Beautiful home. Very well equipped. Great location and the pool is divine. As mentioned by other guests, aircon or at least a floor fan for mosquitos could be added to each room to help with that. Access through the main bedroom is odd, but thanks to the side gate means it not a problem at all. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

What a wonderfully stunning house - truly worth a visit on its own without even stepping foot outside into the quaint, peaceful and serene Prince Albert. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elfen House. Thank you to our gracious host for making our stay so special.

Tastefully decorated, like the pages of a decor magazine has sprung to life. Chic and contemporary meets Karoo. A treasure of a spot and can highly recommend a visit here. Zelma was very helpful with recommendations on where to dine etc. and let us know within 30min that we left something behind after checking out. The only place we will stay if visiting Calitzdorp again.

We had a lovely stay! Blanca and Madeleine gave us such a warm welcome and were incredibly helpful with great tips. We especially appreciated their dinner recommendation and that they even arranged a table for us—such a thoughtful touch! The cottage was fantastic, with a fully equipped kitchen that makes it perfect for a longer stay. The pool was very clean, and the secure parking right in front of the house was a big plus. The private entrance added to the sense of privacy. The entire property is beautiful, and the room looks even better in person than in the photos. We would love to come back!

This is the second time that we‘ve stayed at Jako‘s beautiful house on 3 Queen St. It literally has everything you could possibly need or ask for. It’s incredibly beautiful. The attention to detail is remarkable and for someone who absolutely loves beautiful light and aesthetics — a dream! Situated perfectly with little restaurants and a little kids park all just a stroll away. Jako made sure we felt at home with our two kids and we got a camp cot which was perfectly convenient. Thanks again for another excellent stay. We might be back a third time :)

The house is huge. iIt looks tiny from the front side but everything is very large. 4 large bedrooms , 3 with big bathroom. very large kitchen, living room, entrence etc. Communucation with Jan theco-host was very easy and fast. He and his family live just next door. He gave us great insider information. We were welcomed with fresh bread. Definitely higly recommrndable place. Thanks a lot

We had a lovely stay celebrating a friend's birthday. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with a few more platters and larger serving bowls to enable cooking and serving larger groups of people. Also perhaps some lamps in the lounge to create more ambience. It was either very bright lights while eating at the dining table / sitting in the lounge or in the dark with just the kitchen lights as lighting. Other than that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend your establishment for a comfortable stay for large families.

A super affordable 5 sleeper with enough space for everyone. Main bedroom sleeps 4 so more suitable for families or friends sharing. A sparkling pool and a braai area with some wood supplied. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided. Solar powered so not affected by LS. An aircon in the lounge plus wifi and TV streaming services for those hot days where exploring would be uncomfortable. The shower was great with plenty hot water. Ashlea is a very friendly hostess and on site in the main house in case of problems - although we had none. Seamless check in and out and we will definitely be back to Winemakers when we're in the area again!
