Places to stay in Province of Lucca

Prachtige locatie en een zeer gastvrije en behulpzame host. Inrichting is heel sfeervol en netjes met allerlei extraatjes om het verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Het is wat afgelegen en hoog op de berg maar wow, wat een fantastisch uitzicht over Lucca!

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

We loved staying in Marie's flat. The listing is accurate. The flat is immaculate. The kitchen well stocked for self catering. Myself, my husband and 3 teenagers had plenty of space and peace after busy days out. We used the train to get from the airport to Lucca and for all our trips. Lucca was beautiful, safe, laid back and historic. A great decision to stay here. The neighbours were friendly. Wear trainers....there are lots of steps - towers in every town. Cycle around the walls. Walk out to the aquaduct. Go to the coast. Or just sit and enjoy the music in the Piazza's. There is so much to do. Thanks for having us.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Haus und die Wohnung ist einfach schön und der Garten hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Die Kommunikation mit Olga war auch sehr gut und unkompliziert. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amelia’s house in Vellano.  The house is very comfortable and easy to live in, and it has fantastic views into the village and the surrounding hills.  Amelia is a welcoming host and very easy to communicate with.  We also appreciated having Stuart on the ground as someone who is always willing to help and to point out things to do.  We hope to make it back some time in the future.

De locatie van de airbnb is geweldig! Het duurt even voordat je naar boven bent gereden vanaf de doorgaande weg, maar het is het meer dan waard. De rust in het dorpje is heel fijn, en de mensen zijn vriendelijk. Geoff en Jenny hebben ons een warm welkom gegeven en hebben ons fijn geholpen tijdens ons verblijf. Ze zijn hele fijne hosts! De keuken is voorzien van allerlei keukengerei en je kan er uitgebreid koken. De slaapkamers waren erg mooi en het hele appartement is goed en stijlvol ingericht. Het balkon op de vallei geeft je elke dag nieuwe uitzichten en het bleef elke keer weer adembenemend. Ik zou deze airbnb 100% aanraden!

This is an absolutely wonderful relaxing place to stay. It is high on the mountain with an amazing view and a swimmingpool. Carolyn is an amazing host. Very friendly and accommodating. We can easily recommend this apartment to anyone! We hope to see Carolyn again at her place in Italy!

I was in Pietrasanta for 6 weeks to sculpt marble. Stefania's is in walking distance to the train station, great restaurants, grocery stores and walking trails. The place is quiet and well equipped. I highly recommend staying there.

A nice place to explore the seaside (e.g., Viareggio area), Lucca, Pisa, and many other places. Responsive and friendly host. Smooth check-in and check-out. Everything as expected. Thank you!
