Rene's place is off the main road, giving it a more private and peaceful atmosphere. That said, everything was still in walking distance, which makes it a great location. It is a very cute cottage, with all the necessary amenities.

This house is a work of the finest art. Beautiful curiosities in every corner, lovely garden. Do yourself a favour and stay here. We loved buying some Karoo lamb and braaing it in the kitchen fire place. They really understood the venturi effect in the 1800s when it was built; the indoor fire, local produce and exceptional gas range are a cooks dream. Not to mention the local art and beautiful old architecture. 11/10.

I couldn’t have asked for a better spot for a solo retreat. The cottage hade everything I needed and nothing beats the peacefulness of the wide-open Karoo. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay at this airbnb. We really enjoyed the extra luxuries like Charlotte Rhys producrs, coffee plunger and our welcoming gifts. The house is modern but still has character. Garden is pristine. Great pool with incredible views. They were also very helpful and allowed us to check out a bit later which made such a big difference for us. We could enjoy a last cup of coffee on the patio taking in the serene views instead of rushing back to city life. 100% recommend. Thanks to the entire team. P.s. Loved the really well equipped kitchen.
