George and his wife seem to truly enjoy their roles as hosts. If you are the kind of traveler who appreciates a personal connection to the people you are staying with, then this place for you. We also received the deluxe service that many reviewers here comment on - mule delivery of our luggage up the hill, various beverages, pastries, bread, and, above all, water(!) waiting for us at the space when we arrived. Seeing as you are not supposed to drink the tap water in many places in Greece, having a good supply of bottled water on hand (and not having to lug it up the hill) was a great help to us. It is about a 10 to 12 minute hike up (and six or seven back going down) but the location at the top of the town is worth it, especially if you visit Hydra during the summer with the high volume of tourists, for both the peaceful atmosphere and the views on both sides of ocean and hills . Spotlessly clean and cozy apartment on two levels. Highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay at Katerina's air bnb. Katerina and family were very friendly. If I asked a question or needed something there was always a quick answer. Katerina met me for the last part of the way there as Hydra's streets can be confusing. The flat was very comfortable with a patio to have breakfast, coffee etc. And about 2 minutes away from a local shop. I had a great stay and would go again. Thanks

A hidden gem right by the sea. The property of Georgios is very unique and beautiful, The old olive trees in the big garden are very special. The terrace was amazing to just sit on and watch the Ocean. The close by beach and Tavern make it perfect! We loved this place to start off our Greece Vacation. Georgios is also very nice and easy in contact- we arrived very late, no problem for him. Thank you!

The apartment was very inviting and cozy, amazing view and an easy walk to the pier and restaurants. The hostess was available for us. It was clean and pampering.

The hosts were very helpful and arranged a donkey to taxi our luggage to the apartment. After that, they gave us complete peace and freedom, popping by only to give us a basket of homemade desserts! The apartment has everything you need + a comfortable bed. The best feature is the breathtaking terrace with a view over the valleys of Idra. On the terrace, they have a table for having a romantic dinner and comfy double daybed to lay on and watch the sunset + do some stargazing. The view was so beautiful, that my boyfriend chose this terrace to propose to me! This is a special place that we will never forget!

Lovely Airbnb with a gorgeous view over Hydra, right to the ocean. We loved staying here and spending time on the patio. We got some great recommendations from the host too which were all great! We would absolutely stay here again.

How to say, if you are looking for tranquility, rest, sun, a beautiful sea view,a jacuzzi for relaxation , in a charming town, this cycladic house will charm you as it charmed us! Sue is a welcoming, pleasant and responsive host. We can only recommend this slice of heaven!

Nikolas's house was everything I expected and more.. The location was about a 40 minute walk from the port, Nikolas sent instructions of how best to get taxi for when we arrived, but once we had tested the walk out the next day we decided it would be ok to walk back with our luggage for the return ferry. There was an amazing bakery about 5 minutes walk from the house and a supermarket with just about everything you may need. We were welcomed by Zoe with lemonade and her own olive oil and the fridge was stocked with water - lovely gesture. The house has everything there to enrich your stay and had a lovely personal touch to it. The local area was fairly quiet, beautiful peaceful beaches and quite a few eating places. Delicious breakfast at Odyssey, and evening meals at a couple of the beach front restaurants which were all good. The port area is much busier and has lots of bars, shops etc, but still has a peaceful aura. Beautiful place and I would return in a heartbeat! ❤️

An utterly charming spot 💫

A well designed beautiful white peaceful space with terrace and a courtyard tucked into one of the perfectly romantic alleyways in the port town of Idra. Close to the waterfront (the ferry) and the little bakeries, cafes and restaurants. I had been traveling for a couple of months and was flying back to N America for the busy holiday season and this was the perfect place to rest and recharge. I hiked, I ate good food, i read and relaxed. Loved everything about it. Great host-always responsive. Highly recommend.

Anna’s home was beautiful as was the location. Very close to some amazing restaurants on both sides of the peninsula. Easy walk to the ferry. We were made to feel like part of the family. Anna left us lovely fresh fruit, jams and water. Communication by Anna was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect for us and we would definitely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arose. Thank you Anna.

Perfect place to visit Athens without being in the noise of the capital. Tram 180m direct to the center in 30min and for really cheap. I order

Konstantinos is located in a peaceful and safe part of Athens. The apartment is in very nice condition, the pictures are not deceiving. He is a very kind host, always quick to respond and even provided food and toiletries. There is a Lidl about 10 minutes walk away, where you can buy cheap groceries. I highly recommend staying in Athens if you don't mind the city centre being a bit far away. The 40 bus is calculable and the metro is close by too. And Athens and Greece are wonderful, needless to say. And let's not forget the lovely cats :)

beautiful little apartment in a neighborhood that is not touristy, so not too many people which is nice there are supermarkets for shopping. Dimitris was responsive to every request. The apartment was very clean. Nothing was missing. The metro is a 10-minute walk to 2 stations from the Acropolis. In short, perfect value for money.
