Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Queensland

Sadly only a quick one night stay but we loved every minute. Jacqueline has thought of everything and kitchen is well stocked to cook a great meal. We were happy sitting outside to eat & relax and enjoyed the butterflies & birdlife. Looking forward to a return visit, just needs to be longer. Thanks Jacqueline

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Red Barn. Beautiful views and location. Comfy beds and lovely furnishings. We enjoyed a couple of swims in the pool in the relaxing surrounds. Would love to visit again.

The house is charming. Designed and built with love. If you need a good dose of nature and tranquillity this is perfect The hosts were excellent. Such a beautiful place and such a peaceful retreat from the city! The hosts were very helpful with local recommendations and nature walks close to the house. If I were to come again I would make it more than a one night stay.

We had a lovely girls weekend away at Tracey’s beautiful hi rise apartment in the heart of Surfers Paradise. It’s close enough to all of the wonderful things the Gold Coast has on offer but quiet enough to relax and unwind. Everything was as described and the hotel has lovely ammenities. Tracey was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great location with fantastic views, perfect to sit, relax and unwind. Fully appointed kitchen to prepare your own meals, or lots of great options nearby to eat out. Easy walk to the shops, supermarket, Sunday markets, riverfront, beaches, restaurants and cafes. Had a great stay. Thanks Mark and Emma.

Loved my stay here! A well appointed guest-room, including a great spa bath, separate kitchen/dining area, within a very short distance to the beachfront, cafes & shops. I highly recommend, and would definitely return to Reef Retreat if ever up this way again.

Ellen, thank you for such a wonderful, relaxed stay. Your attention to detail was first class. The added touch of fresh bread, cookies, breakfast pre-prepared, milk in the fridge....the list goes on. We noted the beautiful Sheridan bedding and gorgeous white Sheridan towels which are our favourite brand. This beautiful cottage is lovely and cosy and the surrounding gardens are picturesque. It was quite cool during our stay, but the heating from the air conditioning and electric blanket was the perfect remedy. We also had a lovely time in Bangalow, which has an abundance of charm and many specialty shops, with great places to eat which are all within walking distance of the cottage. We had a lovely weekend stay. Beautiful country scenery. Lovely home that was exactly what we needed for our family. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The board games were a hit with the kids.

Lovely place! Beautiful big pool. The morning sunshine through the window seat was sensational! Bed was super comfy. Carla was great with responsiveness. Close to everything and the room was SO quiet at night and peaceful

We really loved the location of Sammi's place, super close to shops, beach front and restaurants/cafes. Plenty to do, but also a great spot to relax and watch the waves roll in. Everything was accounted for and we felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the doors. Definitely recommend this gem and will return!

We had a really good 4 night stay. Great location, walking distance to everything. Check in was easy, clear pictures on where to find the keys. Good accom if you have little ones as in the cupboard there were a bucket and shovel, scooters and boogie boards provided. The only downside was there was a smell that lingered around the whole time and no hot water the morning we were checking out so could not shower.

Absolutely Perfect Stay! I had an amazing time at this Airbnb – it was everything I hoped for and more. The place is private, peaceful, and beautifully set up. Leah was an incredible host – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely to deal with. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space had everything you could need and then some! I honestly can’t wait to stay there again. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay inside a good resort. Bec’s place was everything we expected, quiet room and location, good space, spa was great and shower had pressure like you never see. Would be back again no worries !

The apartment is fantastic, extremely clean and equipped with anything we needed. We particularly appreciated the Nespresso machine, and the pantry well stocked with Nespresso pods (our favourite flavours!). The building is clean and safe. Andrew has been a great host, and has been consistently in touch with us throughout our stay. He even offered us a late check out at no extra charge! We will definitely book this property again, should we come back to Cairns!
