Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Province of Massa and Carrara

We spent 4 days with family in Rafaella's house. It was his daughter, Chiara, who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay. Chiara was extraordinarily kind and caring. She patiently guided us on our journey so that we could enjoy the beauties of Tuscany. Attentive and responsive, Chiara was much more than just a contact, she brightened our stay and it is largely thanks to her that it was so pleasant. The villagers are charming and polite and you can get a few groceries in the village grocery store (run by a cousin of Rafaella) The only difficulty we faced was the language barrier. But with a little French, a little Spanish, a few words of Italian and gestures, you can still make yourself understood. Casa di Bruna is ideally located for different excursions (Cinq Terres, Pisa, La Spezia, etc.) We recommend this property. Chris

Alessia’s apartment is in the heart of old town and she is an exceptional host with lots of information regarding Pontremoli.

The week at Severino and Enrica was very relaxing for us. The house is remote and surrounded by forest. You have to experience the atmosphere, it's just unique. We were just happy to spend time in the house and outside in the huge garden. It is made with so much love and built by Severino himself and you can tell throughout. However, you absolutely need a car. Otherwise, don't hesitate to book it. It's worth it. Severino and Enrica are kind-hearted people and we are very grateful to have met them. We will be back! The house is really a fantastic place to stay! It was even nicer in real life than the pictures. The pool was definitely the highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and had all that we needed. The fantastic view was particularly impressive. Also, we got great recommendations for excursions and restaurants. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back!

House in a small quiet village, perched in the mountains with a nice view. Melania is very nice, with good advice and the accommodation is clean. We would happily stay again! Ideal for visiting the 5 lands by train from La SPEZIA. Car required to access.

Two extra plusses that stood out were the stunning rooftop balcony and very efficient aircon in every room. But be prepared if you are less fit the stair in Corniglia are a challenge! The apartment has everything you could want - old Italian charm

We stayed in Massimiliano's little paradise for the second time. We highly recommend it. A fantastically beautiful place with fantastic views from above of La Spezia, the harbor and the mountains opposite. Here you can find peace and relax. Also a perfect place for excursions to the Cinque Terre and the other surroundings. The apartment is a small palazzo. The large property is beautiful. There is also a large communal kitchen with a large terrace. Breakfast provided. The good soul Silvia constantly bakes super delicious cakes. Massimilano takes care of all matters and is a great host. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Delightful country apartment in an excellent location for trips to Lunigiana and the coast (Portovenere, Lerici). Very pleasant garden with panoramic views of the Lunigiana and ample free parking. Heartfelt thanks to Lucia, very kind and efficient!

You open the gate to the property and think you've landed in paradise. We spent a fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The view of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who take great care of their guests. They came by often and cleaned the pool, mowed the lawn, etc. The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have found great would be fly screens, so you can open the windows at night without being bitten, but that's really all. So, complaining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with a great view. From there we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To sum it up: It was a dream!!!

Nilla’s home is in beautiful surroundings and comes fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The children were particularly fond of the private pool. Nilla and Manfredo are gracious hosts, always on hand to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We especially valued Nilla's suggestions on activities in the area. They were incredibly thoughtful, providing us with lemons from their garden and local wine during a warm day.

I believe this is the best Airbnb I've ever done in my life! So nice to enter this clean , tidy place with a sumptuous view of nature from the balcony! The wonderful touches in the space! Excellent bedding! Amazing shower, perfect hot water with stone decor! I would recommend this place to all to visit the 5 lands! 20 minutes from the spezia:-) Monica and Luca exceptional kind smiling hosts!! See you soon, I hope!! Delightful, well equipped, comfortable and really quiet. It’s a real getaway but not too far from some lovely beaches and villages; a car is a must. Do note that there is no aircon, but the fan supplied was adequate for us. Our host, Elizabetta was extremely helpful.

Fabulous stop after visiting Cinque Terra. Well stocked and extra clean. Beautiful, classic home that extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The stay at Alessandro and Diego's was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space offered,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 min. by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 min. … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

wonderful villa with a very impressive panoramic view over the surrounding hills with the beautiful peaks of Alpi apuane in the background. the house and surrounding terrain is big, plenty of space. lots of birds singing around the house. we did a lot of hiking around in Lunigiana which feels a bit like a well-kept secret (beautiful but not many tourists). we liked Fivizzano, but basically every little village is quite pretty here.

The only suggestion we have for future visitors is not to attempt driving with a car all the way by the gate of the house. It is super tight and could damage your car. I have to admit that the super nice owners recommended not to attempt and I made the mistake of challenging it :) the second time, didn't end up well... Otherwise, we would recommend bringing shampoo and body soap with you before checking in... Overall the people were super friendly, responsive and helpful. The view and the garden is just as beautiful and better than the pictures.

Pietro is a very nice man and made our group feel at home. His ability to provide transportation to and from the Airbnb was a huge help.
