Family-friendly vacation rentals in Retamar

Reception was closed when we got there but Carlos turned up with the keys very quickly. He was very helpful and patient with our Spanish. Unfortunately the pool was under repair but we were kept informed of progress. When the pool was open again we found it a great place to swim and meet other guests. The pool is chlorine free which was lovely. We were a group of 3 ladies, there for my birthday and we had a great stay.

The stay met my expectations. Everything worked very well. Clean, very complete and practical. The medicine cabinet, very assorted. Quiet area. The terrace is fantastic, except if you were struggling to climb a spiral staircase. The treatment was great and I would come back if I could visit the area again.

A luxury accommodation in the center of Aguadulce, with amenities nearby and the beach next door. The house is spectacular and the outdoor areas are a dream, they left the pool ready for us even though it wasn't yet the opening date, and Yolanda was lovely. The only downside is that they are only double beds, and it would be nice if in some of the rooms there were two beds, in case a group of friends go and not all of them are a couple, as happened to us. As for everything else, I highly recommend this accommodation.

Host a 100% resolute person. We had an inconvenience in the.piso and resolved it on the spot. Ideal place to disconnect from EVERYTHING ideal family/couples. The unbeatable Jacuzzi! Giant pool. Very hot area. Very friendly hosts.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful urbanisation in a beautiful area. If you’re looking for a short stay with all mod cons and an lovely host, this is the perfect location. And once you there, you will want to stay longer. The apartment has everything including equipment for trips to the beach, five minutes walk away. Shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes in the other (textile) direction. The pool area is fantastic including the indoor pool; there are plenty of sunbeds. Myriam’s fully equipped two terraces ensure that you can catch or avoid the sun at any time of day. Despite 30+ degrees the ceiling fans provided enough air to maintain comfort. Aircon is also available in all rooms. The kitchen has everything you’ll need on your stay here. All in all a perfect holiday apartment. Bravo Myriam.

This was an amazing find, spectacular apartment and facilities with the benefit of being a 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants etc. Joe, Tatania & Yuri were amazing and we cannot fault the service they gave us from booking to departure. The apartment was spotlessly clean, whilst there was a slight smell of smoke from previous tenants who broke the rules, Joe was extremely apologetic but this in no way impacted our stay. We didn't want to leave this little piece of heaven and will definitely be back, in fact I'm already looking at going back there next month if it's available.

Paul was the perfect host helping us to have a wonderful week in his beautiful villa. We arrived very late at night and the tea, coffee and milk were very welcomed. The villa is amazing and the photos, even though they are beautiful, do not do the villa justice. We appreciated the new hot tub and it was perfect to sit in it late at night star gazing. Thank you Paul for a truly perfect, peaceful holiday.

Exceptional place to go with friends and children. It has everything to cook (iron, barbecue, rosco, beer pulls, ample kitchen…) and also if you like padel or go with children you have a paddle and tennis court in an acceptable state to pass the time. The pool is surrounded by grass with umbrellas and dining area. I would definitely go back.

The apartment is very cozy and we were surprised. Julián was always attentive and helpful at all times. I recommend it.

A few very pleasant days. Highly recommended. Saray is a cutie. The beaches of Almeria nothing to envy a paradise. The wonderful food,we are left with the typical rice with lobster in the chiringuito de Cabo de Gata in front of the sea , a whole luxurious.Desue to the beach day at dusk live music on the promenade , I leave us hallucinated .I doubtless to repeat. Many thanks for the stay.

What could be more beautiful than silence and sunshine? My daughter replied the moon and the stars... That's it, a return to the source, to simplicity, to the earth, its fruits, its flowers. The house is decorated keeping the soul of the house, nothing is missing, all the little touches are there. This house is a haven of peace. Thanks Karin, we'll be back!

The apartment is nice, with a large parking space and a nice terrace with a part of grass. It's great located next to all the restaurants and the black sea. We were greeted by Ana who is very attentive to friendly and made us many recommendations. She was also flexible on the checkout day. They accepted my two dogs without problems. We have stayed at Ignacio’s casa several times before. It is a beautiful spacious house which has had a substantial makeover since our last visit, with new furniture in all of the rooms and on the terrace. It is in a very peaceful location on the Macenas resort on the outskirts of Mojacar. The local buses run every 30 minutes from the resort and run right along the seafront so access to bars, restaurants and shops is really easy. Ignacio is a great host and is responsive to any question. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to everyone

We had a great time at Carlo's lovely Cueva! Níjar is a gem of a town and the surroundings are beautiful to explore. Carlos was a great host, very responsive and super friendly and helpful. Would love to come again!

Great villa, plenty of space.

We enjoyed a great stay at Casa Chinos (family of 7). Plenty of room, great layout and we had everything we needed during our stay. Robert and Alex were very responsive throughout. 2 minute walk to the Playa with some nice places to eat, kids play parks etc. pool table, table tennis and pool toys to keep the kids entertained. I stayed at the place for 4 nights, surrounding very peaceful, the Cortijo is well maintained and you find everything that you need. Sarah wrote all instructions and recommended a lot of places and also advised of weekly closures. I will definitely keep the place in mind if I will go there on vacations again

We had a great stay here. The apartment was as described and we received clear details with annotate photos about how to get into the private garage etc. Hosts responded quickly to messages. Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with comfy sofa and beds. The kitchen was well equipped with every utensil you could need! Outside balconies well equipped with a range of seating. We will definitely be back in the future to either this accommodation or one of Antonio and Laura’s other properties.

We had a lovely week here. The local beach, which you can walk to in about 30 mins or drive, is wonderful, and on October weekdays we had it almost to ourselves. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, with a good kitchen and barbecue area outside. The outside seating area was really nice with lovely plants and a decent amount of shade for those who prefer to keep out of the sun. It was hot for the time of year when we visited but the house remained nice and cool. Overall a really lovely house and garden to chill out in.
