We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

The views are awesome! plenty of board games and quality DVDs to choose from. Dog friendly however there is no fence if your pup likes to wander. The scenic lookout is just up the road (perfect for sunsets) and markets are on every second Sunday which was nice. I would recommend a stay!

Fantastic property in a beautiful spot. Only thing to note for future guests is that while the property is fully fenced, if you have smaller pets they may be able to fit through gaps in the fence so you need to keep an eye on them, especially the gate to the property which is on the main road as the yard isn’t fenced off from the driveway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Red Barn. Beautiful views and location. Comfy beds and lovely furnishings. We enjoyed a couple of swims in the pool in the relaxing surrounds. Would love to visit again.

I can only recommend Stuart’s place. The place has everything you need and is located in a charming farm surrounding by nature and stunning landscapes. Stuart communication and hospitality are above and beyond expectations. Thank you Stuart for the great stay.

The Hill House was a beautiful one night stay, would've happily stayed longer. Beautiful views back over the hills watching the sunset and moonrise. Very spacious, eclectic and interesting decor. Simple breakfast of cereals, milk, bread and spreads provided. And several pieces of fruit and some dips in the fridge also. Definitely recommend

We loved Kelly’s place. The view is beautiful and the grounds immaculate. The house has everything you need, very generous with supplies and amenities. The place was spotlessly clean. The bed in the main bedroom was super comfortable with really nice linen. We will definitely be back!

The pictures do not do this place justice! Such an incredible house, beautifully renovated and styled. We loved using the sauna, hot tub and pool. The doggos also loved the huge yard to run around in. We can’t wait to come back again!

The bed was large and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and delicious. The local pub had excellent meals and service. It was a great stopover on our drive from Cairns to NSW.

The place was fantastic with views better than shown in the pictures. We loved everything about the property and enjoyed our week long stay. Zoya and Roman were very helpful and we liked the hosts as much as the property! We will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay with family and friends to share an 80 th birthday. Our ages ranged from 1 year old to 80 and all ages in between and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen with its cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. was everything we needed and more. The pizza oven was a treat as was the BBQ. The children loved the well stocked dress up box, the spa and the grounds for running around and being active. The pool table and table tennis were well used and there were many cosy areas to sit and chat or have quiet time. The train was very cosy and the beds so comfortable. Those who camped enjoyed the shady area under the macedamia trees. There were so many quirky, interesting additions and decorative features to the various areas especially the Irish Pub which was a popular venue for nightly games. We would recommend this accommodation and venue wholeheartdely. The hosts are very welcoming and always responsive. Thank you.

Better than you could imagine!! The photos don’t do this place justice. The farm and surrounding area is magic. We rented both the Farmhouse and Middle Shed for our group of family and friends. They were both set up beautifully, with the kitchen of your dreams, incredible amenities, huge beds, pool, spa and hinterland views. This place is a steal for the price! We genuinely can’t wait to come back one day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Danielle’s place! It was so peaceful, quiet, and immaculate. When we walked in, it was just so comforting and felt so at home we did not want to leave :( We will definitely be back!!

My family and I loved our farm stay weekend away. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you could want and more. The property is beautiful and we had a great time exploring it. Our two boys loved Moo the dog and feeding all the animals with Leonie. We would love to stay here again!

The house is exactly as described, beautiful and cozy. Jen was flexible and kind, Charlie is a very cute dog. Highly recommend.

Fantastic would be an understatement. From booking responsiveness to greeting when we arrived all was perfect. Bruce and Buddy are a delight and we loved chatting and getting to know him and his piece of heaven at Agnes. The boat was awesome. Rustic but very clean and I’ve got to say we had the best nights sleep ever. Hardly any mozzies and bathroom and outdoor kitchen were well kept and comfortable. Bruce even provides plenty of drinking water and breakfast. Which he really did not have to. We enjoyed 5nights on this boat and used the location to explore towns and beaches. Best stay we had anywhere in ages. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle….sleep under the stars and just reset. Restaurants and shops are still close by so you won’t miss out on anything. Thank you Bruce and Buddy…we cannot wait to come back and stay again. Sonja and Sav

We had a fabulous stay at Maggie’s cottage. This was our second time and it did not disappoint. It is in a beautiful location, very peaceful but also very close to the local town. The cottage is lovely and the hosts have thought of everything!! Very thoughtful touches, we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast. We loved getting visits from Maggie the dog and the horses were a hit with my son!

Absolutely amazing and secluded part of the world. We loved it, and would love to come back some time when it's warmer to make use of the swimming hole. The cottage was much bigger than it looks in the photos, and the property is stunning. Photos don't do the place justice.

I booked myself in to stay in the yurt for a week. It was just what I needed, some much needed time out without distractions and all the noise of society. I had a wonderful night by the fire in the hammock under the stars. Did some lovely hikes and highly recommend Farmer and Sun cafe in Gympie for some local farm produce. Plenty of gluten free options if that’s your thing. Really enjoyed my visits from Lochie the lab, he seemed to think I needed company and I didn’t mind at all! His presence was very comforting. Thanks for letting me feed the horses Peter! Connecting with them really made my day as well. 2 nights listening to the rain was a really lovely way to end my stay also. I highly recommend Barb and Peter’s yurt, for getting back to nature yet having the comfort of a warm bed and a hot shower. I’d love to come back in Spring and go feed the dolphins at Tin Can Bay. Thanks very much for my week of serenity!

We thoroughly enjoyed our far too short stay. Karen's place is spotlessly clean and full of lovely surprises. Far more than I've experienced at other stays. The indoor wood fire heater was wonderful. Sadly it was too cold and windy for the outside fire. We can't wait to return.

My first experience in a tiny home, it was wonderful. I loved all the thoughtful details, organic tea, Granola, books. the place was very clean, I'll be back for sure :)
