Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Praia da Barra

A few hours before arrival, we were told that the cottage we had booked was not available due to an electricity failure. Nothing but praise for their communication and they always looked for solutions. They suggested us another house in another area. In itself also a very nice house but it was however not quite our thing. After all, we were looking for nature and peace and quiet. We had reported this and then Viktor sought a solution to have the electricity fixed in the original cottage. And a few hours later we got word that we could move into the cottage. What a cosy cottage, in the middle of peace and quiet, in a small tiny hamlet. Just what we were looking for with our family. Close to the Arouca geopark and a very nice little restaurant Mira Freita where we regularly ate. In one word, perfect hosts and beautiful houses in their portfolio! Thank you very much for hosting us.

I was stayed 1 week there.. it's very clean and calm place.. comfortable beds..sofa...hot water.. garden... kitchen...t v... WiFi.. friendly owner..we are enjoyed there... everything is fine..

Great place to stay and enjoy :) the host (Sra Adelaide) was amazing, very helpful and responsive. The house is perfectly decorated, very comfortable and with all the amenities needed to enjoy a perfect weekend or longer stays. Would give 6 stars if possible ! Thank you for everything

Villa is great with an amazing view on the mountains. It's well equiped with everything you could need. Cris & Alex are great, always available and proactive in the recommandation they gave you. Overall it's just a perfect accommodation !

I loved this place! Host was so responsive to all of my messages (both prior to and during my stay) providing me with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay.The AirBnB has excellent amenities and I made a lot of use of the kitchen and common space. Very quiet área with amazing landscaping views. Highly recomended

Excellent choice. Ana was super available, I asked for a kitchen utensil that was not available and when I arrived at the apartment it was already available. Super communication! Super location!

The apartment was very nice and clean, in a quiet town near Aveiro. It was just like the pictures and had a lot of towels and everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful place with great view over the local town. It was peaceful and comfortable. Monica is a wonderful host and welcomed us on arrival in person. Will return in the future

we spent a week with our feet in the water. the location is ideal for the holidays right in front of the sea , we were able to enjoy beautiful views and breathtaking sunsets..and also fresh fish still bought on the beach sold by fishermen. the apartment is great even if we missed some ustencile kitchen to feel like at home and first necessities that are not provided. for the rest it was very good. I do not mention this accessory for the water pressure a little noisy because it doesn't bother at night. In short, we only keep good memories. thank you for this rental.

The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean, a comfortable sofa and bed. While the washing machine was shared, we never found it busy. The kitchen area was small but fine for breakfasts and snacks. Once we found our way around, the apartment was close to great restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Very private. Near downtown (10 mins walk)

The house is super well equipped and cared for. All rooms (the 8) have a toilet. Luisa is super nice and let us check out a little later. The only negative point was the pool being shared with the other house, otherwise everything was perfect :)

This is truly the best airbnb I have ever been to. Mushroom house will be a great experience in one of the world’s most beautiful places. It’s a hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth its money!

Perfect house for a few days as a family we had a great time, we are thinking of repeating in summer to enjoy the pool, the hosts are lovely and very friendly

Vitor's place is excellent. Good areas, very well cared for, extreme cleaning and with all the utensils necessary for a family of 8 people to feel at home. The heated swimming pool is de facto differentiating and has allowed us to enjoy our family days despite the rain. The kids loved it. The place is very quiet and those looking for a place to rest, and getting to know the community is an excellent option. Vitor as host is inexhaustible, always available, extremely friendly. He sent us all the information necessary for a quiet stay, such as a list of supermarkets, restaurants and points to visit. It was amazing and we all love the stay. Let's go back for sure, but in the summer to get to know the other side of the community at a different time of the year! I highly recommend it.
