Blue villa Mantzourana - 1 bedroom maisonette

This place is wonderful. It is a collection of a few traditional villas which have been beautifully renovated and decorated. Konstantinos offered us a slightly larger villa (Diktamos) which was decorated in the same style and furniture. The villa has everything you need, lovely welcome items, comfortable bed, amazing shower. There is a little mini market on site too open 24/7 for drinks or anything else you might need. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and you can see all the way to the sea. Small quiet village with a GREAT taverna, and lots of other places to eat in nearby villages (by car). It is a very windy road up the hill to reach the village but definitely worth it!!!! Remote and peaceful yet close enough to the coast and city that we could enjoy the Chania region. I definitely recommend.

Sunset villa is an absolute gem. Generous in every way - spacious, very well appointed, beautiful views from every side and a spectacular pool, hot tub and sun terrace, and lovely surrounding garden. We visited in April with our two young daughters and we were all blown away by the villa, the location, the gorgeous local beaches and tavernas, not to mention Giorgios’s (the owner’s) hospitality from start to finish. He was there to greet us on arrival and had even arranged a whole meal to feed the family as we arrived late at night. The ping pong table for the girls and sauna for us were the cherry on top. If you like to feel at peace and be surrounded by nature - it is there in abundance when you look out your window or when you walk out the door. Thoroughly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay in this nice house. The pool and terrace was great. The kids loved to swim and play in the pool. There was enough space for the seven of us - we could have brought 2 more friends. It was great to have 4 bathrooms - so there was no arguing about who wants to shower first. For the checkin the owner welcomed us personally and even had food in the fridge for the first night/morning. All questions and small issues got solved very quickly. From the terrace you can see the snow covered mountains of crete and have a fantastic view of the sea. We had a rental car and made several daytrips to see other parts of the island and different beaches. There are a few stores in walking distance to get some basic things. Rethymno can be reached with car in a few minutes - it is a very nice town to do some shopping or enjoy good cretan food. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a relaxing time. Thank you!

Upscale 3bd BBQ, Sauna, Steps to Beach & Amenities

We LOVED this place!! The villa, the location, and the hosts Eleni and Georgios are all fantastic. The house is stunningly designed inside and out, for both functionality and luxury. The kitchen is supremely well-equipped, beds comfortable, bathrooms and living spaces airy and stylish. We appreciated the multiple terraces, beautiful swimming pool and sauna with a view! The location is perfect without a car: easily walkable to bars, restaurants and supermarkets in Plakias, but situated at the best, quietest, wildest end of the bay, with sandy beach, clear water, a couple of cool beach bars for sundowners and a beautiful walk on the headland. If you do have a car, there are amazing beaches nearby (Skinaria is gorgeous), and walking (and cold swimming) in the Kourtaliotiko Gorge. Eleni and Georgios are amazing hosts: communicative, friendly, thoughtful, offering local recommendations and dealing with any questions or issues efficiently - thank you! 🤩

Lux Villa Faros, 4 BD, 3 BA, private infinity pool

Fantastic villa with beautiful pool and view. Downstairs at the sea you can watch nice snorkeling and fishing thanks to the super clear water. We and our kids enjoyed it. First village is 30 minutes drive so provide plenty of groceries.

We stayed at Villa in Kerame for a week and were always looked after by Maximos and Maria. If we needed any assistance or ambiguities, they were quick to provide information. They were also very flexible in terms of check-in and check-out. The villa is beautiful and has everything you need for a vacation. The view of the sea is also priceless. The beach right away is nice to look at the beach, but we went to other beaches by car, all of which were between 10/15 minutes by car. The tavern right next to the villa is highly recommended. A small family restaurant with fresh sea dishes at cheap prices. In general, we have actually only had good experiences in any tavernas in the area. However, the village shop in Kerame is not 100% recommended, it has the most necessary, but the prices are very high. We would recommend going shopping in Spili.

The accommodation was perfect, better than in the description and photos… the huge shower that makes a hammam, the bathrobes and slippers available, we were like at the hotel but just for us! Eleni hosted us perfectly and was available to answer each of our requests… we were able to arrive earlier than expected and leave later because the accommodation was not rented out. We were recommended good local restaurants. Small toys had been made available for our baby, books in our language, fruits, cakes… all TVs have Netflix apps etc… the accommodation was incredibly clean! We were afraid of being in a bad location but to discover the south and the wild ridge it was ideal. A not too touristy spot for a week of rest! We recommend it 100%, thanks again to Eleni for her kindness…

The Sports Villa was amazing. Great location, beautiful home and incredible hosts. Highly recommend, particularly for families. Our grandson loved the play area and everything was secure. The neighborhood has great tavernas, markets and bakeries. Day trips are easy. You’ll love it

One of the nicest villas I’ve ever stayed in while in Greece! The place is absolutely beautiful - super modern with amazing views. It had all the amenities you could think of, even dental kits and body lotions. It honestly felt like we were staying at a hotel! The host, Nikos, was so friendly and super responsive. He helped us order takeaway food - he even called the restaurant himself and made sure the driver came right to our door. He also brought us local oranges and pastries, which we really appreciated. He even brought us firewood for the outdoor fireplace! We’d definitely come back - the sunsets were incredible!

