Vacation rentals with a patio in Poros

We had a lovely stay at Hydra Serene Escape. Firstly, Maria was very friendly and responsive, and she provided very clear instructions about how to get into the property. The apartment was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed. On arrival we were greeted by Maria’s Mum, who was very friendly and gave us lots of water and cat food which was received well. We very much enjoyed staying in Kamini, which was a 15-20 minute walk from Hydra Port along either the gorgeous coastal path or through the beautiful (albeit hilly) streets of the town. Being this side of the town meant we were also only a 30-40 minute walk to Plakes Beach, which we would highly recommend. The highlight of our stay though was the apartment’s beautiful garden. We sat every morning enjoying the picturesque views and peaceful surroundings, listening to the birds while enjoying an iced coffee from the cafe (just at the bottom of the steps) and the company of the friendly local cats. Thanks for making it special!

Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

A home away from home. Fridge filled with drinks and snacks, complete kitchen with coffee and everything you need available, great clean bathroom … And then breakfast with omelette, pastries, fruit and yogurt at the desired time in front of the apartment .. I'll be back

We had a wonderful stay in Agistri! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and perfect for a family. The hosts went above and beyond by providing a basket full of toys and toddler-friendly cutlery, which made our little one feel right at home. One of the highlights was the beautiful backyard, where we could relax and watch the peacocks wander around the empty field next to the house! The only small downside was that the bathroom was a bit outdated and the fan/noise could be a little loud. But overall, this didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely recommend it to families looking for a peaceful getaway.

This place is MAGICAL! Absolutely perfect for a couple or for 2-3 solo travelers for a long weekend. Nothing is more than a five minute walk, and it is SO close to the port!

Small and comfortable apartment. All the needed necessities provided and a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. The place is near all the restaurants, bars and near the bus stop that takes you to the beach. Surely would visit again.

Stratos’ communication was exceptional. He accommodated an early arrival and met us at the port for our arrival. The walk to the accommodations served as a local guided tour and allowed time to learn about the island with Stratos. We would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect home away from home retreat: the house itself was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy peaceful meals together in the various communal spaces. It was conveniently located by a well-stocked supermarket, as well as within 10-15 minutes’ walking distance to the restaurants and beaches of Hydra. Our host sent us lots of recommendations and was friendly and responsive throughout our trip. We would be delighted to stay here again!

Niki's place was a simple yet very comfortable little home. Very welcoming on arrival. Good bed and bedding, extremely nice shower, and a washing machine turned out useful too. It was exactly what we needed. The kitchen had just about what we needed for cooking a meal, but do bring own oil etc. They did supply provisions for making coffee and tea. The area is extremely peaceful and lovely and quiet in the night.

My family loved staying at Joy House. It is spacious and comfortable with lovely outdoor spaces. Konstantinos was communicative and helpful. Would gladly return!

The view of the Saronic Gulf and the Peloponnese from both the living room, master bedroom, and outdoor dining table can't be beat. The photos actually don't do it the justice it deserves. I found olive oil and spices in the pantry so I was able to cook with a minimum of things from the grocery store. For other things, there is a grocery store about a mile up the road. The thing I liked best about this house is the privacy and the peace and quiet. I did hear church bells from the town below occasionally, but nothing else. Here you feel like Zeus sitting on top of Olympus.

We had a wonderful time at this very beautiful place. Could not be closer to the sea. We got al lot of great and helpful recommendations. We can highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay! Ilias and Argyro were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Hydra itself is beyond charming! Up on a hill and a little removed from the congestion of the town, the house is quiet and comfortable. It’s an historic home that has been renovated, and the quality of the construction is very impressive - as is all the artwork! Our one challenge was the WiFi was not working in the unit, which was a problem as we are remote workers. Ilias graciously walled off a large section of the house upstairs for our use immediately adjacent to a second network router, but even there network speeds weren’t great - 10 to 15mps (a small fraction of what we are accustomed to). So as much as we enjoyed the home, the town and our hosts, we would be a little reluctant to offer a full throated endorsement for digital nomads. Vacationers should definitely come! Remote employees? Maybe…

We loved our stay in this apartment. The view was beautiful and the design of the apartment was well thought out and felt very authentic. The little touches like recessed lighting, electric shutters, fans, aircon, and antique furniture were much appreciated and elevated our stay — we found it very well suited to short term stays. In general, it would have been nice if there was slightly more upkeep/ freshening up of the place (particularly in the kitchen) but that was our only real gripe. Similarly, the furniture, despite being pretty, was not very functional, especially in the twin room and kitchen (which could benefit from a little revamp and restock of supplies like more cooking apparatus and better washing up facilities). But as we were only there for 3 days, it didn’t bother us much and instead we ate out for every meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment. Great location, authentic design, responsive host and beautiful views.

The absolute best location and view in Athens!

This suite was perfect! Ioannis was super responsive and helpful during the check in process. We were able to do laundry and use this Airbnb as a perfect clean reset to our lengthy trip. The balcony had a beautiful view of the acropolis too!

Our stay was wonderful. The view from the patio of the Acropolis is magnificent, especially at night. The apartment is clean and nice. The neighborhood was quiet with an easy walk to the sights. The host provided us with many recommendations and was quick to respond to any questions. We accidentally broke the glass shower door and he was so gracious and understanding while concerned that no one was hurt. The massage chair was a welcome reprieve after walking around town. Great apartment and amazing host!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect- feels safe, is walkable to the major sights, and also has tons of bars, restaurants, and shopping right outside the door. The unit was very clean (including the hot tub) and there was an AC unit in every room and was very strong, which was great! I would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic apartment highly recommended

The place was a great. It was nice to be on a neighborhood a little away from the crowds. It was peaceful on the terrace. There were two really good restaurants within a block and half. Along with some bakeries, coffee shops and mini markets. Made it very convenient! Place was very clean and comfortable.

Zhana was one of the best hosts we’ve had the pleasure of using through this platform. She was extremely helpful and always responsive to any questions we had. Regarding the apartment, it looks better in person than in the pictures. The neighbourhood is quiet but close to many restaurants and the metro which gets you anywhere you need to go in Athens. The patio was a favourite of ours, having such a large, private outdoor space in the middle of the city was amazing. Bed was comfy, all appliances and finishes looked nearly new, we had zero issues with this place during our 5 night stay
