Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was perfectly secluded for privacy but easily accessible and close to town for easy access.

What a wonderful weekend away! Peaceful, private location, gorgeous cottage with all amenities you could need (including a hot tub and the world’s comfiest bed). Steve and Alaina were very responsive and helpful and it was such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Had a beautiful, relaxing weekend with my husband and almost 2 year old daughter. The amenities were amazing and were exactly as described. The highlight was the gorgeous highland cows, they were so friendly, cute and a huge hit with our daughter. Loved our stay!

We stayed in Possums Retreat (unfortunately just for one night) and had a fantastic time. We love this place and will definately be returning. From the awesome spa, lovely bathroom, and tasteful decor, to the thoughtful breakfast hamper supplied, everything exceeded our expectations. We didn't hear the rooster make a noise until well after 8, and we had been up for a while by then! Great directions from the hosts, who are super thoughtful, even supplying new runners beside the beds as the weather was so cold. We will definitely be back!

Murphy’s Cottage in Tamrookum is set in a peaceful and serene location. The fireplace and fire pit were perfect for the chilly afternoons and evenings while the back deck was a calming and relaxing spot for that warming morning cup of coffee. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the BBQ makes is easy to self- cater for the weekend. Short drives through the beautiful countryside to Rathdowney and Boonah make this an ideal location for day trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming country cottage.

We did really enjoy our time at the farm. It is so beautiful and was exceeding our expectations 😍 To live in an Australian farmhouse for 10 days with all the beautiful Australian nature and birdlife right outside the front door. Coming from Norway, this was a truly amazing experience! And the river is so beautiful. Especially when you wake up early in the morning and the mist makes it look so mysterious. Rhonda and Jack are very good hosts, and everything you need is provided. The garden is well maintained for you to enjoy, and inside is very tidy, and have a fully equipped kitchen and two nice bathrooms. Actually we did not do all the sightseeings we were planning for, only to enjoy this place by the river. It was all worth the 14.000 kilometers flight to get here! Thank you 😀

Jan and Richard have created a little piece of rural paradise! The cottage is wonderful, very cute and even better than the photos, with a massive yard for our dogs who had the time of their lives. The fireplace was next level and kept us warm all weekend. We loved feeding the sheep with Richard and meeting the alpaca Alex Zoomer. The kitchen had everything we needed and bed was super comfy. Not too far for a morning to Dalby and then back into Toowoomba on our way home. Perfect peaceful weekend!

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at Magnolia Cottage. The cottage was warm and cosy especially with the gas fireplace. We loved the quietness of the area and the beautiful views across the valley. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The visiting horses were a lovely addition. Great location, just a 5 minute drive into Maleny town. We hope to all come back again soon.

If you’re going to Stanthorpe, this is the place to stay! Very private and quiet location, indoor and outdoor fireplace for cool evenings. The beds were very comfortable. Fantastic location, close to everything and the best wineries! Our dogs loved the yard. The bathroom is also great! Can’t say enough about our stay, just perfect.

This was a wonderful stay with my mother for some R&R. We got the fire going when we arrived, cooked meals throughout our 3 days stay which was wonderful as kitchen was fully equipped. The bath is quite deep so it’s truly relaxing. Beds were comfortable and so many games/toys for adults and kids available. Even has an outdoor swing on the tree! We were greeted when we checked out by some gorgeous little chickens, was extremely private and peaceful. Will keep this one in mind for future travels, thank you to the hosts for a lovely stay!

We booked the Postman’s Cottage along with the main house and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage is a luxurious, peaceful retreat — beautifully styled, incredibly comfortable, and every detail was ten stars. A truly relaxing escape in the heart of Montville. Can’t wait to return! What a gem. This is a quaint and very well fitted out little cottage. Spotlessly clean. We had a lovely, peaceful time here. It was very comfortable with air conditioning and the luxury of electric blanket for a cold night. We were also spoilt with a great choice for breakfast. Thankyou to our host Jacqui

An amazing peaceful place to stay. Very clean and Sarah was a great host baking us a loaf of very yummy bread with honey on the side. it was perfect for us 5 girls to stay. loved having fireplace inside and out. very highly recommended.

Fantastic place, so many places to sit outside without being on top of each other. Pool was great after a long day of travelling. Bbq pavilion was awesome and the extra cabin was great for extra room and privacy for an extra guest.

I honestly couldn't say anything negative about the host or the accommodation. what a spectacular experience. Escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life and spend some time in complete and utter peace and quiet... 10/10 in my opinion, and my wife and I will definitely be back!

Well presented, central to town. We had unusually cold weather. The heating, fire and electric blankets were well used. The kitchen, dining area was quite cold, but we didn't notice the heater there until it was too late. It took a while for the heating to kick in when we arrived, but then we were able to easily maintain a comfortable warmth. Loved the walk along the river and the accessibility to town. The kitchen was simply and thoughtfully supplied with quality equipment. Beds and bedrooms were comfy, warm and inviting.