Giannis and Christina were the most wonderful hosts. They welcomed us warmly and our stay at their beautiful home was an absolute dream. The house is stunning, incredibly comfortable and so well appointed. We had everything we needed for a blissful stay with our two daughters. We knew very little about Crete before our trip and greatly appreciated all of the amazing recommendations from our hosts.. beaches, restaurants, meat and fish markets - all were superb. The house and grounds are beautifully designed and fit so well with the landscape. You can tell it has been built and maintained with great care. The location is also ideal - removed enough from Chania for a really peaceful atmosphere and stargazing but also close enough to explore the city and so many beautiful beaches. We will definitely visit again and would not want to stay anywhere else. Efcharisto, Giannis and Christina, for everything!!

We have just spent 10 amazing days at this beautiful villa in a stunning location. It was exactly what we wanted - privacy and no noise apart from hearing the waves lapping on our private beach cove! We just could not get enough of the views. The villa is perfect - all the mod cons that you need including really good air conditioning! It is very tastefully decorated and the beds are so comfortable. The pool was fabulous and the teens used the steam room a few times. It was so lovely to be able to walk down some steps to the cove and jump into the sea. The steps are steep so take care with children. The basement has table tennis and a TV again perfect for teens. Maria was extremely helpful and had suggestions for where to eat locally and what to do - she organised for some massages in the villa which were great and we thoroughly recommend this. Areti was on hand to deal with any questions or issues with the villa and was very responsive. We really hope to be back! Thank you.

Stayed at Villa Longhouse with my wife. What a place! So peaceful/private and the house is equipped with all you need for a relaxing break. Would be great for big groups too. Kitchen is well stocked, and there’s an outdoor wood oven/bbq with plenty of fire wood. We made use of the gym equipment, sauna and well-sheltered pool too, and loved the amazing gardens. You need a car here as it’s not in walking distance of any amenities really. Karolina sent a list of recommendations which was gratefully received. Very quick to respond to any queries and the villa itself was easy to find from the directions.

The house was excellent and it exceeded our expectations! Among other things the house has a heated pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a fireplace to relax with a wonderful view of the sunset, and everything else you could ask for for your perfect holidays in Creta! We had an amazing stay at this villa! The backyard was a great place to relax in and out of the pool. Beautiful views of the ocean and plenty of space in the home. The beds were comfortable and the host was extremely responsive to all of our messages even came out to help us figure out the WiFi. We would love to stay here again!

The location is absolutely perfect, just a 5-minute drive to the nearest town, which offers a fantastic selection of restaurants. I was very pleased that the host greeted me personally at the entrance to the town and showed me the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment is beautiful, very clean, had all the amenities (as in the photos), the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is very beautiful and clean, the bedding is fresh and fragrant, as are the towels. Very comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. And of course the hot tube where you can relax and unwind in the evening. Nearby there is a small shop and a pastry shop and taverns with very good food. I highly recommend this apartment and the hosts. An ideal place to visit both the north and the south of the island.

Villa ZEPHYROS with Private Pool

The property is managed like a boutique hotel with staff continuously on premise to help with any request or cleaning. The villas are completely independent, don't have visibility on each other, and have a 180° view on the bay. The property's beach is located about 50m below the villas, it is rocky but has a very convenient ladder to the water so you can swim easily without walking on stones. There are golf carts operated by the property staff to get you there but we just walked, it only 5mns and good exercise. Mid way to the beach is a large gym room, fully equipped, next to a small picturesque chapel, all with view to the sea. The nearby village Adja Pelagia is 5mns by car and has a sandy beach and several restaurants, we recommend "Taverna Vassilis" for excellent cooking and unforgettable service. You are guaranteed to get out with a smile. Heraklion is 25mns away. For a huge, deserted sandy beach look for 'iKite' club. Balos site is a 2:30 drive to Kissamos where cruises start.

During my stay at Plethora Luxury Suites, I was impressed by the attention and availability of Dionysis, the owner. They personally make sure every detail of your stay goes smoothly. Her team, made up of Poya and Penni, is simply exceptional. Always smiling and ready to do a favor, they bring a warm and professional touch. The villa itself is a haven of peace, with a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea. In-room breakfast, private pool, and amazing modern decor add a real sense of luxury to the experience. On the amenities side, hammam, air conditioning, wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, the list would be too long to describe! If you are looking for a place where we take care of you, while offering you a sumptuous setting, Plethora is a must-see destination.
