From booking to arrival Sotirios has been a 100% host. The apartment is totally as described with all modern fixtures, fittings and appliances. The beach is a very short walk away. This location is perfect for exploring what Chania has to offer. Charm, beach, sea, food ,drink and culture. We covered over 40 miles on foot over the week wandering around all the nooks and crannies, streets, tavernas, restaurants and chilling on the beach in the sun. My partner celebrated her birthday while we were staying. On the morning we were greeted with a tray of biscuits, preserves and homemade lemonade. Even a hand made necklace for the birthday girl! Sotorios has made a stay extra special and helped us enjoy our time in Chania. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Andy and Carol x

My family and I spent 6 days in Chania, our stay was very pleasant and comfy. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need for a good holiday. The location is great, only a 5’ walk from the bus station and 15’ to the old harbour. There are plenty of coffee shops, bakeries (you must try their bougatsa), supermarkets, and shops nearby. The apartment is on the 4th floor with a lift from the 1st floor, although you still have to take the stairs to reach the lift. Keep this in mind when bringing luggage or if you're travelling with elderly people (wasn’t a problem for me, even though I’m 8 months pregnant, and for my in-laws). Parking can be tricky if you want to leave your car on the street, but there are some private parking a few blocks away, which I think is a more sensible option if you are renting a car and don't want any surprises. Overall, we enjoyed Sofia’s place and highly recommend it if you want to have a great time in Chania

We spent four very nice days here. The view is really beautiful and in 10 minutes you can walk to a supermarket. In front of the house you could park well.

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment where we felt very comfortable. Very quiet residential area with parking in front of the house. Very large balcony overlooking the mountains. We were there in early April And despite the sometimes very low temperatures with cold wind, we had it pleasantly warm in the apartment, which was due to the good heaters. Andonis is very friendly and accommodating, as is his mother Maria. We can highly recommend this place.

We've just had two wonderful weeks in Maro's apartment. Beautyful view over the sea and Rethymno from the large roof terrace where you can find sun or shade all day long. The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Katia was very helpful when we arrived late in the evening, and there was bread, butter, homemade jam, etc. in the fridge for next day's breakfast plus a bottle of water, a bottle of wine and of course raki :-) Katia also brought fresh fruit from the garden of Maro's parents during our stay. To everyone who wants to go to Rethymno: This place is worth every penny - rent it!

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

Valia was fast in responding and left clear instructions. The flat has an amazing huge terrace and its location is great, walking distance to the old town.

Studio well located in Rethymno downtown convenient to explore the city by foot. If having a car, parking can be found in the square. Quiet neighbourhood overnight. Best souvlaki restaurant/take out nearby. Giorgos is a very gentle and accessible host. Thank you for everything!

Place looked exactly how it was listed, he was flexible, responsive and easy to communicate with.

For today, this is my best experience with Airbnb. It felt like you were visiting a good acquaintance. The house had absolutely everything!! The place was very clean, cozy, looked much better than in the photos. White fluffy towels , robes, clean bedding. In each room there is an air condition. The kitchen is equipped with just everything you need - coffee, tea, butter, sugar…. A nice new frying pan is an ordinary problem with this in the rented accommodation. Lots of necessary utensils. The host left us fruit and lemonade as well as raki. She was constantly in touch and helped with anything. I would rate this place 12 on a 10-point scale 😍 I am very impressed with such a wonderful welcome and hospitality of the hostess. We'll definitely be back !

Beautiful apartment with fantastic roof terrace with sea view. Great amenities, the decor is individual, tasteful and cozy. Everything's great, just to feel good! Perfect location for exploring Chania on foot. At the same time, quietly located to relax and enjoy the great views. To the Venetian harbor or the old town, it is a nice little walk across the waterfront past numerous restaurants. Personal and very friendly reception by the hostess, the communication is great. Amazing place to stay, it was immaculate and very modern. The location to the pool and local amenities was fantastic. The studio was regularly cleaned and staff were on hand to contact should we need them. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

The accommodation looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean, and provided many amenities such as a hairdryer, spices, laundry detergent, and spreads like butter and honey. The quiet location just outside the city, a 10-minute drive away and easily accessible by bus, is definitely a plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The villa stefania is perfect place to relax and visit the Rethymnon area. The appartment is very nice and clean. The swiming pull is beautiful. The breakfist is just PERFECT and different every morning. Thank you for your kindness 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandros apartment . The garden is amazing & the host is professional & friendly . Alexandros was very helpful with everything we asked . The swimming pool is big & the garden furniture is very cozy . The appartement itself is very functional & only 10/15 mins drive from the old city . We highly recommend it .

The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.

Difficult to find better value for money than Antonia's place. - Quiet location away from major roads and yet close to a village where it is easy to get supplies - Cleanliness and comfort of the cottage - Swimming pool available - Small quality family tavern nearby in the village - Kindness of Antonia, the owner We had a pleasant stay. A property that we would recommend to those who want to visit western Crete in good conditions.

We had a wonderful stay! Maria welcomed us right away and we immediately felt like family. The view from the room is stunning and the refreshing pool is a real asset! The surroundings are very interesting and the area is very quiet. I recommend it 100%!!
