place to stay, it was immaculate and very modern. The location to the pool and local amenities was fantastic. The studio was regularly cleaned and staff were on hand to contact should we need them. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Great stay! We would be happy to come back, especially for the awesome location in the center of the pretty city of Rethymnon, for the two large sunny terraces and for the great kindness of the hosts! Even if the kitchen is very small, it's a pleasure to cook there. The place is fully equipped and the dishes provided are beautiful! Internet is fast, but sometimes there are small outages of a few seconds and the signal enters the main room but is weak in the bedrooms.

Eva‘s apartement was super clean and exactly like she described. Our plane was late but our check-in was flexible thanks to Eva. She made us feel at home right away and also came bearing gifts for us, traditional Raki and amazingly fresh fruits (her figs were delicious!!). She also sent us many recommendations on what to do, which restaurant to check out and her preferred beaches etc. Also, we were able to park our rental car at her property. We stayed only 10 days which was too short as always. The bedroom was perfectly dark thanks to the blinds so our sleep was deep and recharging. Overall, I can fully recommend Eva‘s place. It‘s a perfect place to chill and relax and it‘s not too far away from the beaches and restaurants. Thanks for making our stay so awesome!

The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot while being a little off-center from the disturbances of beachfront bars and restaurants. Welcome and professionalism of the host, you can go there with your eyes closed!

Excellent stay with Myron who offered to pick us up from the airport. In less than 20 minutes we were at the destination with a warm welcome and very useful information. The accommodation, in all respects consistent with the photos and description, is ideal for two, everything is very well thought out. It is located 100m from the beach and the Havana Beach Bar (which offers free sunbeds if you take a drink and good homemade dishes) and several tavernas offering traditional Cretan cuisine at an excellent value for money. The bus stop to Heraklion is 200m away and takes you there in about thirty minutes depending on traffic, there is also an express bus to the Palais de Cnossos. We recommend 100%.

We had a great stay at the place. The large garden and the great views of the bay of Heraklion were amazing. The house itself was a little smaller than expected, especially with two almost adult children. The surfaces of the kitchen could have been cleaner and the dishwasher was unfortunately broken. These were the only criticisms. Jannis took care of us touchingly and contacted us again and again. The house is fantastically located at the end of a dead end and Google does not know the way there, but the directions from Jannis and Evi are perfect. A small tip: a car is mandatory! All in all it was a great holiday.

Our stay at Niko's house was just great! The rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view that you can even enjoy from the hot tub. The location is quiet and relaxing without feeling restricted. The house is spacious and full of loving details that create a special atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend this house!

Beautiful villa in a wonderful setting, the outside space is really spectacular. Everything you could need is available at the villa. We were staying with a 10m old and there were loads of baby items which made our trip so much easier. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating and helped us with recommendations when we asked. Would highly recommend this villa. It’s also within easy driving distance to lovely places on the island.

It really had everything in it, it felt like home and even better. The view is fantastic and the owner is excellent and incredibly polite. It's such an atmospheric and stunning house ,with easy parking. And the small pool all the money there really relaxed. The village of Margarites is excellent as if you were in another era. It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

A beautiful Crete getaway in a great home. Charikleia will always be there for you to answer your questions, give you good recommendations and even bring some traditional sweets. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and relaxing with all the equipment to be comfortable during the stay. You have nearby not even a 5-minute walk to a small convenience store and a 10-minute walk to the beach and small restaurants (be careful in early November only 4 open restaurants). To get to Elafonisi or Balos, plan to drive 3h10 and 3h45. For a family of three we really enjoyed this largely livable place as a family. The pool is a real plus.
