Townhome vacation rentals in Rethymno

We had an incredible time at Villa Kamelia. It is a beautiful, spacious house, decorated with many flowers and plants and it had everything we might have needed. Several lovely beaches are within half an hour's drive. Supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants are in the next town over. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the countryside and the sea. There are many tracks and hiking paths in the nearby mountains. Vagelio and Katerina made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, including welcoming us personally and leaving some food and drinks for us in the fridge. We highly recommend staying here.

Very nice house with a great atmosphere. We liked it even better than the pictures. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that was very well equipped and had everything you needed for home cooking. We spent a lot of time on the big terrace with an astonishing mountain view! The neerby Ancient Lappa Taverna is great and the whole area has a lot of food options and historical places worth visiting. Nearest beach is 12 min in a car. Not the best beach, but there is other better options 25 min in car. Or 45 min to great beaches on the south coast (Damnoni). Eleni was a great host and easy to communicate with. Would definately come back.

It was a beautiful cottage with a very typical rustic side and at the same time very well equipped and generously well supplied with everything necessary for travelers, sheets, towels, cleaning products… The view from the terrace is stunning, we liked the mountain setting very much, we picked up nuts, figs… happiness. Thanks to these great hosts for hosting us so well with a little wine in the fridge and breakfast for our arrival!

We can’t say enough about Francisca! She was beyond helpful and proactive. The home is clean, close to everything and we’d definitely stay again. She is a true “host” - there were wine, pastries, snacks and fresh fruit when we arrived and it was much appreciated. She answered every question we had quickly and kindly. We highly recommend this home as it was clean and very comfortable.

Everything about this apartment is lovely! It has all modern comfort with a feel of a traditional local home. Everything is charming and outstanding, from the beautiful entrance with the well-kept plants to the view from the balcony. It was also immaculately clean. Stephanos and his workers were friendly, and generous. Spili is a lovely vilage, surrounded by beautiful nature. Highly recomended!

My mother and I stayed at the stone house for 4 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. A rental car is a must at the location is 30 minutes south of Heracleion and there's no mode of public transport there. We enjoyed our time here very much.

We had a lovely stay in Chomonastiri. The patio is very pleasant. The space is designed to be respectful of the Cretan style. Only small downside, the double bed in the room is not very wide. Geoges is a very welcoming and available host.

Maria is amazing and very helpful🫶🏻 We received a lot of local recommendations, during all our staying Maria was helping us with local questions. She met us very warm☀️ When we arrived we found a lot of drinks for us and our children in the fridge and fruits, the bootle of real greek olive oil also was prepared - it’s so cuuuute ☺️ villa was prepared with all needed staff including the crib for the baby and things for the shower, a lot of towels is a big plus. Villa is absolutely new and comfortable, we were staying here with our friends, in total 4 adults, 3 children and 2 infants. Big terrace with the view to the Olive Garden and also you could see the sea (not a big sea view), big parking area with fruit trees, and one more terrace in front of the house and also a small terrace for one room! Beautiful apartment, well equipped, close to Chania by car. Easy street parking which is very quiet. The apartment is very spacious, it can be suitable for 2 families. Our host's welcome is perfect. The stay around Chania is very pleasant. Recommended!

WOW, WOW,WOW! The villa is stunning with the best views I have ever experienced from every floor! Each bedroom has a great balcony and the view especially at night with the moon reflecting on the sea is fantastic! We loved the lift and the whole experience of having different floors! Marinos is a great host. We had been able to pre order food for when we arrived which was a lovelily touch! It was really a home from home with all special touches to provide whatever you need for a relaxing beach holiday. The private beach is superb but do bring sea shoes as it is a bit rocky. The pool bar is fab with a delivery service to the beach! The location is quiet and you do need a car as it’s very hilly and there are no bars within walking distance except for the pool bar, but cabs are easy to arrange with security and are not expensive. The complex has everything! Friendly people, well maintained and the pool is sublime! It is very suitable for 3 couples or a family with how the villa is laid out. So spacious and everything has been thought of! Crete is beautiful snd we did get to explore a bit of it but can’t wait to come back! We would highly recommend Marinos villa!

My family had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is perfect—nestled near a charming old town, just a short walk from the historic center of Chania. It’s the ideal spot for exploring its winding streets filled with shops, restaurants, tavernas, and scenic harbor that make the town so special. The apartment itself is a perfect blend of comfort and modern style. It’s been thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania!

we recently stayed here for a family vacation, the place was lovely and well-maintained, offering everything we needed without any issues (we even got brand new coffee machine). The house was amazing not only because of its intact history but thanks to all of the essentials, like towels, bedding, well-equipped kitchen, soap, etc. The house was very clean and the communication with the host was very smooth and pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this Airbnb and highly recommend it.

Great central and safe location. The home is as described, clean, cozy, and welcoming. 35 euro taxi ride from Chania airport. About 10min walk to a beach. 10min walk to the waterfront/boardwalk with lots of restaurants and cafe bistros. Old town is around the corner (5min walk) and a beautiful surprise at night when all the alleys are light up with shops and restaurants. It all comes to life!. The host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The property is well located and furnished. Check-in and out were a breeze. The host is responsive and caring.

We wanted to stay out last night on Crete within easy driving distance to Heraklion airport to catch our morning flight and were fortunate to discover this gem in Krousonas. The house has been creatively restored and modernised and its interior is tastefully decorated with refined style. We weren’t there long enough to really get an appreciation for the location but did get to have an exceptionally hearty meal at recommended nearby restaurant Kafeneio Karampoutze.

This is a HUGE apt. Very quiet and spacious unit. Walking distance to waterfront and very safe area. Street parking is available. A very comfortable stay. I would recommend this rental.Thank you for a great stay.
