Our apartment of about 45m2 is located on the resort of Les Rousses, in the heart of the Haut-Jura mountains. The surrounding nature offers many activities in all seasons such as alpine skiing (at the foot of the Dôle-Tuffes massif of the Jura area on Lake Geneva), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, golf, mountain biking or discovering the many lakes in the region. The accommodation was renovated in 2024. It is well equipped and has a bedroom with 1 bed 140x200 and 1 floor bed 90x200.

Warning, mezzanine bed (claustrophobes should refrain: the mattress must not be moved from the mezzanine), height under mezzanine of 1.82 m (bathroom, kitchen worktop).

Nice and cosy place. Felt very clean as well. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome gifts were nice. If driving from Geneva/Nyon, there is some very windy roads to get here. The chalet was close to the french border so we went over for groceries - was like a 5min drive to Carrerour and Intermarche. Great to see something different!

I spent three peaceful nights here and couldn’t have asked for more. Janette was a warm and generous host, taking the time to show me around the property and the region, with helpful recommendations and maps. The house is easily accessible by car and ideal for both short and longer stays. note that it seemed like the nearby town doesn’t have much in terms of shops or restaurants, so having a car makes all the difference. Highly recommend!
