Apartment vacation rentals in Praia da Barra

I've been doing an internship at the University of Aveiro and stayed for 3 months in Mário's studio. The studio is modern and new with all the items needed for a long or short stay. It is very well located and in the central region of Aveiro, close to markets, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and various sights, it is possible to take all the walking tours. Mário and Frederico were great hosts paying attention from the clarifications to the reservation, during their stay and at check out. No doubt the cost-benefit was worth it and when I return to Aveiro I intend to stay on site.

This place was spotless and very beautifully decorated. We felt safe and secure in our stay. The location was superb and was very close to many of the must-see attractions in the town. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, secure, convenient and beautiful place to stay. Amazing host!

Pedro's place is located in the heart of Coimbra with walkable access to everything you want to see and do. Because of its location in the historic center, taxis had to drop off at about 300 mts from the apartment. This is only an issue if you have heavy suitcases because you have to drag them going up the street snd when you leave down. Also the building does not have a lift. Again this is only an issue if you have to carry heavy luggage upstairs. In our case we were in a third and thanks to Pedro who helped us to carry them up to the apartment. Besutiful apartment with everything you may need for a short or long stay and Pedro was a very attentive and gracious host. We had a great time in Coimbra and if we go back we will stay in Pedro's place only that this time I will not have heavy suitcases. Thank you Pedro!!! We had a great stay!

Could not have picked a better place! Honestly, think he should charge more (shhhh!) so bright, clean, modern and great location! Friendly and helpful - He’s a friend keeper! This is the place you want to stay! No more searching!

Very good and I recommend it

I was supposed to arrive at the train station, and I had three bags, so I was looking for a place as close to the train station as possible, but I booked it because I liked the location and interior of the hotel, and I was really satisfied, and I will book it again next time if it's a trip for 1-2 people. I liked this place, so I booked a place in Porto through 'guestready', and it was also nice. There were several luggage storage facilities near the property, and it was really nice to have two large supermarkets close by in the back alley of the property. There was laundry detergent and a drying rack, and the place was quiet during my stay, so I had a good rest. I walked along the canal from 'Forum Abu Abir' to the mart, did the groceries, and came to the accommodation. However, they didn't give me exact instructions on how to open the door on the first floor of the accommodation, so I had a hard time opening the door in the evening, but the management team responded right away and let me know. You have to push the door while holding the key on the touchpad and then pull it to open. I think it would be nice to inform the guest how to open the door with a video before check-in. And there was a fingerprint on the toilet switch, and there was pink scale on the shower wall, so it would be great if you paid a little more attention to the management.

My stay was really pleasant. The house is very cozy and its location, a stone's throw from the beach, is a real treasure. Sleeping with the sound of the sea in the background is one of those little pleasures that are priceless. The apartment is renovated with a modern and warm style, in addition to being impeccably clean and well organized. Adelaide was helpful at all times, which made me feel accompanied throughout the stay. He also recommended several restaurants, something that is always appreciated, even if you already know the area. I definitely plan to go back.

Super recommended! Safe, quiet place; supermarket; pharmacy; medical and dental clinics; road and train station to other cities; easy parking (many spaces) and free of charge. As for the apartment, I felt at home - king bed, air conditioning in the living room and in the bedroom; impeccable bed and bath linens; top bathroom/bath; a bathroom and everything well modern. Ana's place is so cozy, clean and comfortable we almost did not want to leave! She is an attentive host and it shows in small details and little extras that were added to the accommodation. We arrived way later than planned and late at night but she stayed online and proactively asked us about the checkin. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful and is less than 15 mins drive to Coimbra. We would stay with Ana again when we are in the area.

Cute little cottage. Location was awesome, 2 minutes from the beach but also not directly on the beach so it was nice and quiet. Cleanliness was good. Parking is possible right outside the door in a huge parking lot. But it may also be full in the high season. He was very empty with us. In September, there were a lot of bars, etc. Which was a bit unfortunate but also understandable. Beach was very clean and completely empty. For the essentials there are two small supermarkets. But we drove to Tocha for shopping. We had little contact with Catia. But when we wrote, she responded within a minute. Overall, we felt comfortable and will certainly come back ;)

Joana's space is very comfortable, everything is clean and new, everything is working. We were there in the winter and we were very warm in the house. The location is great, quiet, close to important tourist attractions and the main services. There's a delicious little restaurant nearby. It was a really great choice!

Space super clean and welcoming, quiet area. Mr. Ricardo was very attentive waiting for us to check in after the agreed time due to an unforeseen situation with our daughter. The house was super well equipped and we were offered coffee for the machine, which we appreciate! I highly recommend it!

Our stay was joyful and relaxing. We were warmly welcomed by the host with delicious traditional bread. The area is beautiful and tranquil, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with the soothing sounds of nature. The garden, filled with citrus trees, was a delight, and the jacuzzi and barbecue area made our evenings perfect. Inside, the building was cozy and well-heated, with clean, comfortable beds and fresh linens. We enjoyed sunny days in the garden and even on the rainy night, the spacious kitchen was ideal for gathering. The host was flexible with check in/out and very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
