Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just to let you know: Molly herself is just a kind of agency from the UK, with whom you have contact before arrival. We were then in contact with the host family on site and were very warmly welcomed by them. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were handed a homemade antipasti plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we couldn't get out of it. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl must not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and here we really want to highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. Exceptionally beautiful house in Tuscany. With a wonderful mountainous location and incredible views. Lucca, Pisa, Florence and many other destinations can be easily reached by car 😁 Mr. Biondo, who is actually the host, is an extremely courteous and friendly man. Steh is helpful and can be reached at any time. I'd love to come back 😁

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Beautiful views, 20 min by car from the nearest town, not accessible without a car. The communication went great, the house was easy to find with navigation & the area is very nice

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and cosy cottage. Dominick was a great host. We felt at home right away. We also enjoyed the company of Blacky, the house cat, who payed us a visit every morning. There was a bar and some restaurants within walking distance. The perfect spot to explore Tuscany.

There is no need to use redundant words to say how much we enjoyed ourselves; it is evident that in Sandra's delightful little house everything has been arranged to make the stay of the guests as pleasant as possible. Cleanliness, amenities, location, parking space, tranquility of the area... and the list could go on and on; and then what about Sandra, a person of extraordinary radiance who welcomes her guests with a smile that is like a hug... thank you very much and congratulations, we hope to return!

Our little family loved our stay here. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s so much more beautiful in real life. The hosts were lovely and the villa felt just like being at home. It was very comfortable and the hosts accommodated our baby boy with a cot and high chair which was very helpful. It is a relatively short walk into the city centre of Lucca which was extremely handy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The cottage is beautiful, we felt comfortable immediately. It had everything you needed to live. The surroundings are enchanting and quiet, perfect to recover from stress in everyday life. We will be happy to come back.

This was a very well equipped AIRBNB. The rooms are just like the pictures and it is very well appointed with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The host had left thoughtful extras, such as beer and wine, and fruit. Would recommend.

Gorgeous old house, great area to explore.

Really a fantastic stay, even better than on the photos. Really everything present in the spacious house. No need to worry about bringing toys or baby stuff yourself. Also a lovely swimming pool and beautiful garden. Nice for little and a little bigger kids. The first time the narrow road to it is a bit exciting, but thankfully someone was driving with it. No problem after that. It's all very private and Lucca is nearby. We hope to come back sometime.

Authentic Italian accommodation in the hills of Tuscany. Fivizzano is within driving distance, here you will find nice cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket with a wide range of regional products and high quality fruits and vegetables. The pool was wonderful and already good in terms of temperature at the beginning of June. Communication with the host was great, very friendly and helpful. A car is a must.

Wonderful Airbnb in a great place. The garden is really beautiful. Nicely received and very lovingly helped with our luggage by Lorenza's parents! Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back!

What a beautiful accommodation in the tuscan countryside! We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed Irenes wonderful house and garden. By car you can reach Lucca or the beach easily. Be aware of the steep dirt road leading to the house - an appropriate car is needed. We hope to be back soon - thank you, Irene!

Had wonderful days in the beautiful maisonette. Close to the city and quiet area. Very nice bed and everything was sparkling clean!

Beautifully restored and very cozy chestnut dryer (metato) in the hills above Bagni-di-Lucca with ample opportunities for excursions on foot or by car (Lucca, the valley of the Lima, the Ponte Magdalena, ...). It's unfortunate that Bagni itself is some past glory. The terraces in front of and behind the house allow you to enjoy the peace and the view from breakfast until late in the evening. Roberta, who welcomes the guests in the absence of the owners, is an absolute added value for the owners of "il metatino". We have never experienced its unprecedented commitment to both the stay and the guests during our previous holidays in AirBnB accommodations.

We had the best time at Stefania's place. It is even better than the pictures. A clean, nice place with a great and calming view. We woke up everyday to find a basket outside our door with a breakfast prepared by Stefania. The breakfast was different every day, with food from local producers. Stefania was really helpful with tips for things to do and see. And she gave us lemons from her lemon tree, eggs from the hens and home made focaccia, to mention some. Highly recommended!

This house and Giovanni are just amazing. Located very remote in the middle of a forest, this Pearl leaves no wishes open. The house was super clean, great interior and furniture. Giovanni will help with any query in no time. I recommend this place very much, we loved it. Thank you Giovanni :)

Casa Mimi is located in a small quiet place. The cottage has a great private pool and fenced garden which was very convenient for us as we were there with our dog. Everyone was super sweet, we were very nicely received and felt comfortable. Our dogs got along great and were always allowed to play with each other - our personal highlight!
